Mr. Chander Sawhney is a seasoned professional possessing multi-disciplinary approach, sound leadership acumen and good inter personal management skills. He is Fellow Member of ICAI, Associate Member of ICSI and Certified Valuer – ICAI with practical experience of more than a decade in diversified domain of Investment Banking, M&A and Transactions - domestic & cross border, Valuations and Business Modelling, Deals & Fund Raising and allied matters.

He is presently leading the Valuation and Deal Practice at Corporate Professionals Capital Pvt. Ltd., a SEBI Registered Merchant Banker (Cat-I), headquartered at New Delhi. He is a member of ASSOCHAM National M&A Council and TIE-Delhi. He has been visiting Faculty Member for Valuation course of ICSI and Business Leadership Programme of SOIL, MBA College - Gurgaon and has participated as Speaker in many National conferences of Professional and Industry bodies including (ICAI, ICSI, IICA, Assocham, CKF, PHD, Rotary Club etc.)

Chandra Sekhar is a Senior Manager with financial advisory services (FAS) of Price Waterhouse & Co., a member firm of the PwC global network.

At PwC, Chandra provides valuation advisory services including valuations of businesses, intangible assets (brands, IPR&D, contracts, customer relationships etc.), financial instruments to name a few and related financial modeling and business analysis to several clients within the merger and acquisitions and transactions space.


Christopher Tan

Christopher is a director within PwC Singapore’s Deals Advisory team where he leads the specialist Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) services. Christopher was on previously on secondment with the PwC London SPA team which has advised on more than 2,000 SPAs in the last ten years, and is connected to the global SPA team network in offices such as New York, Chicago, Paris, Moscow, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Rome, Amsterdam, Riyadh, Sydney and Melbourne.

In any transaction, the Sale and Purchase Agreement represents the outcome of key commercial and pricing negotiations. Purchasers and Sellers are becoming increasingly sophisticated in seeking to exploit the potential value to be gained through the negotiation and execution of the SPA.

Christopher provides advice to clients on the financial aspects of Sale and Purchase Agreements and the development of robust negotiation positions, in order to maximize the value extracted through the completion mechanisms in the SPA and protecting clients against the erosion of value in the M&A process. Christopher works closely with the due diligence team and the client’s lawyers to crystallise the impact of the due diligence findings in the SPA.

Christopher provides buy side and sell side advice on SPAs to both corporate and private equity clients.  Christopher’ clients on SPA work include TPG, Bain Capital, 3i, Permira, Qatar Investment Authority, Angelo Gordon, British American Tobacco, Sony Music, RELX, Boehringer Ingelheim, I Squared Capital, Aptos, Whitbread Group PLC, Oaktree Capital, Jones Lang Lasalle, Savills (UK) Limited, Menzies Aviation PLC, Greencore Group, Connect Group PLC, and Edcon Limited (South Africa).

Mr. D.V. Manohar is a Senior Director in the Deloitte Tax - Mergers and Acquisitions based in Bangalore.

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in November 1997. Manohar has over 15 years of experience specializing in direct taxation, transfer pricing, advising companies on matters relating to various restructuring activities. Manohar has wide experience in acquisition / transaction structuring including cross border, fund restructuring, inbound investments, mergers and tax due diligences of various clients including listed entities.Manohar also has an extensive experience in advising MNCs on various cross border tax issues.

He has advised on tax structuring for companies involved in power generation plant and alternative energy, technology, telecommunication, manufacturing, health care etc. Manohar is a frequent speaker on international tax, direct tax and transfer pricing in various forums.His articles have been published in various journals.

Manohar is a partner in M&A tax practice, based in Bangalore with over 18 years of experience in advising corporates on direct tax matters. He has a wide experience in acquisition structuring, fund structuring, inbound investments, mergers and tax due diligence for various clients including listed entities.

He has advised companies involved in technology, e-commerce, power, and those in infrastructure sectors on tax structuring. Manohar has advised various private equity firms, venture capital firms on their investments in India and on exits from investments in India.

He has presented various papers in conferences/seminars both in India and abroad, and has written articles on various taxation issues in leading international taxation journals.

Manohar is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.


Darryl Kinneally

Darryl Kinneally, Partner, Transaction Tax, Ernst & Young Solutions LLP

Darryl is the lead Partner in the Singapore Transaction Tax Team and has over 30 years collective tax experience in the corporate and big 4 environment. He previously was the Head of Tax for First Pacific company in Hong Kong and a member of the Board of Commissioners of Indofood Sukses  Makmur, (Indofood). He was responsible for leading a team involved in due diligence relating to an acquisition of a 40% stake in Indofood.

He has extensive international tax experience as well as transactions experience, specifically M&A and Infrastructure funding.


Darshana Kadakia

Darshana Kadakia, ACA, became a part of Grant Thornton to develop and enhance the existing valuation practice of the firm. She brings with her over 20 years of extensive valuation experience including business valuations, valuation of intangibles, Valuation for Financial Reporting Purposes, valuation of Investment Portfolio of Private Equity Funds as well as valuation for transactions. He started his career in 2003 in Paris and spent three years working in the local office of Ernst & Young, where he carried out both audit and transaction service assignments. David joined Accuracy on 2005 right after the inception of the company, and has actively taken in its global development over the last 11 years. David specializes in buy and sell side financial due diligence for large Corporates and Private Equity firms, and has directly executed numerous cross-border projects (several US projects, Canada, UK, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Malaysia, China, Australia). As a valuation professional, David has undertaken valuations of businesses; tangible assets & intangible assets like brands, patents, and customer relationships; financial instruments and loan assets to assist clients in their strategic (M&A, litigation support, fund raising, corporate restructuring) and reporting requirements like Purchase Price Allocations and Impairment Analysis as per IFRS and US GAAP and has provided valuation services for component accounting for first time adoption of IFRS.

David Nevin Panna is a Partner at Deloitte India. As a lead Advisory Partner, he is currently responsible for growing and managing Deloitte India’s Valuation Practise in the Northern region of India.

He has more than 22 years of work experience spread across providing valuation advisory, transaction advisory, litigation support & expert witness services, private equity investing, rating opinions, project appraisals and corporate finance. He has performed several roles ranging from business development, brand building, practice management to roles focussed on delivery of valuation & transaction advisory during his career spanning stints with firms like Grant Thornton, Ernst & Young, ICRA (the Moody’s affiliate in India), American Appraisal (leading global valuation firm recently acquired by Duff & Phelps), Strategic Value Partners (a US based Hedge Fund) and SRF (a leading Indian Corporate).

His clients include multi-national corporations, multi-lateral institutions, and Indian companies in the private and public sector and government agencies.
