Promod Nair, Partner, Arista Chambers
Promod is admitted as both an Advocate in India and as a Solicitor Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience in England and Wales. He is a dispute resolution specialist, with extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration. He has appeared as Counsel and Advocate (often as amicus curiae) in a broad range of commercial litigation and public law matters before the Supreme Court of India and the Karnataka, Bombay and New Delhi High Courts.
Promod sits as arbitrator in domestic and international arbitrations. He also has extensive experience in acting as counsel in commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, having conducted arbitrations in various jurisdictions in Europe and Asia, and under various institutional rules such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of Arbitration (LCIA), Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
Promod is a Visiting Professor at the National Law School of India University where he teaches modules on commercial and investment treaty arbitration, and regularly lectures at law schools and universities in India and abroad. He is currently working on a commentary on the law and practice of arbitration in India. Promod holds degrees in law from the National Law School of India and was a DFID-Cambridge Scholar at the University of Cambridge where he was a recipient of the Clive Parry (Overseas) Prize in International Law and the Pegasus Scholarship.
In May 2013, Promod was appointed as a Member of the LCIA Court.

PnP Consulting is an international Forex and Business consulting firm having offices at Hyderabad, Dubai and Singapore and specializes in foreign investment consulting, Foreign Exchange Regulations and Cross Border Mergers and Acquisitions.
He is advisor of several MNC clients in India and abroad on Structuring of Inbound Investments into India and Structuring of Outbound Investments. He has contributed many papers and delivered lectures on the subjects of FEMA and International Finance at various forums in India and abroad.

Rahul Chowdhri is an experienced venture capitalist. He is a partner at Stellaris Venture Partners. Before that, he was a Partner at Helion. He had been part of Helion investment team since 2007. His focus areas included ecommerce, edu-tech and consumer sectors. He was closely involved with investments in Bigbasket, Simplilearn, Livspace, Shopclues, Mysmartprice, Toppr at Helion. Prior to Helion, Rahul has had 9 years of experience working for companies like Microsoft, marketRx, i2 technologies and BCG. He holds an MBA degree from IIM, Calcutta and B. Tech. from IIT, Kanpur.

Over last few years Rahul have personally invested as well as professionally advised startups in various sectors including Enterprise Technology, IT and Research Consulting, SaaS companies, Consumer Internet.
Rahul is currently working as an AVP with Merisis Advisors, a boutique Investment Bank, based out of Mumbai and Bangalore. He look after all Enterprise and Consumer Technology deals from both Fund Raise and M&A product perspective. Prior to this he have spent over 5 years in financial advisory with American Appraisal India – a division of Duff & Phelps in their Mumbai office serving Indian businesses and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services based out of Philadelphia, USA where he successfully performed valuations for various purposes like M&A advisory, regulatory, litigation, purchase accounting and wealth planning for various USA business conglomerates.
In 2010, He co-founded SYOR Group, the only equity research company focused on tracking, analyzing and predicting movements for companies going through bankruptcy event. The research was sold as Subscription service to Hedge Funds and Mutual Funds and gathered lot of traction.
Rahul is MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business and B.Tech in IT from Nirma Institute of Technology, Ahmedabad.
