Anisha Singh, Founder & CEO, mydala.com

Anisha Singh is Founder and CEO of mydala.com, India's first and largest group-buying website and today one of the country's leading online selling portals. Anisha began her career on Capitol Hill working with the Clinton administration helping women entrepreneurs raise funding for innovative women-led businesses. She then worked at Centra Software in Boston before returning to India and setting up, Kinis (Software) Solutions, a provider of customized e-learning solutions. She is currently of the board Indus Women Entrepreneurs, a platform for South Asian women leaders in the US.

Anisha has a Masters degree in political communication, as well as an MBA in Information Systems from American University in Washington DC.


Anita Marangoly George, EVP and Deputy Head, CDPQ

Anita M. George is Executive Vice-President and Deputy Head of CDPQ Global. She fills a key role in developing CDPQ’s activities in its three priority international areas: the United States/Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. She actively participates in positioning CDPQ internationally, as well as developing and executing its globalization strategy. In addition to her role managing the international offices, Ms. George contributes to diversifying the portfolio by taking a holistic view in approaching the various markets. She sits on CDPQ’s Investment-Risk Committee.

Ms. George joined CDPQ in April 2016 as Managing Director, South Asia. She was then appointed as Executive Vice-President, Growth Markets and prior to her current role was Executive Vice-President and Head of Strategic Partnerships, Growth Markets. She has extensive knowledge of several of these markets, in addition to possessing a strong ability to develop and strengthenenduring and quality partnerships.

She has a strong track record in managing infrastructure investment portfolios on a global scale. Prior to joining CDPQ, she was Senior Director of the World Bank’s Energy and Extractive Industries Global Practice. She also held the positions of Director, Infrastructure and Natural Resources of the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, and Head of Siemens Financial Services in India. Her various roles have led her to work in several regions of the world, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

Ms. George holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Smith College, in Massachusetts, and a Masters in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Boston University.


Anjali Bansal, Founding Partner, Avaana Capital

Anjali Bansal is the Founding Partner of Avaana Capital, which manages Avaana Climate and Sustainability Fund - investing in technology and innovation-led start-ups catalysing climate solutions and sustainability and delivering exponential returns. Previously, Anjali has been the Non-Executive Chairperson of Dena Bank, appointed by the Government of India to steer the resolution of the stressed bank, eventually leading to a merger with the Bank of Baroda. Prior to that, Anjali was a Global Partner and Managing Director with TPG Growth PE, responsible for India, SE Asia, Africa and the Middle East. She started her career as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Co. in New York.

Anjali has invested in and mentored various successful start-ups including Delhivery, Urban Company, Darwinbox, Nykaa and Lenskart. She also serves as an independent non-executive director on several leading boards including Tata Power (Chair, Sustainability Committee), Nestle (Member, CSR and Sustainability Committee), and Piramal Enterprises, and chairs the “Climate Council” within Indian Venture Capital Association. She has previously chaired the India board of Women's World Banking, a leading global livelihood-promoting institution and been a board member at GSK Pharma, Siemens, Voltas and Bata.

Anjali is a Member of the Niti Aayog Evolution Review Committee, India’s premier policy think tank chaired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister. She has been appointed on the Expert Advisory Committee for the Start Up India Seed Fund Scheme announced by the Honourable Prime Minister. She is also a member of the Advisory Council for the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), the world’s first open access infrastructure for digital commerce and serves on the CII National Committee on Corporate Governance. She has previously served as President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce, and has co-founded and chaired the FICCI Center for Corporate Governance program for Women on Corporate Boards. She is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and a charter member of TiE. She has been listed as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Indian Business” by India’s leading publications, Business Today, Fortune India and Forbes India.

Anjan Bose, Vice President & Business Head, Philips Healthcare India

Mr.Anjan Bose, Senior Director, Medical Systems, Indian Subcontinent, Philips Electronics India Ltd. He started his career as a Service Engineer with Philips Medical 30 years back and has been in various important functions within Healthcare industry since then. An Electronics & Electrical Communications Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mr.Bose's work experience goes beyond India. He has worked in Europe as Regional Manager, in the Philips Headquarters in Holland and also led organisations like Hewlett-Packard Medical in South Asia and Emerging Markets in Asia. He has played significant leadership roles in developing symbiotic commitment to partnership between Trade, Industry and Healthcare Deliverers. He has successfully participated in many leadership/management programs over the years including the one from Michigan University. Mr. Bose is also a Council Member of the European Business Group.


Anjan Mukherjee, MD, HyCa Technologies

An entrepreneur with more than two & half decades of combined experience in engineering, sales, consultancy and general management. Previously he was the India representative of a Norwegian multinational, has sailed on merchant ships as chief engineer, co-authored a seminal technical book and has a pending patent. He is nominated by the President of India as a member of the planning and academic board of the Indian Maritime University. He is also member of the ports and shipping sector committee of the National Innovation Council.

Presently he is co-founder and managing director of HyCa Technologies Pvt Ltd (www.hycator.com), a world pioneer in the usage of hydrodynamic cavitation technology of which he is a co-inventor.


Anjana Seshadri, ESG Officer, Neev Fund

Anjana has around eleven years of experience in the field of sustainability and ESG and leads Environment Social and Governance for all the Neev portfolio companies.

She has worked at IndusInd Bank in mainstreaming sustainability disclosures, investor led sustainability assessments and Environmental and Social Management framework for corporate banking. She holds a Master’s degree in Planning (specialisation in environment) from School of Planning & Architecture (SPA), New Delhi.


Anjani Sinha, MD, National Spot Exchange Ltd

Anjani Sinha, is a strategist for National Spot Exchange Limited (NSEL), India?s first electronic spot trading platform, and Co-chairman of FICCI ? Agriculture Committee.

Mr. Sinha has over 24 years of experience with deep knowledge of commodity derivatives business and functioning of spot markets. His last stint was with the Ahmedabad Stock Exchange as executive director. Before that, he was associated with the Bombay Commodity Exchange Ltd. as its chief executive officer, during which period he was instrumental in launching futures trading in multiple commodities under the web-enabled screen-based trading system.

Mr. Sinha was also associated with the Interconnected Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (ISE), where he was responsible for expanding its trading terminals across the country. He was also part of the Magadh Stock Exchange as its chief general manager for a period of nine years.

Mr. Sinha, one of the directors on the MCX board, has been a key driver of the company?s business growth.

A chartered accountant and law graduate, Mr. Sinha also holds an MBA and a master?s degree in economics and commerce.

Mr. Sinha has written for a number of prominent financial dailies on topics related to his fields of specialization to spread awareness about commodity ecosystem. His analytical articles have been effective in sending positive vibes across the commodity ecosystem.


Anjuli Sivaramakrishnan, Partner, Kochhar & Co.

Anjuli Sivaramakrishnan is the Partner in charge of the transactional and private equity practice of the Firm. Her practice areas include banking, finance, private equity, mergers, acquisitions, foreign investments and securities laws including structured finance, cross-border financing, project finance, asset backed securitization, regulatory approvals and debt restructuring.

Anjuli has vast experience and expertise in negotiating and preparing project finance documents, structured banking transactions, external commercial borrowings, derivatives, trade credits, syndicated loans, corporate and retail banking documentation. She has advised banks, non baking finance companies and housing finance companies on regulatory and compliance issues and all aspects of structuring and documentation of funded and non funded facilities, creation and enforcement of security interest. She advises clients on issues relating to banking law, foreign direct investment policy, foreign exchange laws and securities law.  

Anjuli has hands on experience in conducting investor due diligences, business restructuring, compliance audits.

Anjuli has substantial experience advising clients from diverse sectors including but not limited to automotive, aviation, energy, financial services, private equity, infrastructure, oil and gas, pharmaceutical real estate and retail.

Anjuli also acts as the lead counsel in India for several multinational companies including numerous Fortune 500 companies such as Areva Renewables, Asian Development Bank, Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Wells Fargo Bank and Weston Solutions Inc. on a host of Indian law issues.

Anjuli regularly authors articles and makes presentations on diverse topics at various fora both internationally and in India.
