Ankit Agarwal, Director, InnoVen Capital

Ankit is a Director at InnoVen Capital India where he is responsible for leading venture debt deals as well as managing the portfolio. He has successfully led numerous Venture Debt transactions across sectors like logistics, technology, financial services, travel, healthcare, and retail. In addition to his lending role, Ankit has led the firm’s initiative to work with seed and angel backed companies and position them for success by providing guidance on funding raising alternatives and connecting with investors, key business partners and peers.

Prior to joining InnoVen India in 2011, Ankit worked with the central Credit Risk Management team at YES Bank in Mumbai and was responsible for due diligence and credit risk evaluation of early stage companies. He started his career as a credit analyst with ICICI Bank.

Ankit holds a PGDM from IMT Ghaziabad and a Bachelor's in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata. Ankit is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Company Secretary (ICSI). He is an avid backpacker and a music junkie, loves photography and is always up to debate new ideas.

Ankit Agarwal, Global Head - Telecom Products, Sterlite Technologies Ltd

Ankit Agarwal heads the Telecom Products division at Sterlite Technologies. This includes the Optic Fiber, Optic Fiber cable, Fiber connectivity and Copper cable products.

He has been instrumental in expanding the global footprint of the Telecom business by successfully executing and managing Joint Ventures in China and Brazil. In addition to Join Ventures, he is also responsible for executing strategic opportunities such as Mergers and Acquisitions and Greenfield projects globally for Sterlite.

Prior to Sterlite, Ankit led the Corporate Strategy of Vedanta Resources and played a key role in Vedanta’s strategic transactions including its $8.6 billion acquisition of Cairn India, and $2.6 billion bid for ASARCO.  As an Analyst at the Investment Banking division of Deutsche Bank (London) prior to his stint at Vedanta, he played a significant role in cross-border transactions such as Tata Steel’s acquisition of Corus for US$12 billion & Eurasian Natural Resources $2.7 billion IPO.

Ankit also has an active interest in the Angel investment space and is a member of Indian Angel Network and LetsVenture. He has currently invested in 8 startups including POSist, ShepHertz, Freshworld etc.

Ankit holds a Bachelors degree from University of Southern California and an MBA degree from London Business School.

Ankit Agrawal, Co-Founder and CEO, Insurance Dekho

Ankit Agrawal is the CEO and Co-founder of InsuranceDekho, the leading Insurtech in India. Launched in 2017, InsuranceDekho has achieved rapid growth, with the company growing 2x every year. The Gurgaon based company has 90,000+ advisor partners across 1370+ cities covering 98% pin codes in India. With 410+ insurance plans in tie-up with 46 insurance companies, InsuranceDekho is on its way to revolutionize the way India buys and sells insurance.

Ankit is also the recipient of several awards including being a part of the coveted BusinessWorld 40 under 40 list for year 2022.

In order to move closer to its vision of insuring every Indian, InsuranceDekho recently raised $150Mn in Series A funding from marquee investors like Goldman Sachs, TVS Capital and LeapFrog Investments; this is the largest Insurtech Series A funding in South East Asia.

A Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, and a graduate from the Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi, Ankit worked for three years in the US before returning to India. Post returning, Ankit was associated with the technology industry as a part of Anand Rathi Advisors. Here, he developed an interest in startups and soon joined MoveInSync, a leading employee transport solutions startup in the country.

Ankit has set up and exponentially grown the Insurance business at CarDekho, with InsuranceDekho being formed in 2019 as a separate entity. InsuranceDekho has today become a leading player and an integral voice of the Indian Insurtech industry.

Ankit is passionate about startups and actively supports new businesses & founders in all ways possible; he’s an active angel investor having invested in several high-impact ventures. Outside of work, he enjoys playing with his son and cooking food for the family. Being an avid reader, he reads at least eight books a month. Ankit firmly believes education is the greatest leveler in anybody’s life. He coaches the children of his house help and driver because he feels education is the greatest gift to impart.

Ankit Bengani, Principal & Director, Marwar Capital

Ankit is the Principal & Director at Marwar Capital, where he leads the global investment efforts for the family. Marwar Capital is the single-family investment office of the Bengani Group and as a family office it’s been investing into Indian alternatives markets since 1998 and since 2009 have been gradually investing in funds selectively in US & Asian markets. The family owned business conglomerate has a continued history of over a century in conducting businesses across various sectors worldwide, while adhering to the highest standards of trust, ethics & integrity. Prior to Marwar, Ankit spent over 14 years gaining knowledge in the financial & capital markets by working with firms like Samena Capital as head of global fund raising, Motilal Oswal as head of international business and Kotak Investment Banking. Ankit holds a Finance degree from H. R. College of Commerce, Mumbai and post-graduate degree in Business Management from University of Mumbai. Ankit is been active in various social & philanthropic interests of the family, while also assisting in the education and healthcare focussed welfare activities in rural Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Ankit Bhatnagar, Head of Product, Mswipe

Ankit has over 15 years of experience in BFSI and specialises in Banking Technology Management. He has worked across Banking and Fintech Industry in several roles across Business, Product Development and Project Management. He co-founded Payso, a Payments Fintech Company specializing in QR Payments which was acqui-hired by Mwipe. He also led the Product and Innovation, Transaction Banking Group at Kotak Mahindra Bank as the Vice President.

Ankit Kejriwal, Partner-Corporate, Trilegal

Ankit Kejriwal is part of the corporate practice group specialising in private equity transactions as well as public mergers and acquisitions. He has advised on some of the largest and most complex mergers and acquisitions in India, including several takeover offers, mergers/demergers/slump sales involving listed companies and private equity investments.

Ankit has extensive experience in advising private equity funds and strategic investors on foreign investment regulations in India, their entry and exit strategies and concerns that characterise deal-making and negotiating with Indian promoters/sellers.

Ankit Khanna, Sr.Vice President- Product, Snapdeal.com

Ankit Khanna is the Senior Vice President - Product Management at Snapdeal.com. He has been an integral part of Snapdeal ever since its inception and was responsible for developing the ‘product’ as a whole. He is now leading their payment product among others. Prior to joining Snapdeal, Ankit co-founded itasveer.com, an online photo printing and personalized merchandise service based in India. An IIT Delhi graduate, Ankit has also worked in the corporate sector for two years and dabbled in software engineering before moving on to the online space. 

In his new role, Ankit is the Chief Product Officer of FreeCharge and laying the foundation for No1 payments company in the country. He is leading various consumer and merchant initiatives at FreeCharge.
