Anirudh Prabhakaran, Angel investor, Indian Angel Network
Anirudh P has over 21 years experience in the technology industry (IT and telecom). He has been involved in several roles during the last 21 years incl brand management, marketing, product management, delivery and operations, channel, business development, besides leading/turning around several businesses successfully. He has directly set up or run businesses involving IT services, IT software products and BPO. He has handled several mergers & acquisitions during his career. He has operated in several markets incl the US, Asia Pacific and India.
Anirudh has worked with Wipro, Cable & Wireless and 3i Infotech. He has led large teams and have mentored several of his managers to move to senior roles in various organizations. His experience spans several verticals incl BFSI, telecom, manufacturing, healthcare and energy. He believes that while education has brought India to a strong position in the global market, the movement to next level would be accelerated with education reforms and hence, he is keenly interested in the education sector. His other interests lie in energy and environment, and use of technology to bring about endemic changes. He believes that with operational excellence, even "not-so-great" ideas could be made successful while even the best ideas would struggle without operational efficiencies. He is keenly studying organizational cultures and the impact on the success of the organization.
He was a member of the board of directors at 3i Infotech and was the Chairman of Locuz, an IT services company. He is a mechanical engineer from BITS, Pilani, with a management degree from IIM, Calcutta and is also an AMP from Harvard Business School.
Anirudh Rastogi, Founder and Managing Partner, Ikigai Law
Anirudh is the founder of Ikigai Law, an award-winning law that works with leading, global-technology companies and startups. Ikigai Law was named one of Asia’s best law firms to work for by Asian Law Business and Law Firm of the Year (Mid-Size) by Idex Legal.
Named “Achiever of the Year 2017” by Business World magazine and a “pioneer” by the Economic Times, Anirudh advised on the setup of India’s first crypto-exchanges and represented them before the Supreme Court in their successful challenge to the RBI ban, advised on the India-leg of the Matic token offering and on the setup of some of earliest NFT marketplaces.
In addition to being a visiting faculty at IIM-Indore, he has also authored a book on Cyber Laws. He has graduated from Harvard Law School and National Law Institute University and is a TedX speaker.
Anirudh. A. Damani, Managing Partner, Artha Venture Fund
Mr. Anirudh Damani brings over ten years of energy experience and procuring energy customers. He owns Artha Energy Resources, an energy consultancy firm and is responsible for adding over 2 billion kWh worth of energy. He has set up a consultancy firm for facilitating investments into power projects across geographies and asset classes like wind, solar, hydro and bio-power. Apart from energy projects, Mr. Damani is an active angel investor and has held investments in several emerging startups including Oyo Rooms, Exotel, Inc42, Mobilewalla and Roadhouse Hostels.

Anish Bafna, CEO and MD, Healthium Medtech
Anish Bafna took over as the CEO & Managing Director of the Healthium Group in August, 2018, when he returned to India with the dream of creating India’s most trusted Medtech company and Healthium was formed under his aegis as an amalgamation of three companies:
- The Erstwhile Sutures India Ltd , Quality Needles, the largest independent manufacturer of surgical suture needles in the world and Clinisupplies, the second largest brand of urology products in the United Kingdom.
Under Anish’s leadership, Healthium has undergone a transformational journey on quality, compliance and R & D and is now present in 70 countries across the globe and 500 districts in India with a strong team of 2700 employees.
Anish with the Healthium team, has pursued the “Atmanirbhar Bharat “agenda by promoting indigenous technology and Innovation. Under his aegis, Healthium owns 55 patents in India and U.S including those applied for. The manufacturing facilities have also continued the thrust on high quality with 510K (USFDA), CE and ISO approvals.
During the Lockdown, under his guidance, the facilities have continued production to ensure continued supply of essential medical devices for emergency surgeries. Trushield, India’s 1st anti-microbial gloves was manufactured and launched during this period. Sironix range of Arthroscopy products for shoulder and knee were created and launched to fill market need gaps using patented functional designs to simplify lives for surgeons and better patient outcomes, under his aegis.
Anish‘s career spans 27 years with a strong focus on the Healthcare and devices sector, with stints in multiple countries. In his last assignment, he was President Japan, for Baxter International.
In his earlier stints, he served as the Regional Head- Emerging Asia at Baxter in Singapore, overseeing the operations of India and South East Asia from 2015 to 2017.
Anish along with his family have lived in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Singapore and Japan before relocating to India. He has a proven track record of building sustainable and profitable businesses, with a strong focus on continuous business improvement.
Anish plays tennis, is an avid reader and likes to delve in history.
Anish Sanghvi, Partner, Price Waterhouse & Co LLP
Anish is a partner in Price Waterhouse & Co LLP and focusses on income-tax and regulatory matters.
Anish advises MNC and domestic clients on Indian and international tax, inbound investment advisory and corporate tax (with a focus on real estate, infrastructure and Private Equity funds), helps them put in place investment structures, enter joint ventures, reorganise their business and conduct tax due diligence. Anish also advises on exchange control regulations, corporate and other regulatory laws. He is also been actively involved in advising private equity and venture capital fund clients on structuring their pooling vehicles, including conducting jurisdiction analyses and structuring and reviewing documents.
He has wide experience in advising real estate and infrastructure clients on evaluation of joint development agreements and advising on EPC contracts as well as in restructuring their groups and M&A transactions (e.g., funding profit extraction strategies and obtaining regulatory approvals).
Anish is a Commerce graduate and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Anisha Singh, Founder & CEO, mydala.com
Anisha Singh is Founder and CEO of mydala.com, India's first and largest group-buying website and today one of the country's leading online selling portals. Anisha began her career on Capitol Hill working with the Clinton administration helping women entrepreneurs raise funding for innovative women-led businesses. She then worked at Centra Software in Boston before returning to India and setting up, Kinis (Software) Solutions, a provider of customized e-learning solutions. She is currently of the board Indus Women Entrepreneurs, a platform for South Asian women leaders in the US.
Anisha has a Masters degree in political communication, as well as an MBA in Information Systems from American University in Washington DC.
Anita Marangoly George, EVP and Deputy Head, CDPQ
Anita M. George is Executive Vice-President and Deputy Head of CDPQ Global. She fills a key role in developing CDPQ’s activities in its three priority international areas: the United States/Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific. She actively participates in positioning CDPQ internationally, as well as developing and executing its globalization strategy. In addition to her role managing the international offices, Ms. George contributes to diversifying the portfolio by taking a holistic view in approaching the various markets. She sits on CDPQ’s Investment-Risk Committee.
Ms. George joined CDPQ in April 2016 as Managing Director, South Asia. She was then appointed as Executive Vice-President, Growth Markets and prior to her current role was Executive Vice-President and Head of Strategic Partnerships, Growth Markets. She has extensive knowledge of several of these markets, in addition to possessing a strong ability to develop and strengthenenduring and quality partnerships.
She has a strong track record in managing infrastructure investment portfolios on a global scale. Prior to joining CDPQ, she was Senior Director of the World Bank’s Energy and Extractive Industries Global Practice. She also held the positions of Director, Infrastructure and Natural Resources of the International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank Group, and Head of Siemens Financial Services in India. Her various roles have led her to work in several regions of the world, including Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Ms. George holds a BA in Economics and Spanish from Smith College, in Massachusetts, and a Masters in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Boston University.
Anjali Bansal, Founding Partner, Avaana Capital
Anjali Bansal is the Founding Partner of Avaana Capital, which manages Avaana Climate and Sustainability Fund - investing in technology and innovation-led start-ups catalysing climate solutions and sustainability and delivering exponential returns. Previously, Anjali has been the Non-Executive Chairperson of Dena Bank, appointed by the Government of India to steer the resolution of the stressed bank, eventually leading to a merger with the Bank of Baroda. Prior to that, Anjali was a Global Partner and Managing Director with TPG Growth PE, responsible for India, SE Asia, Africa and the Middle East. She started her career as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Co. in New York.
Anjali has invested in and mentored various successful start-ups including Delhivery, Urban Company, Darwinbox, Nykaa and Lenskart. She also serves as an independent non-executive director on several leading boards including Tata Power (Chair, Sustainability Committee), Nestle (Member, CSR and Sustainability Committee), and Piramal Enterprises, and chairs the “Climate Council” within Indian Venture Capital Association. She has previously chaired the India board of Women's World Banking, a leading global livelihood-promoting institution and been a board member at GSK Pharma, Siemens, Voltas and Bata.
Anjali is a Member of the Niti Aayog Evolution Review Committee, India’s premier policy think tank chaired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister. She has been appointed on the Expert Advisory Committee for the Start Up India Seed Fund Scheme announced by the Honourable Prime Minister. She is also a member of the Advisory Council for the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), the world’s first open access infrastructure for digital commerce and serves on the CII National Committee on Corporate Governance. She has previously served as President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce, and has co-founded and chaired the FICCI Center for Corporate Governance program for Women on Corporate Boards. She is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and a charter member of TiE. She has been listed as one of the “Most Powerful Women in Indian Business” by India’s leading publications, Business Today, Fortune India and Forbes India.
