Ankit Moorjani, Associate, Investment Operations, Lightbox

An avid risk taker, Ankit has an eclectic background across technology, finance and entrepreneurship.

Ankit graduated with a degree in electronics engineering from the University of Mumbai and has cleared all 3 levels of the CFA. After graduating from college he was recruited at Deloitte Consulting where he had his first encounter with technology. Having implemented multiple tech solutions & ERPs across Fortune 500 financial institutions, he was naturally drawn to the field of finance and found his way into equity research at JP Morgan covering insurance and healthcare sectors for the APAC region. Always a problem solver and entrepreneur at heart, Ankit finally took the plunge in 2015 and co-founded his first venture, Grabstr Technologies. Grabstr was an app-based local discovery platform that helped local businesses market their services and users find new opportunities around them. Ankit headed business development and finance at Grabstr and learnt the art of sales the good old fashioned way – knocking from door-to-door.

After Grabstr ran its course, he took the skills he learnt and went on to co-found The Superfood Co., retailing healthy snacks. Ankit helped scale the business for 1.5 years heading sales and business development with reach all across Mumbai and parts of Western India. After exiting the company in 2018, he drew on his entrepreneurial experience and passion for investing and landed in the VC world. Drawing from his background and experience, Ankit loves spending time around new ideas and passionate entrepreneurs. His day is split between working with portfolio companies, discovering new ideas and financially analysing prospective startups. In his free time, Ankit loves swimming, politics and stand-up comedy. His love for adventure sports has currently drawn him to scuba diving, where he is looking to complete his advanced certification.

Ankit Oberoi, Co-founder & CEO, AdPushup

"Ankit is a co-founder and CEO at AdPushup, a product which helps web publishers - test and optimize their online ad revenues.

Previously, he dropped out of college and co-founded Innobuzz, an Information Security training company. Apart from work, he loves to travel in the mountains and is obsessed with learning new languages."

Ankit Prasad, CEO & Co-Founder, Bobble App / Touchtalent

Ankit Prasad studied Mathematics and Computing at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He dropped out in the final year to pursue his interest at Touchtalent. He swiped almost all major student awards during his stay at IIT Delhi including Best Fresher Award, Best Hostel Representative Award, Best Chief Editor Award, Cumulative contribution to Board for Student Publication award etc. Apart from these awards, he has many more awards to his credit; He was finalist at TiE International Business Plan Competition representing Touchtalent, Kairos Fellow for the year 2012-2013 and Global Student Entrepreneurship Award, South Asia 2013. He is also an official TEDx youth speaker.

Ankit was always interested in Technology; He wrote his first program at the age of 6 and got appreciation from the district collector. Incorporated and made his first technology company profitable at the age of 16. During his stay at IIT Delhi, he was associated with number of technology start-ups.

At Touchtalent, Ankit is responsible for product and engineering. He along with his team is working on the most modern technology to create unique user experience. Some of the technology initiatives taken by Ankit at Touchtalent are one of its kind in India, never tried and experimented before.

Through technology Ankit wants to democratize high quality content creation and address the most complex problems of content creators. Bobble App is yet another step taken by Ankit in this direction.

In his free time Ankit loves to create short videos. He has to his credits many viral videos that have been appreciated by global media.

Ankit Pruthi, Founder & CEO, Unicommerce

Ankit Pruthi, CEO of Unicommerce, is a graduate from IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad. He has over 10 years of work experience in Finance, Product and Technology. Prior to Unicommerce, he was associated with Estee advisors and Goldman Sachs in field of Finance and Technology. Before his MBA, Ankit worked with Qwest Communications (a US telecom giant) in product and technology team developing order management system for ecommerce arm. His entrepreneurial tilt and technology interests motivated him to start Unicommerce with his IIT batch-mates in 2012.

Ankit Samdariya, CEO, The Hive Collaborative Workspaces

Ankit Samdariya is CEO at The Hive, a collaborative work-space platform backed by the Xander Group. He is passionate about design thinking, the future of work-spaces, technology and community building. 

Previously as Vice President – Investments & Asset Management at Virtuous Retail South Asia, Ankit was instrumental in building a 5.5 Million sq.ft community-centric lifestyle shopping centres portfolio spanning across 5 cities in India. He has been with the Xander Group since 2013, and has advised the group on strategic initiatives and investments across real estate asset classes.

Prior to his MBA, Ankit worked with Royal Dutch Shell across the US, Netherlands, Malaysia and Singapore in its internal strategy consulting division. Later, he worked with International Finance Corporation in Delhi, and with Denham Capital in Houston advising on global energy and infrastructure investments.
Ankit is an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) - Delhi.

Ankit Sarwahi, Partner, MEVP

Ankit Sarwahi is Partner at MEVP and has over 18 years of experience in Venture Capital and Financial Services. During the past 12 years, Ankit has invested in early stage technology companies in India and in MENA. At MEVP his portfolio cuts across consumer internet startups such as Nana, breakthrough Fintech platforms such as Xare, and wholistic B2B2C platforms such as MamoPay.

Prior to MEVP, Ankit was part of Founding team of Boson Ventures which was his debut stint in the Middle East. Prior to that Ankit was Vice President of Capital18, a specialist VC-fund HQed in New Delhi and focused on mobile, media and entertainment.

Ankit Sood, Chief Financial Officer, Kraftly

The Chief Financial Officer of Kraftly, Mr. Ankit Sood, had over 8 years of experience before he joined Kraftly. After completing his graduation from Purdue University and Post graduation from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, he joined CITI as Senior Summer Associate - Investment Banking. He had been the Associate Vice President for Anand Rathi Private Wealth Ltd.  from May 2008 – July 2011 and for Avendus Advisors from June 2011 – August 2014. He has a thorough expertise in the field of Financial Modeling, Business Strategy, Valuation, Strategy, Business Analysis, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Capital Markets, Team Management, Corporate Finance, E-commerce and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Ankita Sheth, Co- founder and Head of Partnerships, Vista Rooms | @vista_rooms

A passionate 32 year old entrepreneur with 8 years of experience with both startups and established companies. She did her Post graduation from Mumbai Educational Trust (MET) and has worked with organizations such as Stanton Chase ( Global Executive Search firm) and Boston Analytics (Analytics firm). She also had started her own venture, Providence World, which was an executive search firm with clientele such as KAV & Co Mondelez, Boston Analytics, Jardin Lylod Thompson etc. She also did a short stint with United Nations.

Ankita had successfully executed the Mumbai operations of Oyo Rooms as the head of acquisitions and she was part of the core team and had played a pivotal role in its success. A culturally strong woman with hardbound ideals, she was an innate part of India Against Corruption campaign and has also played an active role in Anna Hazare’s Movement. She is an active member of a NGO- Young Volunteer Organization (YVO).
