Tara S Ganguly, Chairman & CEO, Tara International

Mr.Tara S. Ganguly, born in1942, went to USA after his schooling at Darjeeling, to do his degree in Engineering and Management. He has bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania University, Philadelphia, and a post graduate degree in Management Engineering from Colombia University,New york City.
 
After 10 years stay in USA working with Du Point Corporation etc., he returned to India to join his family business Bengal Enamel as production Planning Engineer, Works Manager and ultimately Managing Director.

His interest in renewable energy started in1983 and he had erected and commissioned over 100 MW of wind power in the Southern India. His experience also covers solar energy,biomass and waste energy.

Mr. Tara S. Ganguly is commited to a green planet and his passion is to replace fossil fuel burnt vehicles with green vehicles to make this planet more sustainable for human beings.


Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Deputy General Manager, KidZania India

Tarandeep is the DGM Marketing of KidZania India, a global indoor theme park that inspires, educates, and empowers kids, by helping them understand and manage their world better. Tarandeep joined the organization in December 2015.

Tarandeep is an alumnus of the MMK college and has a MBA Degree in Retail Management and Marketing from The ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai where he was awarded the Dean’s Award for Top honours in Academic Excellence.

With over a decade of experience in marketing, Tarandeep has immense expertise in a wide spectrum of roles. Tarandeep started his career with EsselWorld in 2002, and was then heading marketing for Fame Cinemas in 2006 where he successfully launched 15 new multiplexes across the country. He then chartered a path in a senior role in marketing and business development for – EsselWorld, Water Kingdom and was instrumental for brand extension and launch of FEC Downtown EsselWorld, before taking over as a Deputy General Manager at KidZania India.

His role at KidZania is defining and executing Marketing strategy for short and long term period. His responsibilities include Brand & Communication management, Media management, Digital Strategy, Pricing and product management, alliances, public relations and social media, all aimed at building affinity through advertising and marketing for campaigns. He is responsible for driving family retail visitation to the parks and positioning KidZania as the preferred destination across TG families (with kids between 2 to 14 yrs) and schools.

Tarandeep also played a key role for the launch of KidZania Delhi NCR in May 2016. Tarandeep has been instrumental in forming national alliances with brands contributing to brand awareness and increased visitation.  KidZania India has won 3 marketing awards - Exchange 4 Media’s INK Award and IAAPI awards for best marketing campaigns; which were developed and executed by in-house marketing team under Tarandeep’s leadership.

Tarandeep is a movie buff and loves cricket. He resides with his wife in Mumbai.


Tarun Arora, Director Finance & Operations, IG International Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Tarun Arora - Director - Finance and Operations The younger scion of the Arora family leads the young corporate team with his innovative and modern outlook,An Indian Business tycoon who is the Director of IG International Pvt ltd & Sanvi International guiding the company through diversification and growth to emerge as one of the Indian leaders in the fresh fruit industry. Tarun with business in his blood was groomed by his father Mr. G.C Arora (Chairman, IG International Pvt. Ltd.) at a very early age, he has travelled across the globe and has acquired diploma in private equity at “Harvard Business School” with MBA from MIT School of business. With more than a decade of experience in fresh produce industry, Tarun understood the need of developing end to end cold supply chain wherein he incorporated, IG Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd consisting of temperature-controlled warehouses holding a capacity of 20,000 pallets across nine facilities and plans to double this capacity to 40,000 pallets. In addition to the cold stores, IG Supply Chain operates a fleet of 70 trucks, out of which 50 are reefer trucks with trailers to ship product from ports to markets to plug any gap in the cold chain. Thus, Tarun is completely living upto the vision of IG International Pvt. Ltd. -  "An Indian company with the Global Outlook"

Tarun Bhatia is managing director at Kroll based in India. He has over 15 years of extensive experience in evaluating, measuring and monitoring risks across corporate India. He has considerable understanding of the Indian financial sector and is a well-regarded industry expert in corporate finance, financial services and structured finance. Tarun’s diverse client roster includes conglomerates, large steel and cement commodity players, and companies across sectors such as energy, oil & gas, infrastructure, real estate, textile, automotive and financial services.

Tarun Davda, Director, Matrix Partners

Tarun has operating experience across a variety of functional areas including strategy, operations, marketing, business development and product management. He's been around the block a few times and this has given him a deep appreciation of what it takes to create and run a successful Internet business in India.

Prior to joining Matrix, Tarun was the India Country Manager and Board Member at StepOut.com, a venture-backed startup. Under his leadership, StepOut became India's #1 online dating site with over 4 Million users. He setup the India operations, built the team, transformed the product and brand to suit the Indian market and eventually took it to a stage where it could be monetized. StepOut was acquired by IAC / Match.com (NASDAQ:IACI) in September 2013

Before that, Tarun established BigRock.com (incubated by the Directi group) - India's #1 provider of domain name registration and other web services. As business head, he built the business ground-up including setting up the product, striking important offline partnerships, running a hugely successful TV-ad campaign and scaling the team. BigRock and other Directi entities were acquired by Endurance International (NASDAQ:EIGI) for $100M in January 2014.

Tarun started his career as a developer at Infosys where he was responsible for providing IT consulting and outsourcing services to Fortune-100 US clients. During this time, he gained extensive business development experience in the North American market and was instrumental in winning and executing a $25 Million deal.

Tarun is an MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad and an Engineer from VJTI, Bombay. When he's not working with entrepreneurs or answering his 7-year-old son's endless questions, Tarun likes to read, spend time with his friends, sketch and occasionally enjoys a game of table-tennis. Tarun Katial is responsible for steering ZEE5, India’s largest ConTech brand, towards gaining an industry leadership position. Considered one of the most successful executives in the Indian media industry, Katial is also a TEDx speaker, he was recently elected as the Chairman of IAMAI’s Digital Entertainment Committee and was the Chairperson for DMAsia 2019. 

Tarun has an established record of accomplishment through popular shows like - KBC - Who wants to be a Millionaire - Lets make a deal India, a slew of daily fiction content at STAR and Indian Idol | Fear Factor | Fame Academy | Ugly Betty at SET. These shows have been in perfect tune with what captivates the Indian consumer.

An MBA-graduate, Tarun began his career with Saatchi & Saatchi, Enterprise Nexus Lowe and Ogilvy & Mather. Pursuant to this, he moved to Star Network and rose to become the Head of Content and Communications across the network in India before moving to Sony Entertainment Television as Business Head. Prior to joining ZEE5, Tarun was the Founder COO-CEO at BIG FM.

He has been voted as NewsCorp Achiever for Asia and included among the best in the ‘India Today 30 on 30’ list. He was also part of the team that won the first Media Gold at Cannes.

Tarun is a partner with cx partners and has been with the firm since its inception in 2009. CX partners is a growth oriented mid market focused PE fund.

Within the fund Tarun focuses on the consumer sector and has led investments in businesses like Barbeque nation, sapphire foods and Mrs Bectors foods.


Tarun Krishnamurthy, Senior Director - Engineering, Mcafee

Tarun Krishnamurthy is the Senior Director Engineering at McAfee India Center (MIC). He heads the engineering of security products in the Data Center unit focusing on optimized technology for virtual & public cloud environment. He has been instrumental in building the big data analytics solution around real-time intelligence of McAfee products, performance and usage.

He is a founding member of McAfee, India since 2002. He has been instrumental in the setup and establishment of the center, maturing it to one that innovates, engineers and supports nearly all of McAfee's products. He has pioneered several engineering and process practices to mature multiple engineering centers, built a few version 1.0 products and headed India site operations for over 3 years.

He comes with over 19 years of experience spanning areas of Enterprise software, Identity Management, Application Management, Workflow Management, B2B frameworks, Web servers. He has driven strategic programs by bringing together globally distributed, multi-functional engineering and non-engineering teams. Tarun has also led global teams for identifying centers in India, China, Vietnam, Chile, Costa Rica and Argentina. He has also set up the Mobile Engineering center in China for McAfee.

Prior to McAfee, Tarun worked in the US and Australia with Borland and in India with Aspect (I2), Aztec Software and Sun Microsystems.

He holds a B.E. from Bangalore University and an M.S. from the University of South Dakota, USA; both of them in Computer Science; and an Executive Certificate in International Management from Stanford University and National University of Singapore.
