Tanushree Bagrodia, CFO & VP- IT, NRB Bearings

A computer engineer and an INSEAD MBA graduate, Tanushree Bagrodia is a global finance professional with experience of diverse cultures, businesses and leading organizations in different roles. She has worked as an investment banker in London with diverse banks such as HVB (now Unicredit), Merrill Lynch and KBC Financial Products, executing some of the world’s ‘first of their kind’ transactions across multiple countries and sectors before returning to India in 2010 to join IDFC. Not only has she been an advisor in M&As but also lived through an acquisition and post-merger integration. She has experienced M&As from valuation, value creation and sustainability point of view.

Since 2013, she has been the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President - I.T of NRB Bearings Limited, a Rs. 700+ Crores company. Despite being amongst the youngest CFOs, she has been ranked amongst the top 100 CFOs in the country for 2 consecutive years. She held the position of Co - Chair of the Indian Merchant Chamber’s Corporate Governance Committee in 2011, and is an invitee member of CII’s National Committee of CFO’s. She has been invited by Oracle, Deutsche Bank, M&M and various educational institutes such as Thakur College of Management, Thadomal Shahni Engineering College, Jai Hind College, VESIT, ICAI to speak on varied topics from risk management & digital transformation to women empowerment and leadership.


Tanvi Malik, Co-founder, FabAlley

Tanvi is an Economics graduate from Delhi’s Lady Shriram College, followed up with an MBA in Brand Management from MICA Ahmedabad. Her interest in branding and marketing led her to Titan, where she was a Brand & Product Manager for high-end watches before quitting to start her dream project, an inclusive, accessible and fashion-forward brand for Indian women – FabAlley, and later Indya. She spearheads design, marketing, product and communication for the company.


Tapan K. Meshram, Sr Investment Officer, State General Reserve Fund, Ministry of Finance, Oman

Tapan has been involved in private equity and venture capital since the late 90’s. Currently at State General Reserve Fund (SGRF), the sovereign wealth fund of Sultanate of Oman, he is managing direct investments in UK, Central and Eastern Europe. He is a Director on the board of companies in UK, Netherlands, Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria, etc. He also advises and sits on the Investment committee of SGRF’s private equity fund JV’s in several geographies including Vietnam. Prior to SGRF, Tapan spent a considerable time as Vice President for investments in metals and chemicals sector at Gulf Investment Corporation, Kuwait, one of the oldest investment holding companies established in 1983 and held equally by the six GCC countries.

Tapan gained operational experience while working for GE, Unilever and previously also managed the Funds and PE investments portfolio for Emirates Bank International, Dubai. He first entered the world of investments by accident when as an entrepreneur along with his IITian buddies he sold his Indian information security company to a venture capitalist in the US. Since then he has managed over USD 1 billion in equity investments.

Tapan holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT- Delhi and an MBA from FMS- Delhi University.


Tapan Kumar Das, CEO, iTiffin.in

Tapan started itiifin.in along with Ryan Fernando in the year 2013. He was Vice-President of Flipkart.com during early stage of flipkart.com growth, Founding executive of YLG. He is also Director of Qua Nutrition, which consults celebs on diet and plans, based in Bangalore, India.

Tapan was part of the initial team of YLG , setting up 20 nos of Salon and Spas retail outlets in Bangalore   and  was additional charge of Supply chain Management and Product development apart from Core Finance  and Investor relation .

Previously, he was Vice President of Flipkart.com worked with start-up team during Fund raising process of series A, B and C in the year 2010 and 2011.  Tapan was responsible for Investor relation, Accounts, Finance, admin and IT process .

Tapan has over 15  years of experience in start- ups ,E-commerce, Retail ,  finance, business development, supply chain and strategic planning in the industries of E-commerce , retail, wellness industry - product and service  and He was part of startup ventures like Health and Glow , Indian Terrain , YLG , Flipkart.com and Qua Nutrition . He is a Chartered Accountant, and IIM-A alumnus.


Tapan Singhel, MD and CEO, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance

Tapan Singhel has a rich experience in the insurance industry of more than 25 years and has been heading Bajaj Allianz General Insurance for 7 years. He has won numerous accolades, to name a few, ‘Personality of the Year’ at the India Insurance Summit & Awards 2019, 22nd Asia Insurance Industry Awards 2018 and Indian Insurance Summit 2017. He was featured as ‘LinkedIn Top Voice in India’ in 2018 and has been recognized as the ‘Most Promising Business Leader’ of Asia at The Economic Times Global Business Summit 2018.

Tara Prasad Mohapatra, Chairman & CEO, Asian Health Alliance

Mr. Mohapatra is the promoter & CEO of Asian Healthcare Alliance- A hospital management company and Asian Health Meter- a diagnostic chain in lower tier towns.

He is also the founder promoter and director of  Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai,  a 200 bedded super specialty cardiac hospital. After a very successful corporate career both in India & Overseas, Mr. Mohapatra returned to India in 2001 and participated in AHI along with Dr Panda and few other doctor promoters. Right from planning, execution and infrastructure development of AHI was under the leadership of Mr Mohapatra. Thereafter,   Mr. Mohapatra continued in AHI as COO and has achieved very healthy financial and operational performance.

While he continues to play active strategic role in AHI, Mr Mohapatra has been passionately involved in developing a network of diagnostic centres in the brand name of Asian Health Meter in lower tier towns extending its reach to rural in a Hub & Spoke model.

Tara Prasad brings over 25 years of management and technology experience, both in India and abroad where he has been responsible for Industrial Automation business.  Mr. Mohapatra has received his degree in Electrical Engineering from the Regional Engineering College (now National Institute of Technology), Rourkela and subsequently undergone management program in ABB Zurich.


Tara S Ganguly, Chairman & CEO, Tara International

Mr.Tara S. Ganguly, born in1942, went to USA after his schooling at Darjeeling, to do his degree in Engineering and Management. He has bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania University, Philadelphia, and a post graduate degree in Management Engineering from Colombia University,New york City.
 
After 10 years stay in USA working with Du Point Corporation etc., he returned to India to join his family business Bengal Enamel as production Planning Engineer, Works Manager and ultimately Managing Director.

His interest in renewable energy started in1983 and he had erected and commissioned over 100 MW of wind power in the Southern India. His experience also covers solar energy,biomass and waste energy.

Mr. Tara S. Ganguly is commited to a green planet and his passion is to replace fossil fuel burnt vehicles with green vehicles to make this planet more sustainable for human beings.


Tarandeep Singh Sekhon, Deputy General Manager, KidZania India

Tarandeep is the DGM Marketing of KidZania India, a global indoor theme park that inspires, educates, and empowers kids, by helping them understand and manage their world better. Tarandeep joined the organization in December 2015.

Tarandeep is an alumnus of the MMK college and has a MBA Degree in Retail Management and Marketing from The ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai where he was awarded the Dean’s Award for Top honours in Academic Excellence.

With over a decade of experience in marketing, Tarandeep has immense expertise in a wide spectrum of roles. Tarandeep started his career with EsselWorld in 2002, and was then heading marketing for Fame Cinemas in 2006 where he successfully launched 15 new multiplexes across the country. He then chartered a path in a senior role in marketing and business development for – EsselWorld, Water Kingdom and was instrumental for brand extension and launch of FEC Downtown EsselWorld, before taking over as a Deputy General Manager at KidZania India.

His role at KidZania is defining and executing Marketing strategy for short and long term period. His responsibilities include Brand & Communication management, Media management, Digital Strategy, Pricing and product management, alliances, public relations and social media, all aimed at building affinity through advertising and marketing for campaigns. He is responsible for driving family retail visitation to the parks and positioning KidZania as the preferred destination across TG families (with kids between 2 to 14 yrs) and schools.

Tarandeep also played a key role for the launch of KidZania Delhi NCR in May 2016. Tarandeep has been instrumental in forming national alliances with brands contributing to brand awareness and increased visitation.  KidZania India has won 3 marketing awards - Exchange 4 Media’s INK Award and IAAPI awards for best marketing campaigns; which were developed and executed by in-house marketing team under Tarandeep’s leadership.

Tarandeep is a movie buff and loves cricket. He resides with his wife in Mumbai.


Tarun Arora, Director Finance & Operations, IG International Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Tarun Arora - Director - Finance and Operations The younger scion of the Arora family leads the young corporate team with his innovative and modern outlook,An Indian Business tycoon who is the Director of IG International Pvt ltd & Sanvi International guiding the company through diversification and growth to emerge as one of the Indian leaders in the fresh fruit industry. In addition to the cold stores, IG Supply Chain operates a fleet of 70 trucks, out of which 50 are reefer trucks with trailers to ship product from ports to markets to plug any gap in the cold chain.
