Adhil Shetty

Adhil Shetty serves as the CEO of BankBazaar.com. Also the co-founder of the company, he has set for himself an incisive vision – that of making BankBazaar.com the go-to brand for investors and loan aspirants – which is shifting the contours of how loans, cards and insurance products are consumed. BankBazaar.com was born in 2008 as the result of a frustrating personal search for a loan. Thus, they conceptualized a marketplace that made the process of taking financial products much more transparent and simple.

Frustration turned into a multimillion enterprise in the eight years that BankBazaar.com has been in existence. Adhil credits a strong management team and a driven workforce for this unflagging growth. Adhil held decisive positions at Deloitte Touche Tomahatsu’s US East Alliance and Cisco Systems before he dived headlong into scripting the BankBazaar story.

Anand Daniel

Anand Daniel joined Accel in 2010 and focuses on consumer, healthcare technology and marketplace investments.  

Anand led Accel’s investments in Forus, Pristine, TaxiForSure (Acquired by Ola), Swiggy and Vendantu.  

Prior to Accel, Anand worked for many years at Intel and Intel Capital, and also was an investor at Flybridge Capital.

Anshuman Bapna

Anshuman is the CEO & co-founder of mygola.com, a travel planning service. He co-founded and sold his first startup (RightHalf.com) while in undergrad at IIT Bombay, seeing it through the first boom & bust on the internet. Bharati Jacob

Ms. Bharati Jacob is a Founder-Partner of Seedfund, an early stage fund that invests in innovative Indian start-ups. She has extensive experience in venture investing, marketing and financial services. Ms. Jacob co-founded Seedfund in 2006 and invested in 35 companies thus far. The diverse investments include Redbus (on-line bus ticketing), Edusports (sports in schools), Jeeves (post sales service for appliances), Axisrooms (organizing hotel inventory) among others. Seedfund’s exit from Redbus – a company which she identified as an early investment and served on the board - to a strategic investor, was among the top three venture capital deals of the last decade for return on capital invested. Bhavish Aggarwal

Bhavish Aggarwal is the CEO and Co-founder of Ola cabs. Before starting Ola cabs, Bhavish worked with Microsoft Research for two years, where he filed 2 patents and published 3 papers in international journals.

Hari Menon is the CEO of BigBasket.com, a company he co-founded in December 2011 with a vision of setting up India’s finest online food and grocery company. With operations having commenced in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai, BigBasket.com plans to expand to another 10 cities over the next 2 years. Karthee Madasamy

Karthee is Managing Director, India and Israel, and is based in Bangalore, India. Karthee has over 16 years of experience in the wireless and multimedia industries and has worked in product development and management roles at various semiconductor startups. Prior to his current role, he worked as a management consulting intern at Boston Consulting Group and as an associate at the venture capital firm, JK&B Capital.

Ganesh was founder of the data analytics BPO firm Marketics until March 2007, when the company was acquired by NYSE listed WNS for $ 63 MM. Manik Arora

Mr. Manik Arora is Founder & Managing Director of IDG Ventures India Advisors. IDG Ventures manages over US$6 Billion globally and has a portfolio of over 200 technology companies. Venkat has more than 25 years of experience in successfully leading and growing consumer products and life sciences companies in India. Pallav Nadhani

Sampad Swain

Sampad Swain is the co-founder and CEO of Instamojo.com, a high-growth consumer internet startup that democratises digital payments for individuals, micro-merchants, infopreneurs, freelancers, SMBs etc with its innovative P2P commerce platform where anyone can collect payments by simply sharing a URL/link over SMS, email, blogs or even social networks.

Instamojo.com was a part of 500Startups' batch of Fall-2012 in Silicon Valley, California and serves customers primarily in India and in the US. Sanjay Nath

Sanjay is a Co-founder & Managing Partner at Blume Ventures (www.blumeventures.com). Blume has emerged as one of India's leading early-stage funds, having invested in over 50 startups since its inception in late 2010.

Sateesh Andra is a Managing Partner at Ventureast, primarily overseeing the Ventureast Tenet Fund, a premier seed-stage VC Fund consisting of investments across technology (Mobility, Cloud, Internet) and technology-enabled (Education, Healthcare, Financial services, Cleantech and high-impact, invention-based social businesses) sectors. He has worked in or with venture-backed technology start-ups in U.S/India for the past fourteen years. With hands-on start-up experience and in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of VC funding, he looks for highly motivated and energetic entrepreneurs as partners.

Prior to joining Ventureast, Sateesh was Venture Partner and was one of the founding members of Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ), India. He helped launch Hyderabad Angels, a platform to provide seed capital to start ups. As a private investor earlier, Sateesh has also invested in early stage American and Indian venture capital funds.

Prior to DFJ, Sateesh co-founded Euclid, a leader in the IT Management Software space and was instrumental in raising VC funding ($35 M+), acquiring, and managing marquee customers and partners. He has also served in product marketing and engineering leadership roles at Tsqware (Conexant), LSI Logic, and VLSI Technology (Philips). Sateesh holds U.S. patents in Communications and Networking and has published several articles on Business - IT Alignment.

Sateesh has a B.Tech degree from JNTU, Hyderabad, and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from SIUE. He is a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE). He is actively involved with the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy with the objective of popularizing sports, and promoting fitness consciousness in the corporate world. Sateesh co-founded Health Awareness Promotion Project India (HAPPI), which creates awareness about Non Communicable Diseases  among IT professionals.

Shriram Krishnamachari

Shriram Krishnamachari is responsible for leading the development and execution of the region's strategic plans, Go to Market implementationand ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Shriram brings anin-depth understanding of India SMB market, forging strategic partnerships and building scalable business from scratch. He has over 20 years of sales leadership experience in the SAARC market. Before joining Intuit, he served as Head Channels & Alliances at Adobe India. In this role, he was responsible for partnerships, operations and new initiatives to drive exponential growth in the SAARC market.

 

Prior to joining Adobe, Shriram was India Country Manager at Macromedia Inc. He has worked with Wipro Infotech as National Business Manager, Product Manager and other key roles.

Srikanth Nadhamuni

Srikanth Nadhamuni is a technologist and entrepreneur who spent a decade and a half in California’s Silicon Valley designing CPUs, developing software products and creating internet startups.

 

Srikanth was inspired by his grandfather’s entrepreneurial zeal, who with his 10th grade education travelled globally, imported new equipment and technology and setup several companies in wood and plastics in Mysore, India.

 

Srikanth has a BE from the University of Mysore and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. He worked at Sun Microsystems on the UltraSparc, the most successful CPU project at Sun. At Intel he worked on the Pentium projects. This was followed by a stint at Silicon Graphics creating an interactive TV platform. In 1996 he joined the initial team of Healtheon | WebMD, a Jim Clark and Kleiner Perkins startup. This was followed by GlobeTrades, an unsuccessful and highly educational startup failure. He moved to India in 2002 to work on social development initiatives and partnered with Nandan Nilekani (then CEO of Infosys) to start the eGovernments Foundation. This NGO focuses on improving municipal governance in 275+ Indian cities through the use of IT-enabled eGovernance products. Following that, he was made the Head of Technology by the UID Authority of India. He setup the Aadhaar technology centre that would design and develop a biometric-based Identity Management system for India’s 1.2 billion population.

 

Srikanth is currently the CEO of Khosla Labs which he and Vinod Khosla setup in Oct 2012.

Subrata Mitra

Subrata focuses on technology and Internet investing. Subrata served on the boards of Small-device (now a part of Digital Chocolate) and Mu Sigma, and is currently on the boards of Perfint, Flipkart, Myntra, and enStage. Before joining Accel India in 2008, Subrata was a Partner at Erasmic Venture Fund. Prior to Erasmic, Subrata was MD, India, for Tavant Technologies, Inc., a U.S.-based mortgage solutions company, which was acquired by privately held Ameriquest Mortgage Capital in 2004 (Ameriquest has since merged into CitiCapital).

 

Previously, Subrata was the Founder of Firewhite, Inc., which was acquired by Ubiquio, Inc., and later merged into Mobile Planet. Subrata started his career at IBM's prestigious T.J. Watson and Santa Teresa Labs, working in the Software R&D groups. Subrata holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Delaware, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT, Kanpur, India.

Sumat Chopra

Previously worked as a Senior Associate at Goldman Sachs, New York with ten years of experiences across technology, retail, & other sectors in trading, investment banking and risk and also in private equity investing. He founded an online grocery shopping platform for college campuses and also worked for Microsoft. Born and raised in Mumbai, he moved to the U.S. to study computer science and business at Carnegie Mellon University and Harvard University. He has an MBA from INSEAD with an exchange at Wharton.

Vamsicharan Mudiam

Vamsicharan Mudiam (Vamsi), is the Cloud Computing Strategy Leader for IBM India/South Asia. Vamsi is responsible for presenting an integrated ‘one IBM’ view on Cloud Computing to clients and partners. He also looks after strategic initiatives related to Cloud, with special focus on solution creation specific to local market needs. In addition, he also works closely with IBM’s ISV & Developer Relations (IDR) and Channel teams in developing a stronger ecosystem of partners.

 

As part of one of his cloud engagements for IBM, Vamsi began his cloud journey by being a key member of the Cloud labs organization working out of the Silicon Valley labs.

 

In his previous role, as the head of Cloud lab in India (Bangalore), Vamsi led a team of architects and developers who had made significant contributions to IBM’s Cloudburst development and also various other engagements locally and globally. He was also responsible for spearheading the implementation of a lab wide Dev/Test Cloud in the India Software Lab which is an integrated platform that includes integration with other IBM IT support systems.

 

Vamsi has been with IBM for the last 13 years, and most recently headed the IBM Cloud lab out of Bangalore. He has been part of the IBM Cloud journey for the past 3 years, leading a team of architects who have added value to IBM's Cloud offerings and customer engagements.

Vijay Simha

Vijay graduated in 1979 from BITS Pilani, and consciously pursued everything that had the word start in it. While in school he was obsessed by how the Universe started and won the National Science Talent scholarship to pursue that. Then he went on to start a number of exciting new stuff - new ways to analyze materials, new ways to manufacture large biomolecules, new ways to build markets and also experienced new ways to fail. He was fortunate to be a part of 3 sub industrial revolutions that happened in India; the biotech revolution, the auto components revolution and now the medical technology revolution.

He is currently evangelising medical technology as a sunrise industry that holds the key to India becoming an economic super power. He also as the CEO of OneBreath, an innovation that is being translated from the benches at Stanford University to the bedsides of millions who would die due to respiratory illness, is carefully nurturing its utility to positively impact those millions who were denied their right to life because they didn't have the money. 

He as a member of the FICCI Advisory Council on innovation and the FICCI Healthservices Committee is actively pursuing an inclusive agenda for innovation and has been conducting the FICCI Innovation sandbox that brings cutting edge scientific research to impact society by the teaming up of scientists, entrepreneurs and business professionals.

Vinay Nathan

Vinay brings to Altizon 14+ years of varied experience across sales, marketing, engineering and product management. Prior to Altizon he was VP Sales at Persistent Systems. He led Persistent Systems sales activities in the U.S. North East for 4+ years and added 30+ new logos that contributed to 20M+ USD in revenues. He also set up the APAC sales team that went from nil to 7% of annual revenues within 2 years. Vinay began his career in engineering and rose up the engineering ladder to be a center head for a US based captive. He holds 2 US patents and has 5 patents pending globally on work related USB, wireless and code security. Vinay holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from University of Southern California, LA and a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from University of Pune. He is actively involved with TiE and was cochair for TiECON Pune 2014 and 15. Vinay is also a fellow of the Startup Leadership Program.
