Ash Narain, Founder, CEO & Head of Product, BankerBay

Ash conceived BankerBay late in 2012. Having had direct experience helping connect seekers and providers of capital, he was convinced there had to be better ways to compare client requirements and make introductions. Wanting to organize his own deal flow and capital sources, he set up a very basic website in November 2012 and invited clients to add their requirements, thereby hoping to organize and screen information more effectively. In this manner, BB was born to help Ash do a better job helping his clients. Within 3 weeks, 1,200 firms had posted their requirements and word spread. Overwhelmed by the response, he went back to the drawing board. The website was taken offline, a professional engineering team was assembled and development on a more robust version began.

Over the months, BB attracted senior fund managers and other supporters, who actively helped Ash & team refine the concept. Thus, with the active support of BB members, the Beta was built. BB had it's soft launch in August 2013. Ash continues to devise intelligent solutions for BB users and is the core creative and product head and watches over the BB network and engineering teams.
