Arunima Patel, Founder and MD, iGenetic Diagnostics

After completing her engineering degree in Electronics & Communications, Ms. Patel did MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA).

She started her career with multinationals like Prudential Insurance and IBM. She then joined the healthcare investment team of private equity firm Actis where she was instrumental in Actis’s investment into Sterling Hospitals.

It was her stint at Actis that she realized the need and scope of molecular testing service, an activity that were at nascent stages in India then.

She then started iGenetic from scratch with a committed to provide quality diagnostics in Tier II and III cities and rural areas at affordable prices. She was instrumental in attracting investment from marquee investors such as Manipal Education & Medical Group and CDC which is UK Government’s private equity arm. Before MEMG and CDC, she raised Rs 6.5 crore from high net worth individuals.

Ms. Patel has been rightly selected by Forbes India to be one of the women power trailblazers for the year 2018.

In Near future, she plans to take iGenetic to greater heights and the company will continue setting new benchmarks in diagnosis of serious issues such as critical care infections, cancer, infertility, neurology and others. iGenetic is already earned the stature of being the only diagnostics company in India to that can deliver a septicemia (infection of the blood) test report within 24 hours. With a mission to touch a billion lives through the services of her company, Ms. Patel plans to take iGenetic’s presence to Sri Lanka, Middle East and other neighboring countries.

She is socially inclined and is personally contributing to several NGOs. Education in the country and skills are areas dear to her and she is involved with two foundations – Skills Foundation which is building and managing schools for remote areas in Bihar and Adharshilla which funds and manages schools in Madhya Pradesh.

When she is not working, she is globe-trotting being an avid traveler. She is also passionate about health and runs and cycles every day in her free time.

Arunima Patel, Founder & Managing Director, iGenetic Diagnostics

Arunima Patel is the founder of iGenetic Diagnostics. She has over a decade of experience in healthcare investing, strategy and marketing. Her prior work experience includes 7 years stint at Actis Private Equity focusing on healthcare investing where she has evaluated and managed investments across healthcare delivery business across Asia. Prior to Actis, Arunima has worked at Prudential at UK and IBM.

During her stint at Actis PE she managed a US$50m investment in Sterling Hospitals, the largest tertiary care hospital chain in Gujarat. As the lead investment manager, Arunima was a key part of the team in driving growth and margin improvement at the chain.

Apart from iGenetic, Arunima has also founded the leading dental chain in Delhi called My Family Dentist.

She holds a post graduate diploma in management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) and a degree in Electronics & Communications engineering from National Institute of Technology, Bhopal (NIT, Bhopal).

ArunKumar Pillai, COO, IL&FS Education and Technology Services Ltd

Arunkumar Pillai is the Chief Operating Officer, IL&FS Skills Development Corporation (IL&FS Skills). IL&FS Skills is promoted by Infrastructure Leasing & Financial Services Ltd. (IL&FS), and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Arunkumar has been with the IL&FS Group since 2009 working on school education and skills training projects. He has played a key role in establishing the joint venture with NSDC. He leads the effort in establishment of the network of IL&FS Institute of Skills (IIS) across the country with an objective to train a million youth annually. IL&FS Skills has 37 IIS across the country today and has trained close to 3 lakh persons.

Before joining IL&FS, Arunkumar has worked in a number of education projects including the establishment and operation of medical colleges, engineering colleges and schools. He has been working in the field of education for the last 10 years. Prior to his foray into education, he worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in their strategy consulting practice in Mumbai.

He brings to the Group his expertise in strategy formulation and execution and domain knowledge and experience of education sector

Arunkumar holds a MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore and is an electrical engineer from Government College of Engineering, Pune.

With two decades of experience in PE/VC investing, Arvind is a seasoned Alternative Investment Professional focusing on Social Impact Investing.

As the CEO at C4D Partners, he heads the global operations of the C4D Asia Fund and takes pride in supporting and building organizations that make a positive difference to society and simultaneously create wealth for the stakeholders.

Arvind also serves as a director and advisor for 9 (Nine) plus portfolio companies, wherein he provides strategic guidance to the companies.

Before joining C4D Partners, Arvind worked with organizations like Abu Dhabi Capital Management, Goldman Sachs, and Evalueserve India Private Limited.

CA Arvind Kumar Agrawal is a practicing Chartered Accountants having vast experience in the following fields: Audits, Taxation, Company matters, Project funding and implementation, System Development, Business Process Definitions. CA he is heading as Proprietor of Chartered Accountants firm M/s. Agrawal Arvind & Associates, since1997. He is expert in Agro Finance, system and Process Developments. He played a major role in the upliftment of farmers of Chhattisgarh by supporting them in implementation of innovative and mechanized farming. He conducted Seminars on Farm economics at different platforms. He is also in Boards of several Companies.

In Social life, he is an active Jaycee Member, graduated as an Excel Trainer (CNT) from JCI University, Chesterfield, USA and conducted more than 100 workshops on different subjects related to life and required for capacity building. He is also a part of program on livelihood up gradation of World Bank, run by Madhya Pradesh Government in capacity building measures.

Arvind Bansal, Executive Director and Head, Products and Advisory, Avendus Wealth Management

Arvind Bansal has over 20 years of experience into wealth and asset management business and is based in Mumbai. At Avendus, he heads the products and advisory desk for the Wealth business and his primary responsibility includes building the business's  product capabilities in equity, fixed income and real estate asset classes. Prior to joining Avendus,  he worked with Ocean Dial's asset management team, an Avendus entity now. Prior to Ocean Dial, Arvind was the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for multi-manager business of ING Mutual Fund. He has had successful stints with KPMG and ICICI Prudential as well.

Arvind holds a Bachelor in Engineering degree from IIT, Delhi and an MBA degree from ISB Hyderabad.

Arvind Gangoly, CEO, Schedulers Logistics India Pvt Ltd | @schedulersindia

Arvind Gangoly is the CEO and co- Founder of Schedulers Logistics which is a niche cold chain logistics and solutions provider in the Food and Pharma space. He has used his experience in  supply chain management to build up an organisation that is providing a reach to over 100 towns in India and neighbouring countries. After taking a pre-mature release from the Army in 2006, he has worked with fairly large grocery retail companies namely TESCO, Aditya Birla Retail and Foodland Retail. He has been instrumental in setting up of a number of control measures during the nascent stage of business of these companies and that was of significant help in containing loss. He was honoured with Global Tesco Values award in the year 2010.

He is a Post graduate in Materials Management  with a degree in Foreign trade and has been a senior logistician with the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India, prior to his joining the retail industry. He also has the distinction of working as a Logistics Head with the United  Nations for their  Operations in East Africa for close to 3 years.

Natureland Organic Foods Pvt. Ltd. is promoted by Mr. Arvind Godara first generation entrepreneur into agriculture and agricultural processing business. Natureland was established in order to bring about organic revolution in the agricultural business which as a family he have been into for decades but have restricted to conventional farming and mostly utilised for captive consumption. Ltd. has transformed the face of agriculture and rural development in Rajasthan and 7 states of India, He has devised ingeniously simple technology and techniques in Organic agriculture. He firmly believe that more than resources, it is the resource management capabilities of the rural India that needs immediate intervention. From the start up of Natureland, time has brought many a feather to their cap, from a family run business to a Pvt. Ltd. Organisation, Launching of the retail brand of Natureland Organic, exporting Organic Foods and further Investment by SIDBI in Natureland is recent landmark.
