Before co-founding o3 Capital, Shiraz worked at Avendus Capital, where he was instrumental in setting up and leading their Healthcare and Lifesciences practice.
Shiraz holds an MBA degree from Melbourne Business School and is a B.E. Chemical graduate from Mumbai University.

Shiraz Bugwadia focuses on the Life Sciences and Infrastructure practice. Shiraz has more than 15 years of experience in investment banking and has worked extensively on deals across multiple spectrums of Life Sciences and Infrastructure sectors.
He graduated as an engineer from Mumbai University and completed M.B.A. from Melbourne Business School.

In his last stint before Ezetap, He worked as Senior Vice-President & General Manager, India Region for Naurus Inc., Subsidiary of Boeing Company.
A keen start-up & Entrepreneurship aficionado, he was a resident mentor @ Centre for Innovation Incubation & Entrepreneurship, IIM Ahmedabad for a leading start up accelerator program in India.
He is an alumnus of Stanford University & has completed his M.S, Computer Science & Engineering from University of Texas, Arlington. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering, computer science from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.

Shirish is a serial entrepreneur, whose previous two software companies had successful exits to global majors - Symantec Corp. in 1999, and Symphony Services Inc. in 2004. Subsequently, as head of their Pune subsidiaries, he helped achieve rapid business growth to 600+ employees and over $25 million revenue in 3.5 years each.
Shirish has done his B-Tech (EE) from IIT Mumbai, followed by a Master’s degree from USA. He holds a US patent and filed two more recently, has presented ten technical papers, won several excellence awards, and has written a book titled ‘From Entrepreneurs to Leaders’ published in 2010 by Tata McGraw-Hill.

Shirish Godbole, MD & India Head, Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing (MSREI) India
Shirish Godbole is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and the country head (India) of Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Investing business. Mr. Godbole is a seasoned Real Estate Finance professional having worked in this sector for over 20 years in three continents.
Mr. Godbole has focused on real estate investing in India since 2007, initially at Goldman Sachs, where he was Managing Director and country head for Goldman Sachs’ Real Estate Principal Investments Area, and since November 2011 at Morgan Stanley.
From 2001 to 2007, he was based in London and was initially the CFO of Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Investing Business for Europe and later the Co-head of Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate Debt Financing business for Europe.
He joined Morgan Stanley in 1994 in New York, as part of the Securitized Products Group after having spent several years at AEW Capital in Boston.
Mr. Godbole has received a Bachelor in Commerce Degree from the University of Mumbai and an MBA from Northeastern University of Boston.
