Manish Nihalani, Chief Operating Officer, Alchemist Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd.

Manish Nihalani is the Chief Operating Officer of Alchemist Asset Reconstruction Company Limited and has been associated with the Company since 2016.

He leads strategy for acquisitions and resolution and provides strategic direction and guidance for the entire ARC operation. He has been responsible for distressed portfolio management from acquisition to the resolution. He has been instrumental in business development including asset evaluation and Institutional / banking relationship for the Company. He has driven the growth trajectory of Asset Under Management of the Company from INR 500 crore to INR 2,000 crore.

With a total experience of 21 years, Mr. Nihalani was in the field of banking, distress assets management, restructuring, turnaround of retail portfolio / SME and large corporate, managing institutional relationship, asset acquisition & evaluation, investments & fund raising. He started his career with Aditya Birla Group and Joined ICICI Bank and worked on Asset Resolution and later joined one of the largest PRA of ARCIL in NPA resolution.

Mr. Nihalani is Commerce Graduate and earned a Master degree in Finance.


Manish Patel, MD & CEO, Mswipe

Manish is the CEO of Mswipe and has 20 years of experience leading sales. Prior to Mswipe, he co-founded Milestone Merchandise, an Alcobev distribution company with FY012 sales of Rs 140 crores. Manish has a degree in Medicine from Mumbai University.


Manish Rathi, CEO & Founder, RailYatri.in

Manish has a Masters in Computer Science from Western Michigan University and has more than 20 years of industry experience working with Bell Labs, July Systems, and GlobalLogic. His area of expertise lies with designing and engineering scalable Consumer Products/Services which utilizes networked information models.

Having worked closely with Indian Railways for more than 3 years - Manish has hands-on experience of how information operates and data flows in Railway networks.


Manish Sabharwal, CEO, Team Lease Services Pvt. Ltd

Manish is currently the Chairman and co-founder of Teamlease Services, India’s largest staffing and training firm. The firm now has 250 training centers and over 75,000 employees in 770 cities/ towns across India.

Earlier he co-founded India Life, an HR outsourcing company in 1996 that was acquired by Hewitt associates in 2002. Consequently he was Managing Director of Hewitt Outsourcing (Asia) in Singapore.

Manish is a member of the Prime Ministers Council on Skill Development and serves on various state and central government committees related to education, employment and employability.

He got his MBA from The Wharton School and is an alumni of Shriram College, Delhi and Mayo College, Ajmer.

 


Manish Shah, EVP - Digital Channels, Kotak Mahindra Bank

Manish is part of the core team that drives Kotak Mahindra Bank’s digital-first banking strategy and leads the team that manages the bank’s digital channel initiatives across mobile and internet banking.

Since 2012, Manish has led the implementation of key digital banking initiatives related to the Kotak mobile banking app, net banking and conversational banking, including the launch of the AI-powered Keya chatbot and WhatsApp Banking.

He has experience of over two decades in the digital and financial services sector. Prior to joining Kotak, Manish worked with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, Apnaloan.com and GE Plastics.

Manish is an engineer and has completed his MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai


Manish Shah, MD & CEO, Godrej Capital

Manish is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Godrej Capital. He has spent over 22 years in retail financial services, in diverse businesses such as secured and unsecured lending, credit cards, wealth management and life insurance with Citi India, CitiMortgage US, AEGON and Bank of Baroda.

He has held leadership roles in organisations ranging from MNCs, Public Sector enterprises to co-founding a robo-advisory start-up that was later acquired by Newscorp, making it one of India’s earliest fintech exits to a large global organisation. These stints involved setting up large distribution networks across the country, strategic business development, institutional fund-raising, building analytics and risk management frameworks, often from the ground up. He joined Godrej Capital from BoB Financial Services where he was the MD&CEO, heading the bank’s NBFC focused on the credit cards business. He is an alumni of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Mumbai university.

Cofounder and CEO of Bigdecisions.com, a personal finance advisory platform. Started in 2013, was acquired by News Corp in 2014 becoming one of the country's earliest exits to a global corporation. Currently responsible for putting together an organization that helps Bigdecisions become one of India's most robust and transparent platforms.

Prior to starting up, spent 15 years in the financial services industry across markets in India and the US in businesses ranging from unsecured lending, mortgages, wealth management and Life Insurance. Assignments range from managing P&Ls involving large distribution teams spanning widespread geographies to running institutional business development efforts with specialized units.

Manish Singhal, Founding Partner, Pi ventures

Manish is a keen technology, people and business leader. He brings in over 24+ years of experience in building hardware and software IP oriented product companies, early stage investing, valuations, deal structuring and strategy advisory across different sectors.

He is the Founding Partner of pi Ventures, a venture fund focused on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and IoT based out of India. He has been active in the startup eco-system in India for several years. He co-founded LetsVenture.com and led it to become the leading marketplace for startups & early stage investors in India (enabled 15 startups raising their rounds) within a very short span of time.

Before LetsVenture, he was the India country manager for Sling Media Inc, a silicon valley based consumer electronic startup. He built the R&D and product team in India from scratch and took it to a successful acquisition to Echostar Inc in the USA for 380M USD.

He is also a founder-mentor for an initiative called Women Entrepreneur Quest, which is an annual event for recognizing and rewarding women entrepreneurs in India.

After doing his engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1992, he has been instrumental in building several products and teams in different startups and established organisations like Sling Media, Ittiam Systems and Motorola. He has contributed to the standardisation of MPEG-4 standard and holds couple of video technology patents to his name.

Manish Singhal is founder & CEO of LetsVenture. He is a serial entrepreneur and active angel investor. After doing his engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1992, he has been instrumental in building several products and teams in different startups and established organisations like Sling Media, Ittiam Systems and Motorola. He has contributed to the MPEG standard and also holds two patents to his name in video technology. .

Manish Tandon is the MD of Indian Cookery, which was created to launch high quality restaurants globally, specialising in Indian and other popular cuisines.

Mr. Manish Tandon has 23 years experience in the hospitality sector, of which thirteen have been in a General Manager/ National Director role. His key strengths are a deep understanding of the real estate market in India - involved in opening of over 200 outlets for KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Hard Rock Cafe, Gloria Jeans Coffees, Funcity, and Shiros.

He has strong brand start-up experience being part of the team for (Yum Restaurants International owner of brands like KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell) KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bells launch in India as well as leading the Hard Rock Cafe and Shiro launch, as the CEO of the business.
