Gautam Morey, Founder & CEO, Sofomo Embedded Solutions Pvt Ltd
Gautam Morey is the founder and CEO of Sofomo Embedded Solutions Pvt Ltd - a digital health Company that focuses on providing ubiased healthcare access to all Indians. He envisioned the "Lifeplot Connected Care Framework" that successfully realizes the unique idea of connecting medical devices to doctors and other care-givers with "unparalleled medical mobility". It is his firm belief that instead of waiting for healthcare infrastructure to catch up, India needs to firmly adopt disruptive use of ICT for healthcare delivery.
At Sofomo, Gautam pursues "continuous innovation" in order to demonstrate sustainable real-world applications in low-resource settings. He envisaged, designed and co-implemented the most recent of Sofomo's health outreach offering called Arogya Sakhi - a program for Doorstep Community Health Services through the Mobile Health Worker. Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), a widely acclaimed NGO running various programs sponsored by USAID, World Bank, DFID, etc partnered to structure the program and adopt it into its agenda for health. Arogya Sakhi received early recognition for its huge potential for social impact in November 2014, when it was awarded the 2014 Mobile For Good Award by the Vodafone Foundation, India.
Sofomo's flagship product - Lifeplot UNIQ, is the world's lightest, handheld and connected fully diagnostic ECG device. It enables rural-urban healthcare connectivity by instantaneously transferring ECG from a remote location to Specialist for diagnosis. UNIQ is a wholly "Made-in-India" product!
Sofomo is also responsible for creating the technology backbone for Hewlett Packard's (HP India) CSR program called eHealth Centre. Through a mix of cloud computing, integrated equipment and tele-consultation, we receive and handle roughly 400 patients per day through the 10 eHCs' operational in deep rural parts of the country.
Gautam is a proud nationalist and an Electronics Engineer from the University of Pune. A first generation entrepreneur, he consciously records the trials , tribulations and travails India provides to any enterprising individual - especially innovators. Then again, by having successfully overcome many of these, he aims to provide hope and optimism to the countless young Indians taking the entrepreneurship plunge.
Gautam was one of the select entrepreneurs from the country invited by NASSCOM at their 25th Anniversary celebration with PM Narendra Modi.

Gautam comes with an extensive background of entrepreneurship/ marketing/ academics and specializes in creating new industries.
An MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai, he started at Saatchi & Saatchi – on launches of top MNC & Indian brands. He was “the best performer” years in a row, and won awards from Procter & Gamble for “outstanding contribution”.
He turned entrepreneur as founder CEO of TheoryM – India’s earliest interactive marketing/ data analytics specialist. TheoryM (started with US$ 500 ) went on to become one of India’s largest Digital Media & Data Analytics players working with Unilever, ICICI Bank, Citibank, Shoppers’ Stop, Raymond, Lakme, Star TV.
In 2005, Gautam ventured into media, as Founder & MD of Palador – currently India’s largest player in “World Cinema”. When Palador started, the category was less than US$ 100k per annum. It now turns over more than US$ 20 million annually. For this pioneering contribution, CNN has recognized Gautam as one of the “Top 20 media professionals to Watch Out for”.
Gautam is active in academics as visiting faculty of NMIMS, Mumbai and Symbiosis, Pune. He has also lectured at numerous universities including SP Jain and the University of Leeds. He is on the mentorship panel of IIT Powai’s Entrepreneurship Cell and the National Entrepreneurs’ Network.
Gautam is also a published author of a critically acclaimed novel, plays the piano & guitar and painted 12 canvasses with oil.

He is currently the CEO of Times Internet Ltd., the digital arm of The Times of India Group, where he drives the strategy, vision and execution for all the internet, mobile and telecommunication properties of the group.
Prior to Times Internet Ltd., Gautam was the Chief Operating Officer of CashEdge Inc, a company based out of New York and California working in payments and wealth management, where he worked since 2001 building and leading the company from startup to profitability. Prior to CashEdge, he held senior management positions at Sevant, Aspect Communications, at the Neural Applications Corporation, and at the Ministry of Defense in India (DRDO). He believes in the Indian startup ecosystem and is an active early stage investor.
Gautam Sinha, Founder / Creative Director, Nappa Dori
Nappa Dori was born in 2010 in a quaint village nestled in the heart of Delhi. Deep within the dusty and damp alleys was a creative studio owned by Gautam Sinha, a NIFT graduate in Fashion Design, who had an epiphany that compelled him to discard conventional fashion design and explore the world of Indian leather and artisanal craftsmanship.
Voted in 2011 as one of the five most creative talents in the Indian scene by the British Council, Gautam has brought a unique creative flair, complemented by an energetic entrepreneurial zest that has propelled Nappa Dori into the mainstream Indian design industry.
Today, Nappa Dori’s success story is applauded by many as it has disrupted conventional design mandates and created its own unique creative ideology. The creative essence is about simplicity in thought and action. Effective, usable design that compliments people’s lifestyles without being ostentatious, predictable or clichéd, while adding a touch of effortless flair to the modern day lifestyles of those young at heart.

Gayathri is the CEO of LabourNet. She has built LabourNet into a respected social enterprise, by anchoring on values of growth, transparency social protection and inclusion. LabourNet has won numerous awards in the last few years for its model and contribution to society. She has been extensively involved in policy issues & community mobilizations relating to Livelihoods, Social Security and the informal economy. Gayathri has a Doctorate in development studies with more than 17 years’ experience in both national and international organizations.
Gayathri has held several advisory posts in the Government – Member Aadhar (UIDA), Member, BOCCW, Government of Harayana. Currently, she is a member of National CII skill committee & South Region CII skill committee; She is also a Chairwoman, Indian Women Network (IWN) Southern Regional Council Karnataka.
Before joining LabourNet, she has held senior positions at International Labour Organization and other multilateral organisations for eight years such us UNICEF, UNDP, UNESCO, NORAD etc.
She has more than 30 publications in the areas of labour and employment and gender issues to her credit.
Geetansh Bamania, Founder, Rentomojo
Geetansh Bamania, an enthusiastic entrepreneur and dynamic personality started his career in engineering from IIT Madras. By the age of 27, Geetansh is already a serial entrepreneur with prior forays in community learning (Click2skill) and philanthropic crowdfunding (HopeMonkey). He has also worked with companies like Flipkart, Pepperfry and KPGM.
Geetansh along with Ajay Nain launched RentoMojo in Dec 2014, to provide frugal furnishing rental solutions to the ever-increasing population of migrants in major cities across India looking for quick solutions for furnishing.

Gene Eidelman, Co-Founder & President, Mosaica Education
Gene Eidelman co-founded Mosaica Education in 1997, and currently serves as its President. Gene is responsible for strategic planning with an emphasis on financial performance, business development and quality assurance. Gene has over 30 years of experience in finance, budgeting, marketing, human resources and organizational effectiveness in both public and private companies. Prior to co-founding Mosaica, he co-founded Prodigy Consulting in 1988, an organization that developed and operated a chain of community and corporate-sponsored childcare centers. Gene defected from the former Soviet Union as a teenager in 1976. Soon after arriving to Los Angeles, he became an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California where he simultaneously started a real estate development business. In 1995, Prodigy Consulting merged with the publicly-held Children’s Discovery Centers and in 1997 was acquired by Knowledge Universe. While at Children’s Discovery Centers, Gene was President of the Prodigy Division, overseeing 69 corporate child care centers in 23 states.
In 1999, Gene was selected as one of the “Ten Outstanding Young People of the World” by Junior Chamber International. In 2009, Gene together with Dr. Dawn Eidelman, were awarded the “James P. Boyle Entrepreneurial Leadership Award” by the Education Industry Association for their unwavering commitment to innovation in education. Gene is a former Treasurer and Trustee of the Georgia Charter School Association. He is a board member of the Michigan-based Coalition for Educational Choice and Co-Chair of the Geneva-based World Education Entrepreneur Society (WEES). He is additionally President of the Board of Trustees of Aurora Education Trust in England and founder/settler of Sunshine Education Trust in India-non-profit trusts committed to improving education.
