Garima Batra, Project Leader, Public Sector and Development Practice, The Boston Consulting Group
Garima Batra is a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group's India office in the Public Sector and Development Practice.
She has worked on numerous assignments in the Mumbai, Delhi and London offices of BCG since 2005. Over the last 3.5 years, Garima has focused extensively on the education sector across ECE (Early Childhood Education), K-12, and higher education segments. She is deeply passionate about the cause of education quality improvement in India and is currently leading BCG's work with the Govt. of Haryana on a state-wide 'Quality Improvement Program'(QIP). The program has already shown some early evidence of impact through improved student learning outcomes basis third party assessment results.
Garima also has experience supporting the set-up of a new private university, the Shiv Nadar University, where she worked for a period of about 2 years. She holds an MBA from INSEAD and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi.

Gaurav was born and raised in Kanpur. He is a Computer Science Graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD). Prior to 1mg, Gaurav was the CTO and Head pf Product at HealthKart, India’s #1 Nutrition eCommerce Company. Till 2013, before returning to India, Gaurav was the Business Head at Zynga for its globally bestselling online social gaming Business Farmville.

Gaurav is the co-founder of 1mg, India's #1 Health platform. With over 18 million app downloads, and 160 million monthly Page Views, 1mg is the favorite app for health consumers across the country. Gaurav was born and raised in Kanpur.
He is a Computer Science graduate from Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D). Prior to 1mg, Gaurav was the Business Head at Zynga for its globally bestselling online social gaming business, Farmville.

Gaurav Ahuja, Managing Director, ChrysCapital
Gaurav Ahuja is a Managing Director with ChrysCapital and has been with the firm since 2004. He is responsible for the LP Relations and Fund Raising functions at ChrysCapital. Mr. Ahuja is a member of the Investment Committee and sits on the board of Infogain, ChrysCapital’s IT Services portfolio company. Prior to joining ChrysCapital, he was in the M&A group at Lazard Freres in San Francisco and Merrill Lynch in New York. Mr. Ahuja received an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Virginia.

Gaurav Chaturvedi, Partner, Kae Capital
Gaurav is a Partner at Kae capital. An IITB alumnus, he co-founded ThinkLabs in 2006 and helped it grow into one of the largest STEM education companies in India. After the acquisition of ThinkLABs in 2016, Gaurav continued running the business for one more year before successfully exiting
He loves closely working with founders and helping them. A firm believer in lifelong learning, He thinks that the best way to learn for an investor is to work with the best entrepreneurs. At Kae Capital, Gaurav currently spends time overseeing investments in B2B, SaaS, and emerging technology. He sits on the boards of companies like Zetwerk, Hiver, Hippo Video and Disprz.

Gaurav has over 9 years of experience in consumer and business unsecured credit across the US, UK and Indian markets. Before Indialends he held various senior positions in marketing, business development and credit risk at Capital One. He has an MBA from the London Business School, MSc. Gaurav Dalmia is the Chairman of Dalmia Group Holdings, a holding company for business and financial assets. It invests in private equity, real estate, public markets, structured debt and fixed income.
He is an early investor in and a Board member of True North, a leading Indian private equity fund, which manages approximately $3.5billion. He is also the founder and Chairman of Landmark Holdings, a real estate investment firm. He co-founded GTI, a long term investment vehicle for India focused investments.
He is a member of the Governing Board of The Institute for New Economic Thinking in New York. He is Chairman of the Indian Advisory Board of Room to Read, a global education charity. Gaurav Dalmia is a member of a one of the leading industrial conglomerates in India. The Dalmia Group’s interests range from cement, industrial ceramics, engineering, sugar, information technology and investments, with consolidated revenues of $ 1.2 billion.
Gaurav co-founded Infinity, an Indian technology venture capital firm. He is an early investor in and member of the Investment Committee of India Value Fund, a leading Indian private equity fund, which manages approximately $1.5billion. He is also the founder and Chairman of Landmark Holdings, a real estate investment firm, with more than 25 housing projects under development. He is co sponsor of the Evolvence India Fund, an India specific Fund of Funds. He co founded GTI, a long term investment vehicle for India focused investments.

Gaurav Deepak, Co-founder and MD, Avendus Capital
Gaurav spearheads Avendus Group’s flagship Investment Banking business and leads the firm's international operations. He has worked on several large and complex engagements in M&A, Private Equity Syndication, Equity Capital Markets and Fixed Income. He has more than 18 years of global Investment Banking experience. Avendus Capital is India’s largest investment bank and operates in the private markets, with a strong focus on Digital, Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, Infrastructure and Enterprise Technology.
Prior to co-founding Avendus, Gaurav worked with ICICI, a leading Indian financial services firm. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur.

Gaurav Gandhi, Chief Operating Officer, Viacom18 Media Private Limited | @viacom18
Gaurav Is the Chief Operating Officer of Viacom18 Digital Ventures - a division set-up to drive the consumer facing digital initiatives for the company. He has recently launched VOOT - Vaicom18’s Over-the-top (OTT) Video platform. He is also responsible for the overall digital strategy for the company including licensing and partnerships in this space.
Prior to this role, Gaurav was the Group Chief Operating officer of IndiaCast Media Distribution - a strategic joint venture between TV18 and Viacom18 created to monetize all channel & content assets across media, platforms and geographies. At IndiaCast, his mandate was to maximize both revenues and reach for content and services from the group - across both the domestic and overseas markets. He used to oversee the entire domestic distribution of Viacom18 and TV18 channels. In addition he was responsible for building out the entire International business for the group (including Ad-sales, Distribution & Licensing) and expanding the footprint of the channels/content to 135 countries around the globe.
Gaurav joined the group in March 2010 as Viacom 18’s Chief Commercial Officer & Head of International Business. In Jan, 2011 he took over as the COO of Sun18 and in May, 2012 he moved to IndiaCast. In August this year he moved into his current role at Viacom18. An alumnus of NMIMS, Gaurav started his career in advertising with Madison Media handling the Coca-Cola India business. In his next role at Turner International, he handled the research and planning portfolio for all Turner India brands. He then moved to STAR India, where he handled & lead various portfolios – the last being Head of Commercial & Business Planning for the network. He then moved on to set up NDTV Imagine - as a founder member & shareholder - where he was responsible for various business & corporate functions as the Executive Vice President - Business Operations.
Gaurav has a unique distinction of having operationally managed virtually every aspect of the media & entertainment business over his 18-year career and has an in-depth understanding of both traditional & digital media.
