Gautam Kapoor, Co-Founder, Shiprocket

With a keen insight of the SMB market and an ex-SMB himself, Gautam Kapoor is the Co-founder at Shiprocket, a leading tech-driven logistics aggregation platform with global reach. At Shiprocket, Gautam is at the helm of running logistics execution, operations and end to end strategy. As the Co-founder of the company, he helps define the culture and vision of the company.

Post his BS in Business from Western International University (USA), Gautam was part of his family business in industrial products import and distribution and worked with several renowned German engineering brands such as Bosch and Sick. He was instrumental in scaling the business and played key roles in several functions such as business development, logistics and enterprise sales.

His entrepreneurial journey began by Co-founding KartRocket and initially he was appointed as COO as well. At KartRocket, Gautam delivered superior results by developing and leading the business development, marketing, and sales. He also played a pivotal role in building the vendor management team and conceptualized the company’s strategic alliance and partner development program. Kartrocket has now been merged with Shiprocket as its e-commerce and omnichannel retail solutions arm, and Gautam is one of the efficacious Co-founder for the combined entity Shiprocket.


Gautam Khanna, CEO, Hinduja Hospital

Mr. Gautam Khanna is the CEO of P.D. Hinduja Hospital and MRC, Mumbai and is also the Head of Hinduja College of Nursing.  He is also  a Managing Committee Member of a Degree College in Mumbai.

An Experienced Business Leader with a rich experience of more than 32 years of successfully Managing Diverse business and creating Sustainable Shareholder Value in Domestic and Internationally at Hinduja Hospital & 3M, leading teams across APAC, Latin America.  Prior to this role, Mr. Khanna was the Executive Director and Country Business Leader of the 3M Healthcare Businesses for South Asia region and worked in 3M for 22 years in India and abroad.

He has demonstrated Skills & Expertise in Strategy, Board &Stakeholder Management, Business turnaround and Scaleup, Change Management, Team building, Customer Engagement & Industry Advocacy.

Mr. Khanna is an active member of various leading Indian Industry Associations. He has held the position of the Chairperson of FICCI Medical Device Forum, Co-Chairman of AMCHAM Medical Device Committee, Chairperson of India Working Group, Advamed and Secretary of Healthcare Federation of India (Nathealth) and was the National Leader of the Services Provider Forum (Hospitals) for Nathealth, India.

Currently, he is the chairman of FICCI Health Services Committee and President of AOH (Association of Hospitals) Mumbai and the  Leader of the Western Region for Nathealth, India. He is also a task force member for SMRT project for IIT Kanpur.

He has been Awarded ‘ India’s Best Leaders in Times of Crisis 2021- Large Employers’ by GPTW for Exemplary Leadership & Healthcare Leadership Award by ET Now & World Health and Wellness Congress 2020  and Won the Asia Brand leadership award in 2009 from CMO, Asia at Singapore.

He has also been Featured as a Leader in “Uncornered – Learnings from the Corner office “, A book by Luis Moniz in 2016 and Featured  in the book “Executive Presence – The Poise Formula for Leadership” by Shital Kakkar Mehra in 2020.

Mr. Khanna is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur (B.Tech) and IIM Calcutta (MBA).

Mr. Gautam Khanna boasts a 33-year career in leadership roles within the business sector. Presently, he serves as the CEO of P.D. Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre, achieving global recognition in Newsweek World's Best Hospital Rankings. Simultaneously, he leads Hinduja College of Nursing and participates in the governing council of K P B Hinduja College of Commerce. His previous tenure of 22 years at 3M, a multinational conglomerate, saw him as the Executive Director and Country Business Leader for 3M Healthcare Businesses in South Asia. He is actively engaged in numerous Indian industry associations, including QCI (Quality Council of India), AOH (Association of Hospitals) Mumbai, Nathealth, and FICCI. With multiple accolades and affiliations, Mr. Khanna is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta. 


Gautam Mehra, Partner and Leader - Financial Services, Tax & Asset Management, PwC

Gautam is Sector leader, Asset Management for PwC in India and leads the PwC Financial Services Tax and Regulatory team.

He has a varied experience of over 28 years. Prior to joining PwC in September 2003, he had stints with two leading accounting and tax consultancy firms, which was followed by a long association with an independent practice founded by him.

In the past few years, he has been focussed on working with players in the financial services space with a particular emphasis on the asset management sector, and also in providing strategic tax inputs to large multinational as well as domestic Indian players.

Gautam is a regular speaker at seminars, both in India and overseas and a contributor to the media. He has been a member of the National Direct Tax Committee of The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the American Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Gautam is a Chartered Accountant, has post-graduated in law and holds a degree in financial management.


Gautam Morey, Founder & CEO, Sofomo Embedded Solutions Pvt Ltd

Gautam Morey is the founder and CEO of Sofomo Embedded Solutions Pvt Ltd - a digital health Company that focuses on providing ubiased healthcare access to all Indians. He envisioned the "Lifeplot Connected Care Framework" that successfully realizes the unique idea of connecting medical devices to doctors and other care-givers with "unparalleled medical mobility". It is his firm belief that instead of waiting for healthcare infrastructure to catch up, India needs to firmly adopt disruptive use of ICT for healthcare delivery.

At Sofomo, Gautam pursues "continuous innovation" in order to demonstrate sustainable real-world applications in low-resource settings. He envisaged, designed and co-implemented the most recent of Sofomo's health outreach offering called Arogya Sakhi - a program for Doorstep Community Health Services through the Mobile Health Worker. Swayam Shikshan Prayog (SSP), a widely acclaimed NGO running various programs sponsored by USAID, World Bank, DFID, etc partnered to structure the program and adopt it into its agenda for health. Arogya Sakhi received early recognition for its huge potential for social impact in November 2014, when it was awarded the 2014 Mobile For Good Award by the Vodafone Foundation, India.

Sofomo's flagship product - Lifeplot UNIQ, is the world's lightest, handheld and connected fully diagnostic ECG device. It enables rural-urban healthcare connectivity by instantaneously transferring ECG from a remote location to Specialist for diagnosis. UNIQ is a wholly "Made-in-India" product!

Sofomo is also responsible for creating the technology backbone for Hewlett Packard's (HP India) CSR program called eHealth Centre. Through a mix of cloud computing, integrated equipment and tele-consultation, we receive and handle roughly 400 patients per day through the 10 eHCs' operational in deep rural parts of the country.

Gautam is a proud nationalist and an Electronics Engineer from the University of Pune. A first generation entrepreneur, he consciously records the trials , tribulations and travails India provides to any enterprising individual - especially innovators. Then again, by having successfully overcome many of these, he aims to provide hope and optimism to the countless young Indians taking the entrepreneurship plunge.

Gautam was one of the select entrepreneurs from the country invited by NASSCOM at their 25th Anniversary celebration with PM Narendra Modi.


Gautam Shiknis, CEO, mChek India Payment Systems

Gautam comes with an extensive background of entrepreneurship/ marketing/ academics and specializes in creating new industries.

An MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai, he started at Saatchi & Saatchi – on launches of top MNC & Indian brands. He was “the best performer” years in a row, and won awards from Procter & Gamble for “outstanding contribution”.

He turned entrepreneur as founder CEO of TheoryM – India’s earliest interactive marketing/ data analytics specialist. TheoryM (started with US$ 500 ) went on to become one of India’s largest Digital Media & Data Analytics players working with Unilever, ICICI Bank, Citibank, Shoppers’ Stop, Raymond, Lakme, Star TV.

In 2005, Gautam ventured into media, as Founder & MD of Palador – currently India’s largest player in “World Cinema”. When Palador started, the category was less than US$ 100k per annum. It now turns over more than US$ 20 million annually. For this pioneering contribution, CNN has recognized Gautam as one of the “Top 20 media professionals to Watch Out for”.

Gautam is active in academics as visiting faculty of NMIMS, Mumbai and Symbiosis, Pune. He has also lectured at numerous universities including SP Jain and the University of Leeds. He is on the mentorship panel of IIT Powai’s Entrepreneurship Cell and the National Entrepreneurs’ Network.

Gautam is also a published author of a critically acclaimed novel, plays the piano & guitar and painted 12 canvasses with oil.

Prior to Times Internet Ltd., Gautam was the Chief Operating Officer of CashEdge Inc,  a company based out of New York and California working in payments and wealth management, where he worked since 2001 building and leading the company from startup to profitability.  Prior to CashEdge, he held senior management positions at Sevant, Aspect Communications, at the Neural Applications Corporation, and at the Ministry of Defense in India (DRDO). He believes in the Indian startup ecosystem and is an active early stage investor.
