Gaurav Dalmia

Gaurav Dalmia is the Chairman of Dalmia Group Holdings, a holding company for business and financial assets. It invests in private equity, real estate, public markets, structured debt and fixed income.

He is an early investor in and a Board member of True North, a leading Indian private equity fund, which manages approximately $3.5billion. He is also the founder and Chairman of Landmark Holdings, a real estate investment firm. He co-founded GTI, a long term investment vehicle for India focused investments.

He is a member of the Governing Board of The Institute for New Economic Thinking in New York. He is Chairman of the Indian Advisory Board of Room to Read, a global education charity. He is a Board member of the Centre for Social and Economic Progress. He is an op-ed contributor to The Economic Times, The Times of India and The Financial Times.

Gaurav Dalmia was selected as a Global Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in 2000. Gaurav Dalmia received an MBA with Beta Gamma Sigma honors from Columbia Business School.

T K Kurien

T K Kurien (TK) is the Chief Executive Officer at Premji Invest. PI is the investment office sponsored by Mr Azim Premji, Chairman of Wipro Ltd.

Prior to his current role TK was Vice Chairman & CEO of Wipro Ltd.

In his career spanning over three decades, TK has held several leadership positions encompassing strategic and operational roles.

TK began his career with Wipro in 2000 and has been instrumental in building and scaling many of Wipro’s successful businesses. As a transformational and inspirational leader, he has started and also scaled several diverse businesses in Wipro including Wipro Eco Energy an analytical startup, Business Process Services, Media, Telecom and Consulting business divisions at Wipro. TK is credited with playing a catalytic role in achieving global recognition and leadership for these businesses.

A strong votary of women’s rights, TK is a recipient of the 2014 Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) Leadership Award -- a joint initiative of UN Women and the UN Global Compact – for Wipro’s proactive commitment to gender equality.

In May 2014, the American India Foundation, committed to catalyzing social and economic change in India honored TK for his corporate and philanthropic leadership.

TK also served on the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum as well as being a member of the Technology subcommittee of the World Economic Forum.

Before joining Wipro, TK served as the Managing Director of GE X Ray from October 1997 to January 2000. Prior to that, he was the CFO of GE Medical Systems (South Asia).

An influential speaker, TK is a Chartered Accountant by training and has several technology patents to his credit. He has an abiding interest in strategy and history and is an avid runner.

Hemal Mirani

Hemal Mirani leads the firm’s efforts in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. As Head of APAC, she is the lead executive responsible for our business in the region. Hemal also works closely with the firm’s regional leaders in the Americas and Europe and the Middle East (EMEA). Together, they ensure global alignment on key initiatives and the continued delivery of excellence across our business around the globe.

Srini Nagarajan

Srini joined British International Investment in 2013 to lead the Asia team under the organisation’s new investment strategy. He has the distinction of having been our first overseas employee and recently moved to Singapore to lead BIIs expansion into the Indo-Pacific region. He has been instrumental in building a high-quality portfolio in the region, which focuses across products and sectors.

Under his leadership, BII has a strong presence on the ground and the team has made successful investments in the financial services, healthcare, logistics and renewable energy sectors – including the creation of BII subsidiary Ayana Renewable Power in India, a pioneer renewable energy developer. His role includes support in origination, execution, and management of the portfolio for delivering development goals and value. In addition, he is building BIIs presence in the Southeast Asian markets with a focus on Climate change.

Srini started his career with Standard Chartered Bank both in India and Southern Africa, before joining British International Investment in 1996. He has managed leasing companies in Africa; in India he managed legacy assets for value before moving into mainstream private equity investing for both British International Investment and Actis.

He has a Master’s degree in Economics and a post-graduate qualification in Business Administration from Warwick School of Business.

Ananth N G

Mr. Ananth Narayan is currently a Whole Time Member of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), looking after Market Regulation Department (MRD), Alternative Investment Fund and Foreign Portfolio Investors Department (AFD), Enforcement, Enquiries & Adjudication Department (EAD), Office of Investor Assistance & Education (OIAE), and Department of Economic & Policy Analysis (DEPA).

Prior to this current role, Ananth has had extensive experience of academia, governance, and international banking.

Between 2018 and 2022, Ananth was an Associate Professor at S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai. He also served on several boards, including as Independent Director on SBI Capital Markets, Additional Director (appointed by RBI) on Yes Bank Ltd., Public Interest Director (appointed by SEBI) on NSE Clearing Limited.

Between 2009 and 2017, Ananth was with Standard Chartered Bank, last as Managing Director & Regional Head of Financial Markets, ASEAN and South Asia. Between 2006 & 2009, he was with Deutsche Bank, last as Managing Director, Global Rates, South Asia. Between 1993 & 2005, he was with Citigroup, last as Director, Financial Markets, South Asia.

Ananth has also served on several RBI and SEBI committees and working groups.

Ananth holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and is a Bachelor of Technology (Electrical Engineering) from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

Deepak Padaki

Deepak Padaki President As President of Catamaran, Deepak is responsible for driving the overall performance of the firm’s portfolio by formulating and executing its investment strategy, asset allocation and risk management policies. Deepak has over 30 years of experience in the Global IT Services and Software Product industry. He was Executive Vice President, Group Head of Strategy & Chief Risk Officer at Infosys Limited (NYSE: INFY) until June 2022. He played various roles at Infosys – including Strategy, M&A, Venture Funding, Risk Management, Business Development, Software Engineering and Project Management. He was a member of the Board of Infosys’ Software subsidiaries in Israel, the Netherlands, USA, Japan, and India. He was the Vice President of the Indo-Australian Chamber of Commerce, a lead member of the start-up and Knowledge Management Councils of the Confederation of Indian Industry and a member of the Strategy and Risk Officers’ Councils of the World Economic Forum. In his spare time, he is active in community theatre and serves on the managing committee of Bangalore Little Theatre. Deepak holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Mysore, India.

Mohamed Sharaf

Mohamed Sharaf is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Dubai Economic Development Corporation (DEDC), a subsidiary of Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). 

As the economic development arm of Dubai, DEDC’s mandate is in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33 to further consolidate Dubai’s position as one of the top three global cities.  Mohamed is responsible for promoting economic growth through attraction of Foreign Direct Investment and world class talent to the economy as envisioned under the D33 Agenda.  Additionally, he has a focus on supporting the growth and expansion of Dubai based businesses locally and globally. 

Prior to joining DET, Mohamed was COO and Managing Director of Dubai Holding Entertainment (DHE), where he led operations of Dubai’s largest and most diverse entertainment portfolio including Global Village, Ain Dubai, Coca-Cola Arena, Arabian Radio Network and The Green Planet. During his time with Dubai Holding, he led and managed the successful integration of Dubai Holding and Meraas’ entertainment portfolios to create DHE. He also oversaw the addition of Dubai’s leading theme park destination manager and operator, DXB Entertainment, to the DHE portfolio to form one of the region’s largest entertainment businesses. 

Mohamed previously was the CEO of Arab Media Group, Dubai Holding’s media and entertainment focused vertical.  He has also served as the Chairman of the Board of Malta Properties Company plc and Yvolv LLC, and served as a board member, committee member or board observer at numerous organisations locally and globally including Rove Hospitality, Rivoli Group, Ishraq Holding, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, Travelodge, Doncasters, and StandardAero. 

He began his career as an investment professional with Dubai International Capital (a Dubai Holding investment vehicle) managing a diverse portfolio with assets under management in excess of USD 3 billion invested in regional and global businesses across Europe and the Middle East. 

Mohamed holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Entrepreneurial Leadership from Tufts University in Medford, MA, and a Master’s degree in Finance from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.. He was one of the first students selected for the EDAAD scholarship program me initiated by The Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai, Vice-President & Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.

Sunil Mishra

Sunil specializes in fund selection, due diligence, negotiations, and monitoring of Asian investments ex-China, specifically in India, Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Korea. He also actively participates in all fund investment decisions and is involved in the sourcing, screening, execution, monitoring, and exiting of growth and buyout co-investments.

Prior to joining Adams Street, Sunil worked for Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore performing financial and business analyses of local and regional companies. Previously, he worked in India as an Investment and Strategy Associate in Tacogroup, the automotive technology and engineering investment arm of the Tata Group of India, where he worked on business planning, feasibility studies, and localization plans for new ventures.

Sunil manages relationships with several of Adams Street’s managers and sits on advisory boards of more than a dozen private equity firms within the Adams Street Partners portfolio. He is currently Chairman of the Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCA) and has been a member of the SVCA Board since 2016.

He is also a member of Adams Street’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee.

S. S. Acharya

Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya is the Chairman- cum- Managing Director (CMD), The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd., A Public Sector Organization of Government of India.  Prior to his present assignment, Dr. Acharya was the Chief General Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), New Delhi.

Dr. Acharya is a Ph.D. in Management, Post Graduate in Science (M.Sc.), a Post Graduate in Business Administration (MBA) and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (CAIIB). He has experience of over 3 decades in various facets of MSME Financing and Development including Credit, SME Rating, Risk Management, Bills Financing, New Product Development, Business Planning, Entrepreneurship Development, Innovation financing, Micro-Finance, Start-Up mentoring etc.

Dr. Acharya was a recipient of Prestigious Chevening Fellowship wherein, he underwent a course in Environment Management & Sustainable Development. The program was organized by University of Bradford and University of Manchester, UK on behalf of British Foreign Office who administer the Fellowship through British Council. During his stint there, he had exposure to the working of SMEs in UK where he worked on establishing the commercial benefits of adopting environment friendly technology by comparing the same for SMEs of India and UK. Besides, he has also attended “SME Cluster Development Program” at the prestigious International Training Centre of ILO at Turin, Italy.

Shri Acharya was invited by World Bank to discuss India’s SME Development
Financing Story at Harare, Zimbabwe. He is regularly invited by various B’Schools / Universities / IITs etc. for delivering talks and taking sessions on various facets on a whole range of topics ranging from “Corporate Social Responsibility”, “Entrepreneurship”, “MSME Financing”, “Financial Inclusion”, “Motivational aspects” etc. Shri Acharya has several publications / articles published in various journals to his credit.  He has co-authored to book on Managing Innovation & Incubation titled “Seed to Sapling” : The Incubator Way”.

Dr. Acharya is an adjunct Professor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship Area at ‘Birla Global University,’ Bhubaneswar.

Rajesh Ranavat

Rajesh is an accomplished senior executive who has worked with multi-billion dollar corporations in leadership positions working in several countries across diverse businesses and nationalities with a successful track record. He has more than 30 years of experience in the retail, distribution and logistics of fast-moving consumer goods, fashion and beauty products covering Asia, Middle East, Europe and the US.

Rajesh is currently a Director of Fung Strategic Holdings, the private investment arm of the families of Dr. Victor Fung and Dr. William Fung, the controlling shareholders of the Fung Group. In addition, he is the CEO of FSX Pte Ltd which is the holding company for the Fung family’s investments in India and South-East Asia as well as CEO of Fung Management MENA DMCC based out of Dubai. Rajesh was also a Non-executive Director on the Board of LF Logistics Ltd, which is a multinational logistics company and subsidiary of Li & Fung Group, which was acquired by Maersk, the world’s largest shipping company, for a multi-billion dollar consideration.

Rajesh has been with the Fung Group for the last 25 years in various leadership positions covering operations, strategy, finance and M&A. He was recently the COO and Executive Director of LF Logistics and also Head of Global Freight Management from 2014 to 2019. Prior to this he was based in London as Managing Director – Strategy and M&A for LF Europe, where he completed several strategic deals in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and the US to build a multi-billion on-shore distribution platform for LF Europe and expand the LF Beauty business in the US.

Rajesh joined IDS Group, the logistics and distribution arm of Fung Group, in 1999 as Group Development Director and subsequently as Chief Financial Officer in 2003 where he led the IPO initiative for a successful public listing of IDS in Hong Kong in 2004 as well as completing several M&A deals to grow the global footprint of IDS in Asia, Europe and the US.

Prior to joining the Fung Group Rajesh worked with Inchcape plc a global multinational in various management roles based in the Middle East, UK, Japan and Singapore. Prior to this he worked with PwC, the Big4 global accounting firm in the Middle East and India.

Rajesh holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from India and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant.

Vishnu Amble

Vishnu Amble serves as a Director of GreenBear Group LLC, a single-family office founded in 2006 based in Miami, Florida and Singapore. The GreenBear Group LLC investment program has been active across private markets in developed and emerging regions of the globe, with a specific focus on spinning out and seeding emerging GPs, as well as being active investors in funds and companies, and are members of the Institutional Limited Partners Association (ILPA).

Vishnu also serves as a Director of the family office’s foundation focused on funding access to energy, education, healthcare, and climate change solutions in South and SE Asia. Vishnu has built his 20+ year career in investments and capital markets with such companies as Saudi Aramco, E.ON, The Carlyle Group and Lehman Brothers.  Vishnu earned his Bachelor’s Degrees in Economics and Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.

Ajit Kumar

Ajit Kumar leads Evolvence India Fund, an India focused niche and differentiated PE Fund sponsored by New York Life Insurance/Gold Point Partners and Evolvence Asset Management. He is responsible for the core operations of the fund, from deal originations to exit as well as investor relations and regulatory compliance. During his investment career spread over 25 years he has been involved in Private Equity investments in more than 175 funds, direct and co-investments across various themes and strategies, sectors and geographies. He represents EIF on the Advisory Boards, Investment Committees and board of the various investments. He holds a MBA from London Business School.

Sandeep Sinha

Sandeep Sinha, a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with over 25 years of hands-on operational experience, possesses a deep understanding of private markets. His extensive expertise in venture capital and venture debt has been instrumental in founding Oister Global, a company with a mission to power India. Alternatives, by investing in top-tier PE/VC funds that fuel India growth. 

As the co-founder and managing partner of Lumis Partners, Sandeep has been at the forefront of developing innovative debt based solutions, empowering entrepreneurs to scale their businesses with alternative sources of capital. Sandeep's broad experience in the private market landscape is evidenced by his close involvement with numerous promising startups over the past decade. He also serves on the investment committee of Stride Ventures, a venture debt fund supported by Lumis.

Sandeep's commitment to the industry extends to his participation in the National Skills Committee and his role as Co-Chair of TiE Education SIG, a platform focused on addressing opportunities, challenges, and solutions within the education sector. Before his tenure at Lumis, Sandeep held the position of Senior Director at 3Com Technologies and took part in General Electric's global technology leadership program. Sandeep earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Delhi Institute of Technology and completed his Master's degree at the London School of Economics.

Mr. Saravana Kumar is a Post graduate from IIM- Bangalore, holds degree in B.Tech., Risk management program from GARP- USA, CAIIB from Indian Institute of Bankers and attended Management Development Programme at Merrill Lynch Global Headquarters at New York. He has over 35 years of professional experience in Venture Capital, Private equity, AIF, AMC, Insurance Industry, PMS, SME sector, Finance & Accounts, Risk Management, Resource mobilisation, Treasury management and Corporate planning.

Mr.Kumar  is the CEO of the  NSIC Venture capital Funds. The above said Venture Capital Fund manages the Self Relaint India (SRI) Fund -a fund of funds scheme of Government of India for SMEs. He worked as a Senior management professional in ICICI Ventures and ICICI Bank and worked as Chief Investment Officer in SBI Funds Management, LIC Nomura Funds Management, etc.

He was a Consultative working group committee Member of (a) IRDAI on restructuring the investment for life insurance sector in 2011 (b) SEBI on developing the AIF funds and (c) Core investment committee member of American International Assurance (AIA)-Hong Kong. He had received in person the "World Finance" Award for the Best AIF Fund from London Stock exchange in March 2013. "World Finance" i.e. UK based investment publication had distributed above award.

Nilang Jain

Navjot Kaur

Navjot Kaur is a venture capital investor in India. She has invested across angel/seed, early stage and growth stage investments. While she has invested across sectors in tech enabled startups, a large part of her portfolio is consumer and consumer tech. Navjot has deep expertise in the Indian consumer market. She built consumer internet businesses at BookMyShow, India’s early consumer tech app. Subsequently, she was an early stage investor at Fireside Ventures, India’s leading consumer venture capital firm, where she was on the Board of 9 companies. Earlier in her career, Navjot build a global leading SAAS company within the private equity and venture capital data landscape. Navjot is currently Director at Epiq Capital, a growth stage tech and tech enabled venture capital firm that has invested in companies such as Lenskart, Zepto, Dailyhunt, Cultfit, etc. Having recently raised a $225M fund, she currently manages 300 investors. Navjot is a part of the 11 member VC Council, IVCA (2024-2026).

Satya Prakash Singh

Shri Satya Prakash Singh is currently holding the position of Chief General Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), New Delhi and heading the Venture Finance and Investment Vertical of SIDBI. He is managing the largest sovereign venture fund of funds for start up launched by Govt of India and various state govts. Prior to his current assignment he was the Chief Executive Officer of SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SIDBI. He has a development banking carrier spanning over around three decades and handled several key assignments such as treasury and resources management, credit, micro finance, etc. He has closely worked with multilateral and bilateral agencies for promoting and developing MSMEs in the country.  
 
A Post Graduate in Economics and MBA Finance, Shri Singh has experience of more than 30 years in Banking and Academics. He is a certified associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He has participated in several international programmes on MSME financing and development and represented SIDBI as part of high level delegation for multilateral and bilateral negotiations. He has been on the Boards of several institutions, including national level financial institution.

Jay also leads the investment funds practice of the Firm and regularly represents international and domestic fund managers in relation to structuring, formation and regulation of all kinds of alternative investment funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Infrastructure Investment Trusts, mutual funds, domestic funds and India focused international funds. He has been involved in strategic joint ventures for setting up several funds and negotiates fund documents on behalf of the GP as well as the LPs. Jay frequently advises on the nuances of a dynamic regulatory regime and evolving trends around pooling vehicles and financial intermediaries in India. 
 

Shilpa Mankar Ahluwalia

Ms. Shilpa Mankar Ahluwalia is a Partner in the corporate advisory group of the Firm and focuses on the banking & finance, mergers & acquisitions, and foreign investment practice areas.

Ms. Ahluwalia advises various companies, banks and financial institutions in connection with their financing activities (plain vanilla and structured financings, loan syndication and guarantee structures, securitization structures, equipment financing and issue of non-convertible debentures). Her clients include the International Finance Corporation (The World Bank), Investec Bank, Barclays Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, Standard Chartered Bank, State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited, Deutsche Bank and GE Money. She has also advised several payment services companies such as the American Express Banking Corporation, Microsoft, Paytm, GoIbibo, Flipkart, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Oxygen in respect of their payment products and services. She has advised several factoring companies on their factoring products and strategies in India.

Philippe Micone

Philippe Micone founded noovoleum in 2022 with 2 co-founders, leveraging technology and AI to sustainably collect used cooking oil from communities. Philippe obtained his Ph.D. in chemical engineering (Ecole Polytechnique Montreal) specializing in AI models for gas sensors. After working for the green tech start-up Odotech developing the European and African markets, Philippe joined Shell where he was leading the conventional O&G and biorefinery technology licensing in South East Asia. After leaving Shell, Philippe became the project director of the Sherdar Autsralia Bio Refinery and recently was in the same position for the First Resources Bio Refinery.

Padmanabh Sinha

Padmanabh (Paddy) is a veteran of the Indian investing ecosystem with over 28 years of work experience, primarily in private equity investments, and also as an early tech entrepreneur in India. His investment experience spans several sectors, including industrial, technology, consumer, business services, infrastructure and financial services. He joined the National Investment & Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) in 2021 as an Executive Director and CIO-Private Equity and has been a member of all the Investment Committees for direct investing for NIIF.

Before joining NIIF, he was with Tata Group’s flagship private equity fund, the Tata Opportunities Fund, as its Managing Partner and co-founder. He was instrumental in raising the then-largest India-focused private equity fund in 2013 with investments from marquee global investors. Padmanabh was the Managing Director – India for Temasek where he cofounded and co-led the India office during its successful build-out phase in India. In his stint with Temasek from 2004 onwards Paddy consummated several investments in India and also successfully exited many of these. He additionally led large international projects, including Temasek’s global entry into the insurance sector.

Padmanabh was an early Edtech entrepreneur (eGurucool) in India and before that started his professional career journey with a JP Morgan-ICICI investment banking joint venture. Paddy was also the elected Chairman of the Indian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (IVCA) between 2018 and 2020.

Padmanabh holds a Bachelor in Engineering degree in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, and is an MBA from IIM, Calcutta. He completed an Executive Development Course in Private Equity from Harvard Business School in 2003.

Bhaskar Chaudhry

Bhaskar is part of the direct equity team at Entrust and works on both public and private investments. He has been with the firm for over eight years. Prior to Entrust his experience spans investing and operating roles. He was the CFO of a few startups and helped in scaling up. He was also part of the real estate private equity team at Credit Suisse and the PMS team at Kotak Securities. He is a graduate of IIM Bangalore and BITS Pilani.

Anoop Tulsyan

Mr. Anoop Tulsyan has a wealth of experience  spanning more than 20 years in the financial services industry. He is thorough professional with a diverse background in the areas of Accounts & Finance. Prior to joining Ashok Goel Family Office as the Group Chief Financial Officer, Mr.Tulsyan has held positions at AION Capital Partners, a private equity funds  managed jointly by ICICI Venture and Apollo USA, and at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited. He has made significant contributions to the growth of these organizations during his tenure, and has gain extensive experience in portfolio monitoring, financial advisory, equity research, financial analysis and taxation. Amit Kansal

Mr. Amit Kansal has more than 22 years of experience across Aditya Birla Capital, ICICI Bank, E&Y among others and has been with Aditya Birla Capital for ~ 14 years.

He conceptualized, operationalized and headed the Business function for Special Situations/Stressed Asset Platform including JV with Värde Partners (US based Credit Fund) for Aditya Birla Capital. He was involved in some of the most marquee deals like largest  One Time Cash Settlement, largest debt cash buyout apart from various holding company and acquisition finance transactions.

Earlier, he led the Project & Structured Finance vertical for North & East for Aditya Birla Finance. His role spanned project linked lending, structured debt and corporate finance solutions to large and mid-market corporate houses. He has covered Infrastructure, Core, Manufacturing, Hospitality, Real Estate among others.

With extensive deal exposure across Banks, NBFCs & Special Situation investing (including global best practices), Amit has worked across the credit spectrum with investment.

Dr. Nishanth Dongari

Dr. Nishanth Dongari Founder & Managing Director, Pure EV Dr. Nishanth Dongari has been at the helm of Pure EV as its founder and managing director since 2018. With a focus on strategic planning, fostering collaborations, and joint ventures, he has proven to be an invaluable asset to the company. His visionary approach has led to the expansion of the company's product portfolio, diversifying its offerings beyond electric scooters to meet the evolving needs of the electric vehicle ecosystem.

Under his strong leadership, PURE EV has become a key player in the electric mobility sector, promoting sustainable transportation solutions while significantly reducing carbon emissions through innovative electric scooters and motorcycles. In addition to his role at PURE EV, Dr. Dongari is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, where he contributes to research on advanced energy systems for DRDO. He has previously made significant contributions to the design of complicated mobility systems and high-altitude missiles for India's ambitious Mission Gaganyan, as well as thrusters and thermal analysis for missile operations under Project Shakti. Dr. Dongari was instrumental in the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) program, in terms of system integration, algorithm development, and the thermal management of missile components.

He is a B Tech in Mech Engineering from IIT Bombay and holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, (UK) - Marie Curie Fellow. His academic background includes a strong focus on aerospace engineering, rarefied gas dynamics, and renewable energy technologies.

Dr. Dongari's vision aligns with the global shift towards eco-friendly technologies, making him a notable figure in advancing electric vehicle adoption in India.

Nitesh Aggarwal

Nitesh Aggarwal is the Chief Investment Officer at Baldota Family Office fund with a deployable corpus of $130mn. The investment focus in to largely invest in the unlisted space into start-ups and VC/PE funds. They have already deployed ~40mn across 35 funds and 25 start-ups across India/US and Israel.

An alumnus of Indian Institute of Management - Bangalore, he has over 17 years of experience investing in the PE/VC asset class.

Rakshat Kapoor leads the private credit strategy for funds under management by Modulus Alternatives. He founded Modulus Alternatives in September 2018 and has established a stable private credit investment platform.

With over 22 years of experience, Rakshat has specialized in turnaround situations, restructurings, distressed debt, and private equity. He has led investments across diverse sectors, including infrastructure, cement, industrials, manufacturing, textiles, oil & gas, and telecom. His expertise lies in deal origination and providing customized financial solutions across the capital structure.

Prior to founding Modulus Alternatives, Mr. Kapoor worked with Nomura and Deutsche Bank, focusing on private credit and debt capital markets. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant. 

 

Devashish Khanna

Devashish has been in the Family Office Investing space for the last 18 years and has led 4 Family Offices in India. He has spent time across asset classes with passion to invest in Private Markets. Current portfolio has more than 15 LP positions and 40 direct investments.

Sharad Malpani

Sharad currently co-heads IVen Amplifi Fund which is a new early growth fund from ICICI Venture. He joined ICICI Venture’s Private Equity team in 2016. He has over 23 years of experience with ICICI Group, spanning across operating businesses, strategy, advisory & investments. He has spent last 14 years in Private Equity investment business and has managed transactions at multiple stages of the business with smaller to larger ticket sizes. Sharad has worked on transactions across sectors which include Consumer / Consumertech, BFSI / fintech, Agri, Manufacturing etc. He was founding member of team for early-stage growth private equity investment fund & has managed full life cycle of the fund. He also heads the ESG responsibilities for private equity business at ICICI Venture.

In his earlier role with SME Group of ICICI Bank, Sharad has seen larger set of companies across multiple industries across economic cycles. Sharad has also spent time with International Banking Group earlier with assignments in various countries.
