Bhavdeep Singh, CEO, Fortis Healthcare
Mr Bhavdeep Singh is the CEO of Fortis Healthcare, this being his second stint as the Chief Executive Officer of the organization. At Fortis, Mr. Singh is driving a strong push towards bringing great patient care to every patient in every hospital, every single day. In addition to driving patient care, the clinical team at Fortis is driving a strong push towards clinical excellence on multiple fronts. At a time when the disease burden continues to grow in India, Mr Singh and the Fortis Healthcare team are taking the lead in helping India becoming a healthier nation.
Mr Singh is an acknowledged business leader and a seasoned professional, with over 25 years of experience. He has held senior executive roles in Healthcare, Human Resources and Retail. He has worked across multiple geographies and has a strong track record of building and leading great teams whilst delivering exceptional results.
Prior to joining Fortis, Mr Bhavdeep Singh was with Ahold, a 26 USD billion retailer with almost 800 stores. He was with the company for almost five years and served on the company’s executive board. While there, he was EVP of HR and then went on to head Ahold’s US operations and the new formats business. In addition, prior to his initial stint at Fortis, Mr. Singh ran Reliance Retail in India and was at the helm when Reliance opened up more than 700 new stores in less than two years.
Mr Singh attended Pace University and completed several certified courses in Leadership and Executive Management from premier institutions such as the Harvard Business School, Cornell University, University of Hartford, Dial Institute of Management and St. Joe’s University in the United States.

Bhavesh A Shah is Managing Director - Investment Banking at JM Financial. He currently heads the Financial Sponsor Group. He has an experience of over 15 years in Investment Banking and is focussed on deal origination and execution across sectors. He has been associated,as the key deal maker, with some of the significant and marquee deals in the Private Equity and capital markets space.In 2006, he was with Morgan Stanley, Hong Kong, for a brief period covering the private equity investors on Asia Pacific basis.Prior to Investment Banking, he spent four years in Equity Research with JM Financial group and CERC. Bhavesh is a CFA charterholder from ICFAI, India,as well asfrom the CFA Institute, Virginia, USA.

Bhavin Mody, Director E-Billing solutions Pvt. Ltd., can be described as an ambassador of the electronic payments space and has been in the business for almost a decade. In his present role, he manages end to end business profitability, IT, Operation and Risk Management solutions. He is also responsible for designing the acquisition strategy and CRM strategy. He is a thought leader, who, through his profound industry knowledge, identifies and charts trends in the payment gateway space and forecasts the future industry potentials.
During his past experience, he has been instrumental in developing e-payment products in various brands like ICICI bank, in card and mobile payments, Electracard Services and Movida India Pvt. Ltd. He is recognized and appreciated in the industry for his Business management skills, Sales Channel Management, Portfolio Valuation etc.
Bhavin is a computer engineer by qualification and holds a degree in B.E Computers. He pursued his Post Graduation in Finance and Marketing from IIM Lucknow. Aided by strategic insights and a keen understanding of his domain, Bhavin envisions transforming EBS into a leading online commerce enabler and evolve it from being a product centric services firm to becoming customer-centric.

In 2006, Bhavin recognized the vast potential in bringing online games to a nascent market in India and discontinued his fully funded PhD program at New York University to establish the business in Mumbai. As good as Bhavin is at organizing and managing people and tasks, his real effectiveness as a leader comes from his unfailing focus on the player. From the very first launch of rummy games on Games24x7.com (now RummyCircle.com) in 2008 to the launch of RummyCircle.com on smart phones in 2014, Bhavin has successfully led the RummyCircle team from one frontier to another. Bhavin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters degree in Economics from New York University.

Bhavish started Ola cabs in December 2010, along with Ankit Bhati, a fellow IIT Bombay alumni and aims to change the way we travel in and around our cities revolutionizing the personal transportation industry. He has a Bachelors in Computers Science from IIT Bombay.

With a deep understanding of both onshore and offshore fund mechanisms, he ensures every investment is strategically structured and performance-driven.
