Biju Mohandas, Director, Acumen Fund

As Business Manager, Biju Mohandas assists the country director in managing investments across portfolios and also heads the compliance and financial operations of the India office. Biju has about a decade of experience in the health care sector which has ranged from clinical care and operations management to venture capital investments in early stage healthcare companies during his tenure at the Acumen fund. He has an MBA from the Indian school of business specializing in analytical finance and strategic marketing.


Bikash Jhawar, Partner, L&L Law Offices

Bikash’s practice focuses primarily on rendering corporate legal advisory, and assisting clients undertaking investments, Joint Ventures and M&A activities in India, or Indian clients looking at similar activities offshore.

He has a vast experience of Indian foreign investment regulations & practices, and is sought out for advice on structuring investments into India.

His work has covered multiple sectors including Logistics, Infrastructure, Media & Technology, Renewable Energy, Real Estate, Stressed Assets, Financial Services and Asset Management.

Bikash, as part of the Insolvency and Restructuring Practice, has acted on mandates on behalf of resolution professional, committee of creditors and prospective and successful resolution applicants in the restructuring and resolution of companies undergoing corporate insolvency resolution process.

He also assists Indian and foreign clients in legal risk management, and continuous legal review & support of their operations in India.


Bikram Mahajan, Director - Neev Fund, SBICAP Ventures Limited

Bikram has over a decade of experience in private equity with investment experience spanning North America, Europe and Asia with a specific focus on India.

Bikram holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Allahabad.

Based in New Delhi, Bill Spindle is the South Asia bureau chief for The Wall Street Journal. Prior to this assignment, he was the Journal's senior reporting covering global energy issues and before that the Middle East bureau chief. He has also overseen coverage of Africa and Central Asia, served as the assistant foreign editor and worked as a correspondent covering the financial industry in Japan.

Binil Antony, a Co-founder at Dexetra is responsible for the Business and Marketing activities of the company apart form dealing with the Finances and the Operations aspects.

Binil completed his Bachelors in Technology from M.G. University in 2007 and subsequently completed his Masters from the University of Plymouth in 2009.


Binny Bansal, COO & Co-founder, Flipkart.com

Binny Bansal, 27, from Chandigarh, is the co-founder and COO of Flipkart.com. A Computer Science Graduate from IIT Delhi(classmate of Sachin Bansal), Binny started his career at Sarnoff India as a software engineer, working on US Defence Projects. His next destination was Amazon.com, where he realized his interest in and the potential of e-commerce in the country.

In 2007, Binny along with long time friend, Sachin, launched Flipkart.com; retailing books to begin with but with dreams of dominating the Indian e-commerce market. At Flipkart, Binny is the force behind getting the customer interface and logistics right and that has been a constant challenge with Flipkart continually exploring new product categories and market segments. Binny believes that with its strong focus on technology and delivery, the Flipkart team will constantly better their services to match customer expectations and compete with the best, globally. Binny is passionate about sports and loves to travel when he has the time!

Bipin Preet Singh, Founder & CEO, MobiKwik

Bipin is the founder and CEO of the Indian Mobile Wallet Major, MobiKwik. He founded MobiKwik with the vision to transform the digital payments landscape in the country, which was close to nil when the company started operations in 2009. Under his vision, MobiKwik has grown from a recharge & bill payment platform to the largest independent mobile payments network in India, enabling 50 million users and 1.4 million business to go cashless. The company was also one of the largest contributors in facilitating digital payments during the recently executed remonetisation in the country.

In near future, MobiKwik will become the port of call for all financial services. The company’s vision is to become India’s most simple-to- use, large scale, financial distribution platform in the next 2-3 years through mobile internet technology by enabling Indians to make & collect payments, access credit, investments, insurance etc., seamlessly, instantly and at the click of a button. Bipin has worn several hats at MobiKwik, from engineering to leading the business development, marketing, and advertising teams. Bipin’s immediate focus is to enable 5 million business owners and 150 mn users in India with digital payments in 2017.

Prior to his entrepreneurial journey, Bipin spent 7 years as a Platform Architect at companies such as Intel, Nvidia, and Freescale.

Bipin is an engineering graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. At the age of 29, when faced with a choice to spend his savings on an expensive B-school degree from a top university in the US or use the money to startup, Bipin chose the latter. It was a decision that saw him making a difficult shift from hardware to software, learn programming from scratch and bootstrap his way to success.  Given his success as a seasoned entrepreneur Fortune featured him under the prestigious "40 under 40" list for 2016.
