Abhishek Gupta heads Marketing at The MobileStore (TMS).
The MobileStore (TMS) is India's largest telecom retailer, with over 900 stores, spread across over 125 cities. He leads TMS’s brand and format strategy and communication all customer touch points. He also drives the loyalty initiatives for TMS. He has been a speaker at various seminars as well as guest faculty for management institutes. He was recentlyrecognized as one of 25 most outstanding marketing professionals of the country by World Brand Congress and CMO council of Asia.
Prior to this, he has worked with Bharti Retail Limited for five years - where he was instrumental in launching the brand Easyday in the country. In his last assignment with Bharti Retail he was heading Store Experience.
He has also worked with Spencers Retail Limited, ICICI Bank and Shoppers Stop Limited. He started his career with Shoppers Stop Limited (SSL) as a management trainee. His last assignment at SSL was heading the marketing for the western zone. In ICICI Bank, he has handled different roles – from Sales to Product management for the mortgages division of the Bank. He has an overall experience of more than 14 years.
Abhishek is a Mechanical Engineer from University of Pune and a management graduate from ITM Business School.

He was directly involved in designing the product and developing the algorithms for its various functions--some of them are patent pending. A constant focus on innovation and delivering products which are useful in everyday life is his vision for the company. SenseGiz. He is on the board of 3 healthcare investments of Samara: Asian Institute of Gastroenterology - super specialty hospital focussed on medical and surgical gastroenterology Lotus Surgicals - Fast growing company in the surgical consumables and devices space SMT - Leading Indian stents company. Abhishek is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.

Abhishek Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer, Regency Health
He completed his undergraduate from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver majoring in Finance and Human Resource. Post which Abhishek worked with PriceWater House Coopers, Ernst & Young, American Appraisal and Deloitte with the strategy consulting and merger and acquisition valuation practice. To hone his managerial skills, he went on to get his MBA from the prestigious Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Chicago. Post his MBA he worked at Davita, the largest Kidney dialysis chain, in the United States, before returning to Kanpur to assist Regency in expanding and achieving its vision.

Abhishek Kapoor, SVP - Strategy, Regency Healthcare
Mr.Abhishek Kapoor currently serves the healthcare industry as Senior Vice President – Strategy, Regency Healthcare, Kanpur.
In his career span he has been associated with PriceWater House Coopers, Ernst & Young, American Appraisal and Deloitte with the strategy consulting and merger and acquisition valuation practice.
After acquiring his MBA degree he has worked with Davita, the largest Kidney dialysis chain, in the United States of America, before returning to Kanpur to assist Regency Healthcare in expanding and achieving its vision.
Abhishek’s vision was to reach tertiary healthcare to every doorstep in U. P. His vision was to break barriers of the medical fraternity and provide the advanced treatment solutions that patients from U. P. had to travel to a metro to access for their diseases to be treated. This he dreamt would be possible with strategy and planning for expansion of Regency Healthcare to every corner of the state. But he recognized the need for advanced medical equipment and machinery, further investment in advanced diagnostics and most importantly, doctors who shared his vision and commitment to make India as disease free as possible.
With new strategies put in place by Abhishek Kapoor, the group secured funding towards expansion and Regency graduated from Regency Hospitals to Regency Healthcare; grew in numbers also, to five facilities. Regency today provides a comprehensive cancer treatment; dialysis centre; is soon to launch a south Kanpur multi-specialty unit in Govind Nagar and is planned for an expansion outside Kanpur in the future.

Abhishek has close to 15 years of experience in consumer industries including media, technology and e-commerce and start-up space. Over the course of his illustrious career, he has successfully closed over 20 deals including investments, cross-border mergers, acquisitions & joint ventures.
Abhishek has led the largest acquisition deals in the internet space in India, investments in technology start-ups including in ad-tech, consumer internet, hardware, SaaS and e-commerce enablers for a Venture Capital Fund and currently implementing inorganic growth strategy via strategic investments and acquisitions.

With over 15+ years of cross-functional work experience, Abhishek Lal has joined adidas group India as the Ecommerce Director. In adidas he is currently managing the development and implementation of 360 degree Omni Channel strategy in India. He is responsible for all aspects of enabling Omni Channel commerce success by integrating online (Web/Mobile) to offline (Bricks and Mortar).
During his vast career, he has gained expertise in different areas like manufacturing, product development, retail operations, merchandising & Internet marketing.
He has worked with major brands like Unilever, Adidas, Puma & Intersport across different geographies like India, Switzerland, Germany, Middle East & Africa.
An alumni of Delhi University (Computer Science), Footwear Design & Development Institute (Footwear Technology) and Faculty of Management Studies (MBA), his in-depth understanding of industry and knowledge about the sector & products is an advantage that he adds to the ventures he works for.
Working in Technology, Retail and Sales & Marketing functions, experience in various advance technology platforms, evaluating ability for different technology/E-Commerce platforms, has resulted in successful achievement of the organizations’ business goals wherever he has worked. In his previous endeavor, he was the CEO & Co-founder of the online shoe store Bestylish.com.
