Apoorva Patni is involved with growing & incubating different businesses across Healthcare and IT services space. He has spearheaded the launch of Currae brand in healthcare with the first 4 hospitals being commissioned in record time of 9 months. Currae is among the fastest growing healthcare brands in India lending an experience of hassle free healthcare through its hospitals. The vision is to open 20 hospitals across Ophthalmology, Woman care and Orthopedics by 2020.
Apoorva has recently launched a Healthtech fund called Currae Healthtech Fund. With the Group’s deep experience in technology and Healthcare through its operating businesses, the Fund has been making seed/VC style investments in companies that are using technology to disrupt the healthcare space in India. The fund has made 15 investments in the past 18 months making it one of the more active players in the health tech space. The investments are spread across Data Analytics, Genomics, Devices, Tele-medicine, Doctor Networks and Healthcare market places.
Apoorva Patni is from the Patni Group, which was the first group to start IT Services in India pioneering the IT offshoring business model.

Apurv Nagpal has been appointed Managing Director of Saregama India Ltd, an RPG Group Company. Mr Nagpal, 37, an MBA from IIM-A, has national & international exposure of over 15 years across companies like P&G, BAT, Reckitt Benckiser and SABMiller. He is an avid music listener and movie buff and has been regularly reviewing films on his blog for the last 2 years.
Saregama India Ltd is rapidly transforming itself from a music company into an entertainment company. While it has been intimately associated with the development of Indian music from its very inception and has a library of over 300,000 songs, it is now an emerging player in TV software, radio content, events, digital exploitation, and has recently signed mainstream films with Abbas Tyrewala, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Apoorva Lakhia.

- Advising and assisting one of the largest Japanese conglomerates in connection with certain purchase of assets of Amtek Auto Limited, a company that underwent corporate insolvency resolution process under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
- Advising and assisting TA Private Capital (a Hong Kong based debt fund) with respect to funding of the acquisition of an Indian food processing company undergoing corporate insolvency resolution process under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
- Advising and assisting ACRE India on several transactions involving the purchase of stressed assets (under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 as well as prior to the commencement of insolvency proceedings).

- Advised Baxter Healthcare Corporation, a leading US-based pharmaceutical company in its 100% acquisition of Claris Injectables Limited, an Indian pharmaceutical company manufacturing sterile injectables.
- Advised Mylan Group in connect with an asset sale transaction involving purchase of reproductive health and fertility treatment of another global pharmaceutical company.
- Assisted Omnicom Group on its sale of global businesses of Sellbytel Group to Webhelp.
- Advised and assisted Henkel AG & Co. KGaA in relation to the acquisition of the Darex Packaging Technologies business, a business segment of GCP Applied Technologies.

Apurva’s practice focuses primarily on rendering advice on Private Equity, M&A transactions including distressed M&A (carried out under the Indian Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code). She assists Indian and international investors as well as target companies with structuring and documenting acquisition and divestment transactions, across various sectors and in the listed as well as unlisted space.
Before joining the Firm, she has worked with various leading Indian corporate law firms in Mumbai such as AZB & Partners, Amarchand Managaldas & Suresh A. Shroff, JSA, and most recently, Samvad Partners. Apurva has over a decade of experience in executing complex acquisition transactions including PIPE deals and transactions that were governed by multi-regulatory regimes.

Apurva Patel, Director, IDFC Alternatives
Apurva has had a wide range of experiences in financial services, across principal investments, investment banking, leveraged finance and equity research - both in India and the United States. In addition, he has had operating experience as head of Marketing and Business Development at NuView, a U.S. based software developer. He joined IDFC Private Equity in 2009, prior to which he was a founding member and Head of the Mumbai office of Brevan Howard's India Fund.
Prior to that, Apurva was at ICICI Venture, where he completed a variety of transactions including growth equity, leveraged buyout and royalty financing. In the United States, Apurva worked at leading banks including Morgan Stanley and Bank of America. Along the way he co-founded India Index Fund LLC, the first pooled-investment vehicle offering index fund investing in India for overseas investors.
Apurva received an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, is a member of the aInstitute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Founding Board Member of the Association of Senior Living India (ASLI). His wife and he enjoy fusion and classical music, cooking, scuba diving and travelling.

Mr. Apurva Shetty is the Co-founder & COO of SenseGiz Technologies. He graduated in Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics in 2010 and decided against the rule of herd mentality of settling with an IT industry job. He started his career as a design engineer along with the responsibility of handling the assembly line in Geared Hydropower Pvt Ltd. Apurva climbed the steps of progress and became the Plant In charge within a year.
In 2012, he met Abhishek Latthe his college mate & they came up with some ideas which would help the society. As a result SenseGiz was born in 2013. Throughout his career, Apurva has consistently attained new business growth beyond all expectations. Working against all odds he tripled the turnover of Geared Hydropower with adding OEM’s to their customer portal along with marking its global footprint.
Apurva then went on to become the COO of SenseGiz accepting the challenge of establishing it in a tier 2 city when IOT was new to the country itself. He built a motivated young and energetic team of SenseGiz along with making it possible to indigenously design develop and assemble the product.

Archana Bhaskar is the Chief Human Resource Officer at Dr. Reddy’s and a member of the Management Council.
Archana joined Dr. Reddy’s in June 2017 and has over 25 years of people management experience across diverse industries, geographies and companies. Prior to joining Dr. Reddy’s, Archana was with Royal Dutch Shell, Singapore, where she headed Human Resources for the Global Commercial businesses. Earlier, she has worked with Unilever, where she held positions of European and global responsibility, as well as large Indian corporations with whom she consulted in professionalising HR policies and practices.
Archana is an alumnus of Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, where she majored in Psychology & Mathematics, and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, from where she completed her Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
