Anthony Esthakku is the Head of Products, Payments & Platform, leading the liability and digital products, payment solutions and digital platforms at DBS Bank India. He carries a rich working experience of over 2 decades across diverse areas like Banking, Payments, Finance & Technology where he led various strategic digital payment products like Mobile wallets, NFC payments and e-Commerce implementation, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Debit & Prepaid Cards.
Previously, he has worked with leading institutions like Aditya Birla Payments Bank, National Payments Corporation of India-RuPay (India’s own domestic payment scheme), Kotak Mahindra Bank.
Anthony holds a Post Graduate Management degree from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), one of the premier management institutes in India.
Anthony Schiavo, Senior Analyst, Lux Research
Anthony Schiavo is an Analyst based in Lux Research's Singapore office. He leads the Advanced Materials team and supports the broader materials research at Lux. Under his leadership, the Advanced Materials team conducts research on technical and market trends in areas such as future materials platforms, advanced structural materials, and coatings. His expertise also includes new technological innovations in digital manufacturing, materials informatics, and advanced design technologies. Anthony often is called upon to provide strategic advice and guidance for executives in the automotive, chemicals, and consumer goods industries.
Anthony received a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech. During his tenure at Virginia Tech, Anthony focused his research activities on biomaterial composites and nanoparticle technology and ethics.
Anu Acharya, CEO, Mapmygenome
Ms. Anu Acharya is co-founder and CEO of Mapmygenome India, a company that pioneered the field of personalised, preventive healthcare by making personal genomics tools available to the masses. With a vision to “Touch 100 million lives”, Mapmygenome was established in 2013, heralding the advent of improved healthcare through genomics based personalised, precision medicine in India.
Ever since, she has successfully pioneered the company through growing product lines, expanding affiliate network and has received funding from stalwarts like Mr. Ratan Tata and Mr. Rajan Anandan and more. She is a distinguished alumna from IIT Kharagpur. Under her leadership, the company has gone from strength to strength, achieving several milestones, awards and honors. From the ET startup Awards to NASSCOM Emerge 50, WSJ’s Top global startups award, Red Herring Asia and Global to the recently conferred Pride of Telangana award; Mapmygenome has certainly become a force to be reckoned with.
Her entrepreneurial journey began back in 2000, when she founded Ocimum Biosolutions - a global genomics outsourcing partner for discovery, development and diagnostics. With her at the helm as CEO for 13 years, Ocimum flourished through three strategic international acquisitions, two capital raises for equity investments and launch of several innovative products, solutions and services through its proprietary platform called RaaS (Research as a Service). An entrepreneurial success
story that made its way into the Harvard Business Review as a case study.
An author of several research papers published in major journals, various articles for journals like Nature, Ms. Anu Acharya recently received early publication approval for her patent for SNaPpy - the genetic risk prediction algorithm developed in-house at Mapmygenome. A fiercely respected entrepreneur, she also serves as a governing board member for various high profile institutions such as the NIBMG,NIAB, KIIT, IvyCap Ventures, CSIR and ABLE to name a few.

Anu holds a Masters from the Civil and Environmental Engineering program at the University of California, Berkeley where her research focused on the optimization of piped networked systems in emerging economies. Anu was listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 List Asia in 2016, and the United States in 2012. Anu is an INK fellow, TED speaker, and also serves on the UC Berkeley Civil and Environmental Engineering Advisory Counsel. NextDrop was selected as Fast Company's #5 Most Innovative Company in India, 2016.

Anu has approx. 13 years of experience in M&A, private equity, financial services, emerging technologies (blockchain, payment systems, cryptocurrency, etc) and general corporate advisory.
Anu regularly advises banks, non-banks (NBFCs), asset managers, securities market intermediaries, global information technology (IT) and payments/ fintech players on M&A (both domestic and cross-border) and regulatory aspects. His practice includes advising on cyber-security, financial crimes and regulatory investigations.
He has been invited for several policy initiatives, including as a Member of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) – Fintech Working Group; Member of the Legal Advisory Sub-Committee, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Committee on Household Finance (2017); SEBI Working Group on amendments to the Mutual Fund Regulations (2018), etc. He has published on a broad range of topics in a number of scholarly journals in law, finance and economics.

Anubhav Kapoor is Tata Technologies’ General Counsel and Company Secretary and is based out of Pune. Anubhav is responsible for Tata Technologies’ global legal, IP, regulatory compliance and corporate governance practices and policies. Anubhav has about 24 years of experience. Before joining Tata Technologies, Anubhav has worked with Polaris Software, Domino’s Pizza, Allied Nippon to name a few in a similar role.
Anubhav has handled multifarious areas such as structuring strategic business contracts, IPR, global compliance design and audits, legal due diligence, M&A, arbitration & litigation management. Also being a corporate secretary he has also dealt with high visibility boards and handled complex matters including those related to corporate governance, sustainability, insider trading, private & public offerings. He is passionate about innovation and IPR and also heads the Corporate Sustainability and CSR practices globally.
Anubhav experience as in-house counsel spans across various industries including automotive, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, food, banking and insurance software’s and engineering. He has helped corporates devise their IP strategy including setting up of an IP department and led IP teams in large corporates. Mr. Kapoor has also handled contracts and litigations involving complex IP issues and handled patent, copyright, trade secret and trademark infringement cases. He has also been involved with IP issues during M&A, spin-out and joint venture deals during his long career. He has spoken on several national and international forums on topics related to IP. More recently he was listed in Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) Strategy 300 (http://www.iam-media.com/Strategy300/) among the world’s leading IP strategist and awarded as Star General Counsel 2017 of the year by Legal Era.

Anuj Bugga is a managing director in the Global Risk and Investigations practice of FTI Consulting and he is based in Mumbai. He has extensive experience in counterparty due diligence, vendor risk management, fraud investigations, employee screening and providing strategic risk mitigation solutions on a broad spectrum of issues and events.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Bugga was vice president in Morgan Stanley for seven years as the head of Corporate Security & Investigations, West Asia and Regional Security Audit Director, Asia Pacific. Prior to joining the corporate sector, he spent 16 years in the Indian Army as a combat engineer. As an engineer planning officer and field company commander, he was in-charge of planning and implementing engineering works involving multi-million dollar budgets. During his service in the Indian Army, he conducted complex investigations relating to counterfeiting fraud and the pilferage of military supplies and equipment. Mr. Bugga also served as a field intelligence officer.
