Mr.Vikram Gupta is the Founder & Managing Partner of IvyCap Ventures Advisors Private Limited. He has about 20 years of experience in Venture Capital, Business Consulting, M&A, Strategy and Technology in Healthcare and Life Sciences, Education, Consumer and other industries. He has also held leadership positions across various well-known companies in India and Abroad. Mr.Vikram Gupta set up India’s First Healthcare and Life Sciences Venture Capital Fund and invested across the sector. Mr.Gupta also managed Clinical Genomics practice for IBM’s Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical in the US.  He has also been an entrepreneur himself in the areas of technology and healthcare.

IvyCap Ventures is a Venture Capital Fund that manages over USD 150 mn across two funds and invests in startup’s in Technology, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Education and other areas. The Fund has already made substantial investments in the Indian Startup ecosystem including in Leixir, RML, Aujas, Vinculum, Sokrati, Taskbob, FT Cash, Fieldez, Clovia, Eshakti, Bluestone, Purplle & GrabonRent.

Mr.Vikram Gupta  has completed his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi and has an MBA degrees in Strategy and Finance from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

Vikram specialises in due diligences in healthcare and pharma, industrial manufacturing, construction, real estate and IT sectors. He specialises in identifying potential deal breakers, evaluating the impact of accounting, tax and business issues on valuation models, assisting in negotiating due diligence issues and providing inputs into transaction documents.

Vikram's experience spans a cross-section of our clients, both multinational and leading Indian business houses, on both the buy and sell side on Indian and cross border (inbound as well as outbound) transactions. He has been involved in several data rooms, full access due diligences, carve outs, model reviews and supporting negotiations for various transactions in these sectors for large private equity funds and strategic players. Vikram also has considerable sell side experience and has led vendor due diligence and data room management assignments.

Vikram's private equity clients include Temasek, JP Morgan, Carlyle Group, TPG, Actis, Olympus Capital, Goldman Sachs and ICICI Venture. His corporate clients include: The Apollo group, The Sanmar group, i-Flex, TCS, Covansys, Subhiksha, SameGreaves, Star TV, Omnicom, and Carborandum Universal. His recent healthcare and pharmaceutical experiences are:- assisted Apax partners in its investment in the Apollo hospitals; assisted Blackstone in its investment in Emcure pharmaceuticals; assisted Ranbaxy in its acquisition of Terapia; assisted Shasun Chemicals in its acquisition of 2 chemical plants of the Rhodia group of companies in UK.

Vikam Jain with over 15 years of experience in strategy, operations, and technology consulting is Associate Director at FSG. During his time at FSG, Vikram has led the low-income housing (LIH) program in India. He is responsible for defining the LIH program agenda and managing relationships in the LIH ecosystem, including developers, housing finance companies, and government. As co-lead of the livelihoods program, Vikram has also worked on identifying opportunities to skill school dropouts and place them in jobs.

Prior to joining FSG, Vikram worked with Monitor Inclusive Markets (MIM), as lead of the low-income housing practice, where he led numerous engagements advising the government (e.g. Affordable Housing Task Force, Odisha Government) on conducive policy to catalyze the LIH sector.Prior to MIM, Vikram worked for McKinsey & Company, London as an engagement manager advising top-tier investment banks and retail banks on acquisitions. Vikram is a Bachelor in Engineering in Computer Science from Pune University and has done MBA from London Business School.

Vikram Kumar brings 15 years of experience in analytics delivering unusual results for companies as Microsoft Corporation, Apollo, Manipal Hospitals and 6 of India's 9 largest hospitals in addition to largest chains of Africa and Middle East. He is co-founder and CEO of Multiplier Solutions, a leading healthcare analytics solutions company that over 5 years has delivered over USD 10 million of incremental revenue to leading healthcare firms. Vikram is an MBA from IIM Calcutta and engineer from IIT-BHU post which he worked as 1st employee of indya.com which he helped launch what became a $50 million investment from Rupert Murdoch and brief stint at ANZ investment bank where he helped used analytics to develop new models for financing.

After a decade delivering advanced predictive analytics solutions for global marketing operations of Microsoft USA, he had an accident that shifted his interest to healthcare, Over last five years his team has helped leading healthcare firms develop advanced disease prediction models and leverage newer technology as machine learning, big data to deliver next generation of personalized patient care. Multiplier Solutions was founded 5 years ago and has 35 employees. It is angel funded by international investors.

Vikram has the charter is to grow the Pointnext business comprising of Advisory, Professional and Operational Services at business Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) India Pvt. Ltd.

Vikram is a seasoned IT professional with over 23 years of rich experience in diverse roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HCL Infosystems Ltd. He comes with a strong background in Solution Selling, Account Management, Alliances and Product Management. In his 20 years tenure at HPE, he worked in various business units in Sales, Server, Storage, Software & Services.

Vikram has done his P.G.D.M. from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and B.E. (Electronics & Communication Engineering) Osmania University, Hyderabad.


Vikram Limaye, MD & CEO, NSE

Mr. Vikram Limaye is the Managing Director and CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) which is the world’s second largest exchange in cash market trades and one of the top three exchanges in index and stock derivatives volumes. Prior to joining NSE, he was the Managing Director & CEO of IDFC Limited, a diversified financial services conglomerate. He started his professional career with Arthur Andersen in Mumbai in 1987 while pursuing his Chartered Accountancy and worked in the audit and business advisory services groups of Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and the consumer banking group of Citibank before going to the US in 1994 to pursue a MBA. After completing his MBA, he worked on Wall Street in USA for 8 years with Credit Suisse First Boston in a variety of roles in investment banking, capital markets, structured finance and credit portfolio management before returning to Mumbai, India in 2004.

He has contributed to various committees of government and industry associations on a range of topics surrounding infrastructure, economic policy, markets, trade, minority affairs etc. He has been a speaker at various domestic and international conferences and has been part of international government delegations for infrastructure and foreign direct investments into India. He has also been on the boards of various corporates, educational institutions and not for profit ganisations.

He completed his Bachelors in Commerce from HR College of Commerce & Economics, Chartered Accountancy and a MBA in Finance and Multinational Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.


Vikram Narula, Co-MD, The Carlyle Group

Vikram Nirula is a Managing Director of the Asia Buyout advisory team, focusing on investment activities in India.  He is based in Mumbai.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Nirula was a Partner at True North Managers LLC (formerly India Value Fund Advisors) for over 18 years. As part of True North’s founding team, Vikram was involved with the firm strategy, building its team and managing investor relationship.  He led investments across diverse industries, including consumer, financial services and industrials and served on the Boards of several portfolio companies.

Vikram has received his post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and has a Bachelor's Degree in engineering (computer science) from Birla Institute of Technology.


Vikram Nirula, Partner, India Value Fund Advisors

Vikram has been with IVFA since March 2000 and was actively involved in setting up the Firm. He is based in Mumbai and is currently responsible for investments in diverse industries including consumer, retail, financial services and industrials, amongst others. Vikram is also involved in fund raising and investor relations activities.

Vikram is a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM. He has earlier worked for Andersen in their financial consulting and corporate finance practice, where as an Engagement Manager, he was responsible for telecom clients.
