Vinay Chatlani, MD & CEO, Soch

As the MD & CEO, Vinay defines the road map for all creative design strategy, operations and marketing. A graduate from the University of Miami with a major in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Marketing, Vinay kick-started his career in 2002 by setting up a promotions company along with his friends targeting some of the most exclusive restaurants, bars, lounges and night clubs in Miami. In a couple of years, the company was already one of the most successful promotions companies in the city. He always wanted to join the family business which has been in retail for three generations. In 2004, Vinay moved to Bangalore from Miami and joined his family business; with a vision to establish Soch as one of the leading ethnic wear brands in the country.

With the constant endeavor to expand the business, product profile and consumer reach, Vinay's contribution is recognized as instrumental in establishing Soch as one of the most loved women ethnic wear brands in the country. He has been actively involved in strategizing, conceptualizing, business development and branding activities for Soch.

At Soch, his responsibility includes store designing, marketing & advertising, visual merchandising, brand positioning and operations. Today the brand enjoys his leadership and is by far one of the leading ethnic wear retail chains in the country. Soch has a retail presence of 52 stores across India. Under his leadership, the company has grown to employ over 1400 people. Guided by his father’s vision, Vinay aims to be one of the top three women’s ethnic wear brands in India within the next two years.

Vinay has played a pivotal role in spreading the brand ethos of fun and joy.


Vinay Dabholkar, President, Catalign Innovation Consulting & Visiting faculty at IIM Bangalore and at IIT Bombay

Vinay is a consultant, teacher and author working in three areas: innovation strategy, design thinking, and mindfulness. He is a co-author of the book “8 steps to innovation: from jugaad to excellence” (2013) and author of the book “Mindfulness: connecting with the real you” (2019). He has been a visiting faculty at IIM Bangalore (since 2011) and at IIT Bombay (since 2016). Over the past decade, he has helped several organizations and individuals in their innovation and mindfulness journey. He also works with not-for-profit and government organizations in education and healthcare space. Prior to starting the consulting career, Vinay worked for a decade in Motorola in US and Sasken in Bangalore. He did his B. Tech. from IIT Bombay and PhD from University at Buffalo both in Computer Science.

Vinay Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO, Flightraja Travels Pvt. Ltd

A professional turned entrepreneur, Mr. Gupta has previously held prominent senior management positions with leading MNCs in the United States. His previous assignments include consultancies in the Risk Management business with Credit Suisse, First Boston in New York and consultancies with Citibank NA, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and BMW.

Mr. Gupta holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science from SV University and is presently pursuing CFA from the CFA Institute of America. He is a Member of the CFA Institute of America.

Vinay, has been an entrepreneur for the past 17 years, starting his career as a founding member of Intercept Technologies, the first company to be funded by Westbridge Capital Partners. Intercept was a pioneer in the internet advertising & technology space in India & Asia, working both on the technology and network creation in this space.

Post this Vinay co-founded Marketics, which became one of the largest Marketing Analytics company in the world, working globally with clients like P&G, Coca Cola, Universal Studios, IBM, ESPN, Cendant etc. Marketics was based in Bangalore, with a satellite office in Coimbatore. Vinay used to run all client engagements out of the US.

Marketics was acquired by WNS Global (NYSE: WNS) in 2007-08.

Vinay moved back to India in 2011, post doing a short term film making course in NYU. He currently runs Homeveda which is in the natural health & wellness company, and HumaraMovie, the largest Indian incubator of new talent, and the largest producer of short form entertainment content globally.

Vinay is a commerce graduate from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi and a Chartered Accountant. He is presently associated with HT Media as Chief Financial Strategist since October 2008, looking after M & A, Corporate Finance and Investor Relations. He has also worked with EXL, Max India and ANZ Grindlays in finance, tax, investment banking, treasury management and venture capital. He has more than 25 years of experience spanning full investment cycle – from acquisition, building to spinning/ selling off businesses.


Vinay Nathan, Co-founder & CEO, Altizon Systems Pvt. Ltd

Vinay brings to Altizon 14+ years of varied experience across sales, marketing, engineering and product management. Prior to Altizon he was VP Sales at Persistent Systems. He led Persistent Systems sales activities in the U.S. North East for 4+ years and added 30+ new logos that contributed to 20M+ USD in revenues. He also set up the APAC sales team that went from nil to 7% of annual revenues within 2 years. Vinay began his career in engineering and rose up the engineering ladder to be a center head for a US based captive. He holds 2 US patents and has 5 patents pending globally on work related USB, wireless and code security. Vinay holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from University of Southern California, LA and a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from University of Pune. He is actively involved with TiE and was cochair for TiECON Pune 2014 and 15. Vinay is also a fellow of the Startup Leadership Program.


Vinay Pasricha, Chairman, WLC College India Ltd

Mr, Vinay Pasricha, Chairman WLC College India, has been instrumental in the conceptualization, growth & development of the institution over the last two decades. Mr, Pasricha, a graduate in Engineering is also an alumni of the Harvard Business School. An entrepreneur and an innovator, he has several firsts to his credit, In 1993, he established a software company and laid the foundation of a pioneering executive training organization. He launched Orange Technology -one of the first providers of ERP Solutions and then established WLC College India Iin 1995.

A visionary, he has pioneered many innovative practices in the field of professional education which have received widespread acclaim within the industry, His Quality products. His extensive experience in executive education & training, prompted him to launch a unique Traineeship Program for Business students in 1999, a revolutionary attempt to make professional education practically relevant to the needs of employers. Over 17 years, WLCI has provided more than 16,000 skilled professionals to the world.

Mr. Pasricha’s interest lies in enhancing content and developing new & innovative training systems. As Chairman, WLCI, he is involved in specifically creating methods of identifying, developing and evaluating hob specific competencies. He is avidly interested in continually aiding organizations with focus on Knowledge Domain and Industry Relevant Skills.


Vinay Reddy, Co-founder & CTO, Sickle Innovations Private Limited

Sickle Innovations is a farming solution company with core focus on improving conventional farming practices through Human Centered Design approach.
Vinay graduated in Product Design from the Indian Institute of Science in 2012 and holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. He worked for Ashok Leyland briefly before quitting to pursue his passion for solving issues through Design. He joined Sickle as the company’s CTO in March 2014. Currently he is leading the development of Sickle’s Cotton Harvester for Indian Farms.
