Sunil K Goyal currently runs YourNest Angel Fund, an early stage venture fund he conceptualized and founded in 2011. Sunil is a former member of TiE, Indian Angel Network & Mumbai Angels. He has led investments in diverse sectors. His passion for early stage ventures has led him to invest in 9 start-ups on his own, before he set-up YourNest, which plans to invest in 10-12 start-ups over the next few months. Recently, Sunil got an exit from his first personal investment company ZipDial, which has been acquired by Twitter. He is qualified as a Financial Analyst, Business Economist, and Cost Accountant.
Sunil Gupta, President & COO, Netmagic Solutions
As the President & COO and Director on the Netmagic Board, Sunil Gupta is responsible for charting the course for all its services in the IDC and IT managed services space with specific focus on the profitability and operations of its datacenter business.
Sunil joined Netmagic in 2010, with the specific mandate of taking India’s leader in datacenter services into a higher growth trajectory. Netmagic’s turnover and customer base has increased three fold and its staff strength has increased from 210 to over 720, in the last 3 years. It has also become a leader in Cloud services and added large enterprise businesses to its client roster.
Sunil’s vast datacenter experience includes complete life cycle management of datacenter business including business planning, sales, business development, data centre construction and operationalization, customer service delivery and revenue assurance.
Prior to joining Netmagic, he spent 10 years at Reliance Communications where, as Senior Vice President and Business Head of Data Center BU, he helped set-up and manage its IDC business.
Sunil has over 21 years of IT and Communication industry experience and prior to Netmagic and Reliance Communications, has held senior executive positions at Global Telecom Services, Iris Software and Angel Solutions.
Sunil has an Engineering degree with a specialization in Electronics and Telecommunications as well as an MBA in Marketing Management.
Sunil Jain, COO, Green Infra Limited
Sunil is the Chief Operating Officer of Green Infra. He has over 27 years of experience in the engineering industry, particularly in the auto and infrastructure sectors. Prior to joining Green Infra, he had a long career in various positions with Escorts Ltd., a reputed diversified business group. His last position was as Associate Vice President (Marketing, Exports and Sourcing) of Escorts’ Engineering Division. He has extensive experience in business development, both in the domestic and international markets, and in handling commercial negotiations with customers and vendors alike. He has been actively involved in strategy planning, collaborations and identifying new business opportunities.
Sunil is passionate about Green Energy. At Green Infra, he has been instrumental in developing and commissioning the company’s 24 MW wind farm in Tamil Nadu under a group captive concept. Under his leadership, Green Infra acquired a 100 MW portfolio of operating wind assets from the British multinational BP, taking its total generating capacity to 124 MW and establishing Green Infra as India’s leading renewable energy independent power producer (IPP).
Sunil is also the President, Northern Region Council and Member National Council of Indian Wind Power Association.
Sunil is a Mechanical Engineer from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and holds an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.

Sunil K Kolangara, Director, Ascent Capital Advisors
Sunil is a Director at Ascent Capital Advisors. Ascent Capital is one of the oldest and most experienced Private Equity teams in India and manages a corpus of around $575 mn over three private equity funds.
Sunil has considerable experience in financial markets having worked as an investment professional and fund manager both in Indian public and private markets for almost two decades. He has been with Ascent Capital since Sept 2003, where he has been associated with several young and fast growing businesses at the Board level dealing with strategic, financial and general management issues.
Sunil's earlier stint as a Principal Consultant at Infosys Technologies has given him international experience in client interactions and IT business consulting in the financial services domain. Prior to that he had worked close to a decade with Unit Trust Of India across investment management functions spanning credit and equity markets in India.
Sunil holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai and a Post Graduate Degree in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Sunil has been with UTI Ventures since 2003. He brings with him over 16 years of experience in capital markets with extensive knowledge in corporate finance and fund management, along with a keen understanding of the technology sector. Formerly with Infosys Technologies, he was a Principal Consultant in the financial securities domain. He has also worked with UTI Mutual Fund in credit rating, primary market investments and as an offshore fund manager of the India IT Fund. Sunil is a Mechanical Engineer from IIT, Chennai and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad.

A Graduate from the University of Texas at Austin, Sunil began his career in Exports in 1987. After playing around with several ideas, he narrowed down his focus onto Leather Apparel. A manufacturing unit was established in 1992; That unit grew to work with some of the worlds best brands including Donna Karen, Ann Taylor, J Crew, Eddie Bauer, Next and many more.
He exited the Export Industry in 2002. After a one year sabbatical he joined together with a group of investors to promote Assotech Reality, and, the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. Sunil worked actively to grow both ventures. He continue to be a member of the Board of Governors, and the Finance Committee, at the University. Sunil has been an active angel investor from Indian Angel Network. His current portfolio of investee companies include over 15 companies spread over diverse sectors.
