Anand Lunia, Founder, Partner, India Quotient | @IndiaQuotient
Anand Lunia is a Founding Partner of India Quotient, an early stage fund focusing on pre-revenue startups.
Anand was previously an Executive Director at Seedfund. With over 15 years of experience as entrepreneur, venture investor and corporate executive, Anand leads investments in tech, internet, education and retail ventures. Anand was also the co-founder of Brainvisa (One of India’s leading e-learning companies) where he created the business plan, led the team in fund raising and eventual exit of 5x for the investors. Anand also served as Executive VP – Operations of Hurix Technologies (A Deloitte Fast 50 company focusing on publishing services), and was responsible for 800 people strong operations, sales and marketing. He has previously worked at Asian Paints, ICICI Treasury and Lionbridge. As an active Angel Investor, Anand has invested in successful startups like Inkfruit, a crowdsourcing apparel company and Faasos, a fast food chain.
Anand holds an MBA degree from IIM Lucknow and a Bachelor of Engineering degree. An active charter member of TiE, Anand loves to motivate entrepreneurs and help them with all startup challenges.

Anand Narayan, Managing Director, Creador Advisors India Pvt Ltd
Anand has been at Creador since its founding in 2011. Prior to that he was a partner at Veda, a boutique investment bank where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions, sponsor coverage of private equity firms and raising structured debt for a number of mid- market corporates. Anand also spent 12 years doing investment banking at IL&FS. In the earlier part of his career,he held various operational roles at Zuari Agrochemicals and at Eicher Motors. He holds an MBA from IIM, Bangalore, and graduated with honours in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jaipur.

Anand Narayanan K.B, Chief Operating Officer, Puravankara Limited
Anand Narayanan presently is the Chief Operating Officer of Puravankara Limited. He is responsible for the company’s strategic initiatives across Sales, Marketing, CRM and Project Execution. Anand has been instrumental in developing and implementing disruptive strategic marketing and sales plans to achieve the larger corporate objectives for the organization’s products and services.
Anand has been associated with the real-estate and banking industry for the last 13 years, both in India and overseas. He has worked in diverse areas across the residential real-estate space as well as in consumer & institutional banking. As such, his domain understanding of consumer marketing strategies and perspective of the domestic & international real estate & financial markets are well-honed.
Prior to joining Puravankara, Anand was part of the leadership team at Knight Frank India. He was responsible for its residential transaction, transaction-linked advisory business and corporate communication initiatives.
He was with ICICI bank for close to a decade, in various Sales and Marketing roles, across a gamut of domains including International Consumer Banking (NRIs), Mid-Corporate Banking (SME) and Institutional resource raising & syndications, both in India and overseas.

Anand Prakash, MD, FE Clean Energy Group
Anand is the Managing Director for FE Clean Energy Group and is responsible for managing its Asian investments. FE Clean Energy has approximately US$300 million under management from investors that include Mitsubishi Corporation, Chubu Electric Company, Japan Bank for International Cooperation, Asian Development Bank, European pensions funds, among other institutional investors. The Fund has already invested in India, China, Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines in a wide array of clean energy investments including hydro power generation, biomass based power generation, waste-to-energy, energy efficiency and bio-fuels.
Anand has a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College in New Delhi, India, a Master’s in Economics from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, England, and a Master’s in Public Administration from Cornell University.

Anand Prasanna, Managing Partner, Iron Pillar Fund
Anand Prasanna is a Managing Partner at Iron Pillar, a fund manager focused on mid-stage technology investments in India. He spends his time working with new generation of Indian technology entrepreneurs, building global technology businesses out of India or domestic consumer tech companies.Previously, he was with Morgan Creek, a global investment management firm, where he helped manage their Asia portfolio out of Shanghai. Anand have extensive work experience in India and rest of Asia, including firms like Sequoia Capital, McKinsey & Co and Squadron Capital.

Anand Prasanna, Director, Private Assets, Morgan Creek Capital Management LLC
Anand Prasanna joined Morgan Creek in December 2012 and is currently a Director based in the firm's Shanghai office. As part of Morgan Creek's Asia team, Mr. Prasanna will be covering the firm's activities in private investments in Asia with a particular focus on India. Prior to joining Morgan Creek, he was a senior investment professional at Squadron Capital, a Hong Kong-based private equity group focused on the Asia Pacific region. He has had extensive work experience, including high profile firms McKinsey and Sequoia Capital in India, where he was able to build a strong local network amongst companies, entrepreneurs and investors.
Mr. Prasanna earned a Master of Business Administration from the Fore School of Management in New Delhi, and earned his BBA in Business Administration from the University of Kerala.

Anand Ramachandran Prasanna, Investment Director, Squadron Capital
Anand Ramachandran Prasanna is an Investment Director.
Prior to joining Squadron Capital in March 2008, Anand was with Sequoia Capital’s Indian investment team, based in Bangalore. Prior to his work with Sequoia, he was employed by the global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, based in New Delhi with assignments across the Asia Pacific region.
Anand holds an MBA from the FORE School of Management, New Delhi and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kerala.
In addition to Hindi, Anand speaks Malayalam and Tamil.

Anand is the Managing Partner at ASJ Law Associates, a full-service law firm based in Delhi/Gurgaon. He has varied experience in his field having been associated with reputed law firms and having served as in-house counsel, before quitting to set up his own practice. His main practice areas include M&A, angel fundings & private equity, foreign investments, commercial and mercantile transactions in which domains he advises clients ranging from global powerhouses to start-ups across India, US, Europe and the Middle East. With a deep understanding of the interface between law and business, his writings have appeared in leading publications.

Anand Shrivastav, CMD, Beam Money
Anand brings almost three decades of rich and diverse experience to the fore, having successfully marketed and distributed both novel as well as reputed brands across consumer, nutrition & health care products, hybrid seeds, telecom, retail, and banking services. In addition, he has spearheaded several projects, devised and implemented marketing strategies and managed large distribution channels viz. Coke/Double Seven in soft drinks, Telecom Australia in telecom to development of sales & distribution software for consumer companies viz. Unilever and Nestle, and electronic transaction management systems for leading banks like BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered etc. One of the highlights in his career was his setting up India's first pay phone privatization franchisee network, of successfully deploying over 1,100 payphones across Delhi and Mumbai within 6 months. Anand’s invaluable contribution towards the prepaid industry won him the 2012 Global Prepaid Award.
Prior to setting up Beam Money, Anand has held board level positions in several other prestigious organizations including The Homes Stores, Intercorp Biotech, and IEPC Limited to name a few. He has served as marketing consultant to several PSUs viz. Kerala State Drugs & Pharmaceuticals and Kerala Sops & Detergents. He is also a coholder of patents on the mobile commerce, biotechnology and life sciences.
Anand has authored “Redialling Financial Inclusion” published by Financial Express; and had co-authored alongwith Prof Suresh Sunderesan of Columbia University the book “Microfinance - Emerging Trends & Challenges” published by Edward Elgar. He is a regular speaker at esteemed institutions viz. Columbia University and IIM to name a few.
