Anand Daniel joined Accel in 2010 and focuses on consumer, healthcare technology and marketplace investments.  

Anand led Accel’s investments in Forus, Pristine, TaxiForSure (Acquired by Ola), Swiggy and Vendantu.  

Prior to Accel, Anand worked for many years at Intel and Intel Capital, and also was an investor at Flybridge Capital.  

Anand grew up in Chennai and graduated from the University of Madras. He has a MBA from MIT and an engineering Masters from Purdue.

Anand Iyer has over two decades of work experience spanning computer hardware, healthcare diagnostic imaging, telecom services, power electronics, internet, renewable energy and IT software industries. He has led start-up as well growth stage Indian and multinational businesses in India in key leadership roles. He then became an independent business consultant advising start-ups and small businesses in the areas of business strategy, value proposition and go-to- market. He worked with the leaders of these ambitious companies to envision and enable making large footprint, game changing, disruptive impact in the markets they served. Prior to becoming the CEO, Anand advised TeleDNA, the parent company of Comverg Technologies Pte Ltd as an independent consultant for several months and helped develop new products and build an enterprise business program for the company. Anand has a B.Tech. from IIT-BHU, Varanasi, and PGDM from the Indian Institute ofManagement Bangalore.

Anand Jhaveri, Founder & CEO, Rave Technologies (Mumbai Angels)

Anand is the founder, Chairman and CEO of Rave Technologies. Since Rave's inception in 1987, Anand has guided Rave from a small company to a medium sized organization providing software solutions with offices across Europe, USA and India. Anand started his career in designing controller chips with Advanced Micro Devices in Silicon Valley as a Senior Systems Engineer.

After two years at AMD, he joined a start-up company, Clarity Systems, Inc., as an Applications Engineer developing CAD tools for VLSI semiconductor devices. Upon Anand's return from the US, he founded Rave Technologies. Anand holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, graduating with distinction.

Anand K, CEO, SRL Diagnostics

Anand has over 25 years of robust work experience in the healthcare industry specialising in Diagnostics and Laboratory services in India, South Asia, Africa and Middle East. He comes with deep subject knowledge of diagnostics and healthcare industry, combined with strong business acumen, allowing him to view business with a wider lens then narrow it down to connect the dots, identify business drivers, understand complex issues, take actions and drive results. Anand is currently the CEO of India’s leading diagnostic chain that is spread across 600+ Cities, 30 States and Union Territories. He joined SRL from Apollo Hospitals Group where he was the CEO of their Diagnostic Business Unit of AHLL, based at Hyderabad. Anand is a talented and gifter leader with extensive experience in leading Diagnostics Companies, including Neuberg Diagnostics, Metropolis, and others.

He has handled various portfolios covering Operations, Sales, Network / Channel development and management, Marketing, Strategic Business Development, Greenfield projects including international, M&A – domestic and international, Hospital lab management contracts, PPP, P&L responsibilities, integration & change management and partner development.

 Anand earned his Graduate degree in Medical Lab Technology from JIPMER Medical College, Pondicherry with a major in Marketing from IIAM, Mumbai. He has also completed an Executive Program in Strategic management from IIM, Ahmedabad.

 Anand is actively involved in various industry forums in India and abroad as a speaker or panelist.

 

Anand Kharad, Vice President, TH Healthcare & Life Sciences

Anant has an experience of over 11 years in the healthcare and life sciences industry. In his previous role, Anant was leading investments for the Times Group focusing on healthcare, consumer and D2C brands. He has also worked at the healthcare practices of many boutique investment banks advising companies in PE and M&A transactions.

An IIM-A alumnus and a Chartered Accountant, Anand Kumar Bajaj is the Founder, MD & CEO of PayNearby. With over 21 years of experience in Digital Payments and Mobility, Anand holds six patents in banking technology and has worked earlier with YES Bank, ICICI Bank, and Ernst & Young. Previously, he was the President and Chief Innovation Officer at YES Bank, where he led several high-impact programs in digital payments. At PayNearby, Anand steers the company’s strategic direction and growth, and he, along with his team, is committed to enabling the reach of digital payments and financial services at the first mile by empowering retailers.

Anand Ladsariya, Managing Director, Everest Flavours Ltd

Mr. Anand Ladsariya, a first generation entrepreneur, is the CEO and promoter director of Everest Flavours Ltd.,  manufacturer and exporter of Menthol, Peppermint Oil, flavours and fragrances. He is a topper and gold medalist from Bombay University and Post Graduate MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. He is also involved in various social activities. He is ex-Chairman of CHEMEXCIL, a premium export promotion organisation established by Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India, for promotion of exports. He looks forward to risk adjusted investments keeping in mind capital preservation, sound returns and growth possibilities. He is sector agnostic and invests in good teams and ideas with huge growth potential.

He is an active Angel Investor with Mumbai Angels, Indian Angel Network, Venture Nursery, Morpheus and many such platforms.. He has been actively investing since 2008 and has invested in over 95 start-ups till date and actively mentors and guides the promoters to reach the next level. Many of his start-ups have been extremely successful. He was also part of the Planning Commission’s “Committee on Angel Investment and Early Stage Venture Capital”, guided by the Vice Chairman of Planning Commission.
