Srikanth Velamakanni, Co-Founder, Group Chief Executive and Executive Vice Chairman, Fractal
Srikanth Velamakanni is the Co-founder, Group Chief Executive and Executive Vice Chairman of Fractal. Fractal is a leading player in the artificial intelligence and transformative enterprise decision making space. Fractal’s mission is to power every human decision in the enterprise and to use the power of AI to help the world’s most admired Fortune 100 companies. Since Srikanth co-founded Fractal in 2000, the company has raised more than USD 300 million from institutional private equity investors. Fractal serves more than 100 Fortune 500 companies with its AI, data and analytics driven business strategies. Under his leadership, Fractal has developed several product lines within the company including Cuddle.ai, Eugenie.ai, Theremin.ai and Qure.ai. Srikanth is the Chair of the board of Qure.ai, that recently raised USD 16MM in funding, less than three years after incubation.
Srikanth is Co-founder and Trustee of Plaksha University, with a strong academic focus on core engineering, AIML and mathematics. Additionally, Plaksha promotes interdisciplinary learning by bringing together science and the liberal arts. A member of the NASSCOM Executive Council Srikanth serves as a subject matter expert on data and AI.
Srikanth’s passion for AI and analytics has made him a thought leader in the space and an admired public speaker. He considers himself a lifelong student of mathematics, behavioural economics, neuroscience and consumer behavior.
Srikrishna Dwaram, Partner, TrueNorth
Sri joined True North in 2006 and is based in Mumbai. He is responsible for investments in primarily Consumer & Technology sectors. He also supports the fundraising and investor relations teams.
Prior to joining True North, Sri was part of the founding team at Yes Bank and also worked in the planning & strategy team at ICICI Bank.
Sri graduated from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad after completing his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology.

Srikrishna Ramamoorthy is a Partner with Unitus Seed Fund. He brings both entrepreneurial and investing perspectives with extensive experience in impact investing and BoP start-ups. Srikumar Misra is an entrepreneur and the founder of Milk Mantra; he was with the Tata Administrative Service in London and quit his job in 2009 and returned to India to set up Milk Mantra in Odisha to address the large problem of consumer trust deficit with the integrity of milk and milk products.
Milk Mantra, India’s 1st VC funded Agri Food & Beverage startup is a conscious capitalist entrepreneurial white revolution and it’s ‘Milky Moo’ brand is one the fastest growing dairy brands in the country and has nearly 50,000 network farmers as part of its Ethical Milk Sourcing program.
Srikumar has been written about as 'India's New Age Milkman’; Stanford Business School did a case study on his fund raise; he was nominated on the Management Board of Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, he is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute, USA as a thought leader and was selected as Fortune India’s 40 under 40 in 2016.

Srinath Srinivasan, Chief Executive Officer, Oman India Joint Investment Fund
Srinath Srinivasan is the Chief Executive Officer of Oman India Joint Investment Fund (OIJIF). OIJIF is a Joint Venture Fund between State Bank of India and State General Reserve Fund (SGRF) of Oman. SGRF is the sovereign wealth fund of Oman. At OIJIF, he has evaluated over 300 potential investment opportunities and has invested in 5 companies across sectors. These include ING Vysya Bank, Solar Industries, NCDEX, Beaver Industries (HBL Batteries) and IndusTeqsite. He currently serves on the Board of NCDEX, Beaver Industries and IndusTeqsite.
Srinath has 23 years of experience including 14 years in Private Equity. As a private equity professional, he has invested in 28 Companies till date and has served on many Boards across Asia. During his career, he has lived and worked across Asia.
Private Equity industry in India entered a growth phase starting 2004. During this phase, Srinath was instrumental in setting up and heading the Private Equity business of Reliance Capital. In this role, he managed a USD 100 million Joint Venture fund with Temasek of Singapore (to invest in companies making products for the power sector). He also invested in non-power sector companies through a Proprietary Fund. Some of the well-known companies in which he invested include Sukam Power Systems, Ravin Cables, EMI Transmission, DTDC Courier and Cargo etc.
Prior to returning to India in 2004, Srinath worked with AIG Asian Infrastructure Fund in Singapore, where he managed investments of the Fund in infrastructure space across Asia.
Srinath has a rich operation experience in the telecom industry, where-in he has done sale of products, business development for wireless networks, implemented customer care and billing systems for Telco's and arranged project finance for Telco's.
He is an Electronics and Communication Engineer from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Suratkhal, Karnataka. He was a State Scholar at NIT Suratkal. Srinath has done his MBA from Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.
Srinath has worked across Asia in diverse cultures and lived in Singapore for 12 years. He is fluent in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and English languages.
Srini Nagarajan, Managing Director and Head of Asia, British International Investment
Srini joined British International Investment in 2013 to lead the Asia team under the organisation’s new investment strategy. He has the distinction of having been our first overseas employee and recently moved to Singapore to lead BIIs expansion into the Indo-Pacific region. He has been instrumental in building a high-quality portfolio in the region, which focuses across products and sectors.
Under his leadership, BII has a strong presence on the ground and the team has made successful investments in the financial services, healthcare, logistics and renewable energy sectors – including the creation of BII subsidiary Ayana Renewable Power in India, a pioneer renewable energy developer. His role includes support in origination, execution, and management of the portfolio for delivering development goals and value. In addition, he is building BIIs presence in the Southeast Asian markets with a focus on Climate change.
Srini started his career with Standard Chartered Bank both in India and Southern Africa, before joining British International Investment in 1996. He has managed leasing companies in Africa; in India he managed legacy assets for value before moving into mainstream private equity investing for both British International Investment and Actis.
He has a Master’s degree in Economics and a post-graduate qualification in Business Administration from Warwick School of Business.
Srini Nagarajan, Head of South Asia, CDC Group
Srini re - joined CDC in June 2013 and is currently Head of South Asia and based out of Bangalore. In his current role he is CDC's representative on the ground and responsible for its investments in the region.
Previously Srini was Director with a global PE fund Actis and focussed on Private Equity deals in the Financial Services sector in South Asia. Prior to this He was focusing on deal origination for Actis in India and also managed a portfolio of CDC investments in South Asia for value. He spent close to eight years in Sub Saharan Africa with both CDC and Standard Chartered Bank.
Srini has a Masters degree in Economics and a post Graduate in Business Administration from Warwick School of Business.
Srini Raghavan, CEO, Educational Initiatives
Srini is a technology strategist with executive leadership experience in building teams, business development, operations, growth management, change management and process improvement. He currently serves as CEO of Educational initiatives (EI) where his mandate is to scale the company with the objective to permeate EI's scientifically developed assessment and learning solutions across all strata of society.
Srini has a rich experience of partnering with leaders to scale up businesses multiple times by focusing on core technology aspects. In the immediate past decade, he served as Vice President & Managing Director in Bally Technologies (NYSE:BYI) where he helped the company grow revenue by over 300% and stock price by over 700%. In earlier stints, he was with Manhattan Associates, Cadence Design Systems and Pepsi. Srini started his career in the Indian Army where he served for six years and had the experience of operational as well as ceremonial duties.
Srini is a member of NCERT’s National Expert Group for Assessment in School Education (NEGASE). He has always been passionate about education and was instrumental in starting a school in a strife torn part of the country during his tenure in the Army. He has also been associated with EI since the company's inception. Srini holds a B.A. (Honors) degree in Economics from Delhi University and a Diploma in Management from IGNOU.
Srini Rajam, Chairman & CEO, Ittiam Systems Pvt. Ltd
Srini Rajam joined Texas Instruments India in 1985, as a Software Engineer. He has held many technical and leadership roles in TI, spanning the areas of Design Automation, ASIC and DSP product development. During 1993-94, Srini Rajam worked in the Asia Pacific Region as Technical Marketing Director for TI's Semiconductor Products in Asia. In that role, he set up the Customer Application Centers for TI products in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul. During this time, he also functioned as the Chairman of TI's Technical Council in Asia.
Srini was the Managing director of Texas Instruments India during 1995-2000.
He was a member of the TI Corporate Steering Team for TI India and the TI Asia Leadership Team. He was also the Chairman of TI Asia advisory team for the regional technical council. Srini served as a member of the Governing Council of the Department of Electronics' Software Technology Parks during the period 1996-98. He is currently a member of the Karnataka State IT Task Force formed by the Chief Minister. He is the Chairman of Indo American Chamber of Commerce, Karnataka Branch for the year 2000-01.
Srini has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the School of Automation, Indian Institute of Science, 1984 and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai University, 1982.
