Shri Subhash Chandra Garg, Secretary-Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs
Shri Subhash Chandra Garg assumed responsibilities of the Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India on 12th July, 2017. He belongs to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 1983 batch, Rajasthan cadre. Sh. Garg has degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India and is a professionally qualified Cost and Works Accountant and a Company Secretary.
Sh. Subhash Chandra Garg was Executive Director in the World Bank Group for Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Sri Lanka from November, 2014 to July, 2017. Mr. Garg served on the Board of Directors for the International Bank for Reconstruction & Development (IBRD), the International Development Association (IDA), collectively referred as the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).
Sh. Garg has over 34 years of experience in administration, management and public policy, in finance and several development sectors - agriculture, education, energy and rural development. He has managed government finances both at the Centre and in the State of Rajasthan. In Government of India, he worked as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs (DEA) and Joint Secretary in the Department of Expenditure (DoE), in the Ministry of Finance and in the State of Rajasthan in various capacities as Secretary (Expenditure), Secretary (Budget) and Principal Secretary of Finance. He also occupied other senior positions in the Central Government as Joint Secretary(Agriculture) and Additional Secretary(Cabinet).

Shri. K. J. George, Hon'ble Minister, Large and Medium Scale Industry, Government of Karnataka
Shri. KELACHANDRA JOSEPH GEORGE, Hon’ble Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industry, Sugar, Information Technology & Bio Technology, Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, Bangalore, is an Industrialist and Planter by profession and a Social Worker. Started his political career by joining Indian National Congress during 1968, since then he is an active member of the Party.
He had started his political career as President, Gonikoppal Town Youth Congress during 1969. During 1972-73, he was a General Secretary to Coorg District Youth Congress Committee later during 1973-75 and then he became President of Coorg District Congress Committee. He was a Treasurer of the Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress Committee during 1975-78 and later became President of Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress Committee during 1979-82.
He was also a National General Secretary of the Indian Youth Congress Committee during 1982-85. In 1985, contested from Bharathinagar Assembly Constituency and entered for the first time (1985-89) the prestigious State Legislature as its Member. He also held a high profiled position in the Party and Secretary of the Congress Legislature Party.
During 1989, he was the Minister in the Council of Ministers headed by Late.Shri. Veerendra Patil (who termed as an Iron Man of the State) and held the Portfolio of Transport, Food & Civil Supplies (1989-90). Now, these portfolios are shared by two individual Ministers. He was the Minister in the Cabinet headed by Late Shri. S. Bangarappa and held the portfolio of Housing and Urban Development (1990-94). Now these portfolios are shared by three Ministers. He had identified himself in the government as a Champion of Minorities under the able leadership of Late Shri. Bangarappa. He was a model in the Cabinet for his simplicity and generosity mixed with sincerity and honesty.
During 2008 general election to the assembly, for the third time and during 2013 General Election for fourth time he was elected from Sarvagnanagar Assembly Constituency from Bangalore Urban.
During 2013 He was the Minister for Home Affairs (19.05.2013 to 30.10.2015). During 2015 he was the Minister for Bangalore Development & Town Planning (30.10.2015 to 18.07.2016). He once again become the Minister for Bangalore Development and Town planning (26.09.2016 to 17.05.2018). His winning continued during 2018 general election to the assembly, he was elected again from Sarvagnanagar Assembly Constituency for the fifth time and he was become the Minister for Large & Medium Scale Industry, Sugar, Information Technology & Bio Technology, Science and Technology. (08.06.2018 to 27.12.2018)
He was being an MLA for five terms (during 1985-89, 1989-94, 2008-13, 2013-2018 & 2018 to till date), the Congress Party has recognized his services and awarded him suitably several highly responsible portfolios.
He is an instrumental in initiating a move to attract the Naxal Force by mooting a package for their demands and welfare inviting them to surrender themselves voluntarily. Now he is a Minister for Large & Medium Scale Industry. (28.12.2018 till date)

Shripad is a founder Director at MarketGate Consulting and brings an experience spanning over thirty years to help companies achieve superior business results and enhance brand value. He has worked across a multitude of sectors from financial services to automobiles and entertainment to petrochemicals. Shripad's breadth of experience prior to consulting covers industries such as healthcare, consumer goods and food & beverages. He has led sales and marketing teams for over fifteen years and has steered diverse businesses in the course of his career.
Shripad was Vice President-Marketing and Business Head for New Beverages at Coca-Cola India for over five years beginning 2000. His major achievements include achieving market leadership for brand Thums-up, Sprite and Maaza and preference leadership for brand Coca-Cola through the memorable “Thanda Matlab Coca Cola” campaign. He also led the advertising of core brands for India, Indonesia, Rural China, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Prior to this he was Vice President-Marketing for the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Business and also headed the Vision Care profit center.
Shripad is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has contributed articles to leading business dailies and magazines.

He was also a research scientist and a project leader at Nanomix (Emeryville, CA, USA), contributing to fundamental nanoelectronic breakthroughs that resulted in several intellectual property and trade secrets. As an application development scientist, he was instrumental in developing infrastructure, processes and technologies for solution phase deposition of functional nanomaterials.

Shripati Acharya, Co-founder, Managing Partner, Prime Venture Partners

He is known for being astute with a razor sharp intellect and a Zen?like devotion to data driven decision?making.
Shripati has also worked alongside Mr. Nandan Nilekani on the UIDAI project. Having spent substantial parts of working career in the United States and India addressing worldwide markets, Shripati brings a global management perspective. His passion for Indian business was seeded when he interned for Boston Consulting Group in India and has grown through investments in and mentoring of Indian online startups over the last decade.

Shriram Krishnamachari, Head of Sales & Business Development - India, Intuit
Shriram Krishnamachari is responsible for leading the development and execution of the region's strategic plans, Go to Market implementationand ensure highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Shriram brings anin-depth understanding of India SMB market, forging strategic partnerships and building scalable business from scratch. He has over 20 years of sales leadership experience in the SAARC market. Before joining Intuit, he served as Head Channels & Alliances at Adobe India. In this role, he was responsible for partnerships, operations and new initiatives to drive exponential growth in the SAARC market.
Prior to joining Adobe, Shriram was India Country Manager at Macromedia Inc. He has worked with Wipro Infotech as National Business Manager, Product Manager and other key roles.

He then returned to India as CEO of NU Hospitals, a nephro-uro speciality hospital. He was also an advisor to InstaHealth Solutions, a Healthcare Information Systems Company. He has a double major in Economics & Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon.
