Satish Kannan is a pioneer in the online healthcare industry. With a singular focus to bring a paradigm shift in the healthcare industry, he has, in a relatively short period of time, ushered his organization to a leadership position. He is well on his way to achieving his goal of making high-quality healthcare accessible to everyone across the nation. Satish Kannan or SK as he is popularly known is an alumnus of IIT Madras - B.Tech & M.Tech in Electrical engineering. After completing his education, SK started his career with Philips Healthcare, being involved with Research and Development on specialized equipment, used by cardiologists for conducting surgeries.
Post that SK began his leadership journey by co-founding DocsApp (a 24x7 online doctor consultation platform) to make high-quality healthcare accessible to over a billion people in India. SK is now at the helm of affairs of the vastly expanded entity of MediBuddy-DocsApp as Chief Executive Officer.
SK’s achievements have been acknowledged by Forbes - he has been featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 list, 2017 (Asia) and Forbes 30 under 30 list, 2018 (India), for his contribution to the Indian health-care sector. Recently, he won the title of “Young Achiever of the Year” at National Awards for Marketing Excellence 2020.
When not focused in transforming the healthcare sector, the former IITian loves to read books, travel, and practice yoga.
Satish Kataria, MD, Catapooolt
Satish brings with him more than 14 years of experience across various domains including public relations, brand management, investor relations and fund management.
Some of his unique achievements include:
• Pioneered crowdfunding in India through his earlier venture - Springboard Ventures
• Operationally headed Vistaar Religare Film Fund - India’s first SEBI registered venture capital fund investing in films and media properties
• Closely associated with Indian start-up ecosystem and was consulting editor with DARE - which is India’s first media platform on start-ups and entrepreneurs and is amongst the portfolio of Cyber Media India Limited - country’s one of the largest B2B and niche publications publisher
Prior to co-founding Catapooolt - Satish had founded Springboard Ventures - wherein he partnered with Grow VC International - an European based crowdfunding platform - focusing on enabling crowdfunding for start-ups. Besides crowdfunding, Springboard Ventures was also involved with enabling start-ups through events, mentorship and fund support. Before Springboard Ventures - Satish was operationally heading Vistaar Religare Film Fund - which invested a corpus of around USD 45 Million in across 13 various national and international film projects. Satish also headed investor relations and fund-raising at Indiareit Fund Management – which is amongst one of the largest real estate funds in India.

Satish is a founding partner of DSK Legal with more than 30 years of rich experience in advising various multinational and domestic companies and funds across sectors and negotiating many complex commercial transactions relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, strategic alliances and joint ventures.
He brings a very deep understanding of the Indian market and the legal and regulatory regime that governs it, having previously worked for more than a decade as a partner with a leading domestic law firm as well as an international accounting firm in its tax and business advisory practice. His counsel is regularly sought by Fortune 500 companies and large domestic conglomerates on their Indian operations.

Satish Medapati, Founder and CEO of bounty app, comes from an analytics and data sciences background and has had previous experience in coated steels sales, credit risk analytics, banking, retail analytics and account management across various geos. At bounty, he is building a hassle-free rewards experience for consumers and a digital platform for businesses to acquire, engage, and manage their consumer base.
He is passionate about the power of data sciences where knowing and understanding a simple everyday activity like eating or a weekly activity of visiting a mall or taking a cab can be so much more powerful in driving consumer experience that also results in businesses targeting with a context instead of spamming the consumer with irrelevant offers/discounts.

Satrajit Bhattacharya, Joint General Manager - Treasury, HDFC
Satrajit comes with an experience of 20 years with his core competence being equity investments. Satrajit is working as a Joint General Manager - Treasury at HDFC Ltd.
Satrajit is primarily responsible for managing the equity portfolio for HDFC. This is about a USD 750 million portfolio which is split between private as well as public markets. He is responsible for the selection, structuring and monitoring of equity and equity-linked investments by HDFC. He has had the exposure to managing the lifecycle of an equity investment from start-up phase to exit and has led HDFC’s successful exits from a number of investments.
Satrajit Bhattacharya, Treasury, HDFC Ltd.
Mr. Satrajit Bhattacharya is a graduate in Arts from the North Eastern Hill University, Shillong and holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Control from the University of Delhi.
He is responsible for the equity investments including international investments made by HDFC Limited. He handles mergers & acquisitions, fund raising and strategic initiatives for the HDFC Group.
Satrajit has more than twenty five years of experience in investment management and related fields. He has comprehensive knowledge of regulations, business law, finance and accounting with expertise in business evaluation, financial statement analysis and deal structuring. He has in-depth knowledge of the industry practices pertaining to private equity and investment management. He has negotiated and executed deals in industries such as airlines, ITES, power, infrastructure, financial services, e-commerce etc.
He holds directorships in various HDFC portfolio companies. He is also the CEO of HDFC Investments Limited.
Satya Bansal, CEO, Barclays Wealth and Investment Management - India
Satya is the Chief Executive Officer of the W&IM division of Barclays in India. He joined Barclays W&IM in 2007
Satya started his career in project and corporate finance in India and had worked in numerous functions including finance, sales, marketing, product development and technology and investment analysis in the past 24 years. Prior to joining Barclays, he was the Head of Private Banking in the South East Asia region for ICICI Bank in Singapore.
Satya holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Rajasthan in India and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India. He is an alumnus of HBS and has attended AMP.
Satya is a charter member of TiE and various other angel networks and an active angel investor having helped more than 20 start-ups across industries both in India and overseas including social impact investing. He is involved with various community initiatives and NGOs including the Rotary Club of Mumbai.
