Satya is a renowned speaker in Indian academic circles, has personally trained thousands of students, teachers and corporate executives, and is the moving force behind several pioneering initiatives in the Asian education markets.


Satya Prabhakar, Founder & CEO, Sulekha.com

Satya Prabhakar is an Indian/American entrepreneur, engineer, writer and the Founder & CEO of Sulekha.com, one of the most popular Indian digital destinations and the leading platform of digital marketplaces with millions of purchase-ready consumers and tens of thousands of paying businesses, focused on helping consumers make purchase decisions in domains such as Property/Rentals, Home Needs, Office Needs, Education/Training, Mobiles/Gadgets, Lifestyle/Shopping. He grew Sulekha.com from two employees to over 1300 employees in 17 offices across India and in US.

Originally from Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Prabhakar earned his Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communications from National institute of Technology (NIT REC), Trichy, India; Masters in Computer Science and an MBA in International Finance from University of Florida.

He has nearly 20 years of professional experience in various technical, business development, strategy and general management roles at TCS India, Philips N.V., Honeywell and AT&T in the areas of databases, real-time operating systems, Interactive TV, Internet access, hosting and interactive services.

He has written over 25 technical papers and articles in the areas of artificial intelligence, database design, optimization and integration. He won prestigious awards tor technical business leadership both at 880 and Honeywell. His interests include philosophy, investing, chess, tennis and writing. He has written over 20 articles on a variety of subjects and was featured in "Black, White and Various Shades of Brown" published by Penguin in 2002.


Satya Prakash Singh, Chief General Manager, SIDBI

Shri Satya Prakash Singh is currently holding the position of Chief General Manager, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), New Delhi and heading the Venture Finance and Investment Vertical of SIDBI. He is managing the largest sovereign venture fund of funds for start up launched by Govt of India and various state govts. Prior to his current assignment he was the Chief Executive Officer of SIDBI Venture Capital Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of SIDBI. He has a development banking carrier spanning over around three decades and handled several key assignments such as treasury and resources management, credit, micro finance, etc. He has closely worked with multilateral and bilateral agencies for promoting and developing MSMEs in the country.  
 
A Post Graduate in Economics and MBA Finance, Shri Singh has experience of more than 30 years in Banking and Academics. He is a certified associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. He has participated in several international programmes on MSME financing and development and represented SIDBI as part of high level delegation for multilateral and bilateral negotiations. He has been on the Boards of several institutions, including national level financial institution.  


Satyajeet Singh, VP Products, Zomato

Satyajeet is VP of Products at Zomato, where he oversees product development across platforms.

A startup enthusiast, he has spent over 9 years in the consumer internet industry, launching and managing a multitude of successful tech products.

Prior to Zomato, Satyajeet has held key roles at Cleartrip.com and Naukri.com. He is also an active contributor and evangelist in the mobile development and product management community in India.


Satyam Kumar, CEO & Co-founder, LoanTap

Satyam spearheads Business, Liabilities and Relationship initiatives at LoanTap. Satyam is a banking industry veteran with enriched experience of more than 18 years. He has lead LoanTap to profitability within five quarters of operations while simultaneously generating positive sentiment amongst financial investors.

Before co-founding LoanTap, he was National Head - Mortgages, at IndusInd Bank. His constant drive & team management skills resulted in a loan book of more than Rs. 5,000 crores in LAP in his last assignment.

During his tenure at ICICI Bank, he held multiple significant positions in Product, Business and Credit, including Regional Head - Mortgage. Satyam was pivotal to launching Sanction Guarantee Scheme in Indian Lending ecosystem, earliest experiment to this effect was run for Corporate Channel Customers at ICICI Bank, Pune and since then extended across India.

Satyam also guides an NGO, Purn-Kuti – for socio-economic development of women and children, and likes to engage in adventure sports like paragliding, rafting, and skiing.


Satyan Gajwani, CEO, Times Internet Ltd

Satyan Gajwani is the CEO of Times Internet Limited. Times Internet Ltd. is the largest Indian digital company, according to Comscore. Times Internet Ltd. owns and operates all major digital initiatives for the Times Group, including ventures in news, business news, lifestyle, music, video, local, e-commerce, deals, mobile, MVAS, and digital investments.

Satyan's goal is to operate Times Internet Ltd. as a collective of nimble startups with a dedicated focus on making each business a success in its respective vertical.

Satyan earned his Bachelors in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University, and earned his Masters in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford as well. He previously worked at Barclays Bank in New York, and moved to India four years ago as Director of New Media for The Times Group.


Satyen Jain, CEO, Pride Hotels

Mr. Satyen Jain, a Chartered Accountant and MBA, is a Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Mr.Satyen Jain oversees the implementation of the ongoing projects and has a keen eye upon applying International standards in F&B, Hi-tech Connectivity, room facilities, soft furnishings and hardware at the Pride Hotel sites.


Satyen V Kothari, Chairman/Founder, Citrus Payment Solutions Pvt Ltd

Satyen is the Chairman/Founder of Citrus Payment Solutions. He leads overall strategy, product, user experience, marketing, and strategic alliances for Citrus.

He spent 15 years in the Silicon Valley establishing companies in the areas of marketing automation, social e-commerce, and strategy/design consulting. He loves questioning the status quo and pushing the boundaries of what the accepted norms are. His career has included stints with several start-ups and larger companies such as Intuit, First Data, Cisco, AOL, Yahoo, frog Design & Apple. This has involved being an entrepreneur, a mentor, an investor, a consultant, and an educator in start-ups, Fortune 500 companies, incubators, and educational institutes across the United States, Europe, and Asia.

He secured a Masters from Stanford University in tech entrepreneurship/HCI/Computer Science in 1996, and has a BE in Computer Science/Engineering from Bombay University (1995). He is an occasional kite-surfer, alternative travel fan, and a dedicated consumer of gourmet mixology.


Saugat Roy, Principal Consultant, ERM: Environmental Resources Management

A strategist and an implementer who worked in seniorleadership positions with responsibilities for technical delivery, risk advisory, business development and leading a team of skilled professionals. Specializes indriving improvement in environmental, social, health & safety and broader sustainability performancethrough impact analysis, risk management and assurance systems. Proven capacity in stakeholder management, brand management and leading any changemanagement within organizations. Efficient technical and managerial skills,recognized high performer, innovative and articulate with skills to conceptualizeneed, design solutions, manage and deliver business outcomes. An effectivecommunicator with an ability to address grass root and boardroom challengesseamlessly.Saugat has worked with Financial Institutes (Donor / PE / VC/ Impact funds/ ECAs) on a number of assignments for portfolio management, project finance or equity investments advising ondue diligence, capacity building, developing ESGmanagement systems,monitoring and performancedisclosure. Saugat routinely engages on behalf of lending banks or funding agencies therefore familiar with international benchmark standards (IFC-PS, OECD, ABD, and KfW)and regulatory requirements. He has also worked with clients in high hazard industry sectors such as oil and gas, mining, infrastructure and construction and polluting medium and small-scale enterprises sector on behalf of the investors.

Prior to joining ERM, Saugat worked for a leading oil and gas company engaged in upstream, midstream operations in Asiaand North Europe and in a FMCG company, responsible for EHS across multiple facilities.  His key responsibilities included EHS complianceand driving performance enhancement programs on behalf of his employer.


Saugata Bhattacharya, Exec VP and Chief Economist, Axis Bank

Mr. Saugata Bhattacharya is Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at Axis Bank. He was previously with Unilever in India and with Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC). He has studied at the Delhi School of Economics and Oxford University.

He was a member of the RBI’s Group on of Monetary Policy (2010) and the Finance Ministry Group on Estimating Foreign Savings (2011). He was part of the Core Group supporting the Percy Mistry Committee on Making Mumbai an International Financial Centre in 2007.

He is a member of the CII National Growth and Investment Council and a Special Invitee to the CII Western Region Council. He is a columnist for the Financial Express, and a regular contributor to other newspapers.
