Sandeep Ahuja, MD, VLCC Health Care Ltd

Sandeep Ahuja is Managing Director with VLCC Health Care Ltd. Prior to his current assignment Sandeep was responsible for VLCC’s foray in international markets, based out of Dubai and earlier led the Group’s subsidiary that manufactures and markets personal care products.

Sandeep’s wide and varied experience of over 2 decades spans marketing, brand communications, new market development and profit-centre management. Prior to joining VLCC, he was Director & CEO of Lexicon PR & Corporate Consultants Ltd., an affiliate of the Omnicom Group company, Fleishman-Hillard, Inc., one the world’s largest communications consultancies. He was largely responsible for establishing Lexicon as one of the top 10 communications consultancies in India and worked with a host of prestigious companies as clients, including Avon, Domino’s, Goodyear, Lufthansa, Timex and United Airlines.

A graduate in economics and a postgraduate in marketing & advertising, Sandeep started his career in advertising. Later, he settled down to a long and loaded stint at Escorts Limited, one of the largest engineering conglomerates in India, before taking up the challenge of establishing a full service communications consultancy from the ground up. He moved on to join VLCC in 2002.

Sandeep is also the Chairman of the Wellness Committee as well as a member of the National Executive Committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) for two years running now.

Sandeep's passion for investing in innovative companies drove him to establish Kaizen Private Equity. As the Founder of the fund, he has been instrumental in driving the overall strategy and building the firm's knowledge and client network across the globe. Sandeep’s passion is to work closely with entrepreneurs who have a deep sense of purpose and a solid plan for identifying and owning emerging white spaces and leveraging initial ownership to build highly valuable differentiated and sustainable companies. One of his professional commitments is to promote and improve the overall human wellbeing in emerging markets by investing in opportunities such as education, wellness and smart living. Sandeep has been a part of the venture capital and private equity industry since 2002 and has been credited with numerous successful transactions in the United States and in Asia. He sits on the boards of various education companies and is a frequent speaker on emerging education trends globally. He has an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.

Some of his prior investments include Reconnex, (sold to McAfee) Bridgestream (sold to Oracle), Clairmail (sold to Monitise), LassoLogic (sold to Sonicwall), and Xactly Software. He sits on the boards of various education companies and is a frequent speaker on emerging education trends globally.

He has a MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.

Sandeep is a co-founder & Chief Marketing Officer of TranServ, which has been at the forefront of building & implementing innovative electronic payment products in India.

TranServ Shmart!TM products simplify making and receiving payments - on mobile devices, on the web or in shops across India. Shmart!TM is built around a digital wallet platform which allows individuals to receive funds from own sources as well as from other individuals or corporate entities and such funds can be used across the online as well as offline points.

Sandeep has spent 15 years building & marketing payment products at leading Banks in India. Prior to TranServ, Sandeep was Senior Vice President and Head of Card Products at HSBC India where he was responsible for Product & Marketing Strategy, Card Spends and delivering a seamless customer experience by working in close co-ordination with other payment functions such as distribution, technology, operations, customer service, compliance and risk management.

Sandeep Barasia, Joint MD, Delhivery

Sandeep Barasia is a co-MD of Delhivery.com and responsible for overall revenue, strategy & business development and organization building for the company. He also works closely with the Founder/CEO of Delhivery on Investor relations and fund raising for the company. He has over 20 years of experience across consulting, industry and entrepreneurship in India and abroad.

Just prior to joining Delhivery, Sandeep was a Senior Partner at Bain & Company and a leader of the firm’s consumer products practice in India. He was also part of the team that spearheaded Bain’s entry into India. Sandeep also servers as an Independent Director on the Boards of Godrej Nature’s Basket (premium grocery retailer) and the holding company of the Oberoi Amarvillas (part of the Oberoi Luxury Hotels chain). He also sits on the Advisory Board of Global Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd (a synthetic startup promoted by industry veteran A.Mahendran, Goldman Sachs and Mitsui). Sandeep has an MBA from London Business School (distinction) and BCOM in International Business and Economics from Bond University, Australia


Sandeep Cashyap, Head - Emerging Startups, Google Cloud, India

Sandeep Cashyap is a seasoned sales leader with over 20 years of tech sales experience, 12 of which have been spent working with India’s vibrant startup ecosystem. He is currently the Head of Emerging Startups Business for India at Google Cloud. In this role, he is responsible for driving a cross functional team of sales, engineering and business development specialists to help identify and scale the promising young startups in the country. Prior to joining Google Cloud, Sandep held senior sales and leadership positions at AWS, IBM and Sun Microsystems. He is passionate about building people first sales organizations and contributing to the exponential growth of the startup ecosystem in India.

Sandeep Chaudhury is one of the co-founders of ADOHM and also leads it's in-house technology and innovation team. An entrepreneur from an early age, he has also founded a successful digital marketing agency - Nikulsan Technologies . He has over 8 years of experience in the fields of technology, consulting and online marketing across Healthcare, IT and Digital marketing domains. He brings in his expertise to drive the company's vision, strategy and growth today.

Sandeep started his career being a Director in one of the multi-speciality hospitals in Faridabad, thereafter associated with Wipro as Business Analyst. His special interests in online marketing and his believe in propagating ideas, had lead him to become an entrepreneur. His digital marketing establishment was set-up in 2010 with the objectives to disrupt the traditional agency model and help brands to integrate new technologies and media to better excel in the digital online world. He founded an adtech company - ADOHM which began it's groundbreaking work in 2015 with the sole mission to work towards simplifying the complexities of modern marketing by using Artificial Intelligence.
