Amit Mohan, Chief Operating Officer- LCS & LCS Digital, South Asia, GE Healthcare

Amit is an alumnus of Columbia University from where he completed the coveted Digital Business Leadership program. He also holds masters in Business administration with concentrations in Marketing & Finance from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi and Bachelors in Technology in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra.

At GE Healthcare, Amit is part of the Leadership Team and heads the businesses of LCS, LCS Digital & Inside Sales, for India & South Asia Region. LCS as a business provides Life care solutions equipment- Anesthesia Workstations, ICU Ventilators, Monitoring Solutions, Diagnostic Cardiology, Maternal & Infant care Equipment, Digital OR, Digital ICUs & NICUs.

Prior to joining GE, Amit was able to successfully exit a Healthcare Start-up that he established as an Entrepreneur.

He has over 20 years of Senior Management and Leadership, multi-industry and multi-geography experience with stints in consumer discretionary company -Asian Paints, banking- Citibank, healthcare -Johnson & Johnson, Zimmer Biomet, Smith & Nephew and now GE Healthcare. Amit has extensively worked across India, South Asia, Mozambique, Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore.

In addition to being a Growth and Opportunity professional, Amit is known as a Disruptive Ideas Person, and a Start-up Enthusiast. As a Family they are associated with multiple Philanthropic Initiatives in the areas of Education, Sanitation, & Environment Conservation.


Amit Mookim, Managing Director, South Asia, IQVIA

Amit leads the commercial business for IQVIA across South Asia.  Amit’s responsibility is to leverage IQVIA’s global and regional consulting, data and technology assets and people to assist life sciences, medical technology, healthcare and insurance clients. Amit brings with him a deep knowledge and understanding across key areas like new business setup and growth, strategy, M&A and Private Equity.

Prior to IQVIA, Amit was with KPMG India where he was heading the Healthcare vertical. He was one of the youngest Partners in KPMG and helped the firm build and grow the Private Equity Advisory and Strategy business and also the Healthcare Practice for India and across Asia Pacific. Amit worked across 11 countries across India and Asia Pacific as part of this role.

In his career span of 17 years, Amit has set up and led successful teams in Strategy, PE/ M&A Advisory and Healthcare. He has advised Indian and multinational corporations, funding organizations like the World Bank and DFID, Governments, Private Equity and Venture funds and start-ups. He is a part of some of the leading industry bodies such as FICCI, NATHEALTH, and TiE. Amit has also authored a Thought Leadership for the Future of Healthcare forum which was launched by the President of India in 2014.

In his personal capacity, Amit actively promotes the cause of healthcare entrepreneurship in India and is currently mentoring 2 healthcare start-ups to grow and professionalise. As part of his Board role at TiE, a non-profit organization to support entrepreneurship, Amit has created and set up the healthcare start-up community.  The role of this community is to mentor new start-ups in Healthcare and provide them access to mentors, industry and funding.  

Amit has done his Bachelor in Economics from University of Kolkata and his MBA from FMS, Delhi. Amit believes that fitness and endurance are two key aspects for personality development and is a long distance runner.  He has participated in 15 marathon runs in the last 3 years across 3 countries.

Amit Munjal, Founder and CEO of Doctor Insta, was earlier the CFO and Head of Investments at $120 Billion Division of CitiBank, USA. Prior to that, he was the Senior Vice President of Growth & Investment Strategy at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch, USA where he managed a $100 Billion Investment Fund.

Amit’s prior stints include work in Corporate Strategy Practice of Deloitte Consulting (Clients: Yahoo, Google, Expedia.com etc.) and with Lehman Brothers in Europe and Asia.

Amit is a Regular Speaker on NDTV, CNBC, ETNow, Aaj Tak and is covered extensively by National Dailies on Increasing Employee Productivity and improving Healthcare. He is also an Eminent Panelist and Speaker at Microsoft Health Summits, Harvard Business School, Indiana University-Bloomington, UCLA, Georgia Institute of Technology and MDI Gurgaon. His professional qualifications include an MBA from Indiana University-Bloomington, USA; an Advanced Management from Harvard Business School and CFA Charter from CFA Institute, USA.

Apart from this, Amit is an active Mentor & Advisor to many startups in India and USA and is a Charter Member of TiE, Delhi and of Los Angeles Chapter of CFA Institute. During his spare time, Amit loves to travel, read and do farming.

Amit Patni, Chairman, RAAY Global Investments Pvt Ltd

Amit Patni is a promoter shareholder of Patni Computers and former Director of PCS Technology Ltd. The Patni group was a pioneer in Indian ITES. The promoter family stake in Patni Computers was divested in May 2011 in a sale to iGate Corporation at value of $1.5 billion. Amit has a MBA from Babson College, Boston, USA and 22 years’ of extensive experience in technology, software and projects. He has extensive experience in the computer hardware and components market in India and overseas. In his various roles, Amit has independently ensured implementation of Greenfield projects and launched new business operations.

Currently Amit Patni is Director of RAAY Global Investments (Family Office), Co-founder & Chairman at Nirvana Venture Advisors (40 Million USD Digital & Internet Venture Fund), Co-founder and Partner in Elysium Investment Advisors (Hedge Fund), Co-Founder and Partner in The Hive-India (A Big Data incubator) and Director in Waterfield Advisors Private Limited ( A Boutique Advisory Services firm) .


Amit R. Krishnan, Co-Founder and Principal, FidelisWorld

Amit has 10 years of experience in London and Dubai in investment banking, industry, entrepreneurship, and private equity. This includes 8 years of investing experience with FidelisWorld. He has been involved in various capacities in fundraising, deal sourcing, diligence, transaction negotiation, final closure, and exits of all FW portfolio companies, totaling approx. USD 150 million. Amit was actively involved in setting the overall strategy of the proprietary FidelisWorld vehicle and its portfolio companies. His previous experience includes helping manage the acquisition and integration of a major Middle Eastern steel foundry and valve manufacturer by Tyco, the global industrial firm.

Amit is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and the General Course at the London School of Economics with a major in International Political Economy. He also completed a six-month course at the Beijing Language and Culture University. Born in India and raised in New York, Singapore, and Hong Kong, Amit speaks English, Tamil, Hindi, and Spanish.

Amit Ramani, Founder & CEO, Awfis Space Solutions Private Limited

Mr. Amit Ramani is the Founder & CEO of Awfis Space Solutions, which is India’s largest homegrown flex workspace provider with 42,000 seats across 75+ centers in 12 cities in India. He started Awfis Space Solutions with a vision to revolutionize the office space delivery ecosystem in India through technology-backed just-in-time solutions.

Mr. Ramani is also the Vice President of the Indian Workspace Association (IWA) that has been established by the country's top flex workspace operators to chalk out strategies and represent the problems faced by the industry to the government as well as other stakeholders.

In addition to this, he is also the Vice-Chairman & Strategic Advisor of NCUBE India, a pioneer in providing corporate interior design and build solutions to major corporations across Asia.

Prior to founding Awfis, Mr. Ramani was the COO of NELSON Global, where he managed operations across 37 locations globally, and led the company towards being recognized as one of the top five global design firms. He has over fifteen years of experience in the areas of master planning, strategic planning, design management, workplace & business process improvement, six-sigma based strategies and facility planning.

Given his solid background, Mr. Ramani has provided innovative and complex project services to multinational corporations such as Astra Zeneca, Duke Energy, Bank of America, AT&T, Marsh McLennan, Bristol Myer-Squibb, Lockheed Martin, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and Toyota. He has also worked with organizations such as HOK Consulting, Toyota Motor Sales and The Environments Group.

Mr. Ramani is a member of RICS, NASSCOM and the Young President’s Organization (YPO) Delhi Chapter - a group comprising 200 top business leaders and owners. He is also an active member of the International Facilities Management Association CoreNet for eight years, and serves on the board of its Charlotte Chapter. Mr. Ramani’s  work has been published in the Journal of Corporate Real Estate and he is a frequent speaker at industry forums such as CoreNet Global Summit on topics ranging from real estate strategy to the development of effective work environments. Additionally, Mr. Ramani has also been a guest lecturer at Cornell University, New York University and Texas A&M. He is the recipient of the prestigious IFMA Foundation award for three years in a row owing to his contribution to the field of real estate and facility planning.

Amit heads SlideShare’s Delhi office. He focuses on product management, content and community. Before co-founding SlideShare, Amit had a career in consumer goods marketing and sales. His previous employers include PepsiCo, Asian Paints and Godrej. He holds an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University Of Delhi and a mechanical engineering degree from REC/NIT, Jaipur. Amit is an active participant in the Indian startup circuit, speaking frequently about building and scaling startups.
