Rishi Gupta, MD & CEO, Fino Payments Bank
As the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Fino Payments Bank Rishi Gupta led the bank to profitability in FY19-20 within 3 years of starting operations. By the end of Q3FY23, the bank registered twelve consecutive quarters of profit, reiterating the robustness of the business model.
In November 2021, under his stewardship, Fino became the first payments bank to get listed on the Indian stock exchanges.
Rishi’s vision to make the bank a preferred choice of customers enables Fino to continue making invaluable contribution to the national agenda of financial inclusion and universal banking access.
Rishi is currently associated with one of the premier industry associations in the country, ASSOCHAM as the Co-Chairman of the National Council on Banking and Financial Services.
Rishi Gupta, MD & CEO, FINO PayTech Limited
Rishi Gupta is part of the founding team of FINO and is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FINO PayTech Limited. Rishi has more than 20 years of experience spanning across multiple industries like manufacturing, banking and international institutions. Prior to becoming the MD & CEO, Rishi was serving as the COO and CFO for FINO. He successfully managed to build the operational capabilities, Relationship management and Finance function at FINO.
Rishi's illustrious career began with Maruti Udyog Limited and then joined ICICI Bank where he had exposure to branch banking and corporate banking. Prior to joining FINO, he was working with the International Finance Corporation in New Delhi. He is also the founding member of Business Correspondent Federation of India (BCFI) and the Chairman of its Economic Affairs Committee.
In 2011, 2012 and 2013, Rishi has been awarded "CFO100 Roll of Honor" - an effort to recognize the top 100 senior finance professionals in India. Rishi was also awarded the IMA - “The Indian CFO award for excellence in finance in a startup ” in 2013.
Rishi is a certified Rank Holder Chartered Accountant and Cost & Works Accountant. He did his article training with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He is a Baccalaureate in Commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and had a rank in Delhi University.

In his last stint as the CEO of Times Internet LTD. ( Indiatimes.com ) he shepherded a team that propelled TIL to the No.1 position. The network saw over a 150% growth in revenue and traffic with a considerable brand revitalization of all its digital assets. Prior to joining Times Internet Limited, Rishi launched Urban Eye Media in 1998, focused on creating high end custom design and development solutions for many leading brands and companies. He was CEO for 'sidewalks of the world', an online store dedicated to offering customers unusual art and home décor products around the World. Rishi joined Web 18, the online division of Network 18 Group as Chief Operating Officer, after it acquired Urban Eye Media in 2006.
Rishi is a graduate in Fine Arts from school of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (U.S.A.).
Rishi Kohli, MD, Monsoon Capital
Mr. Rishi Kohli is the Managing Director & CEO at ProAlpha Systematic Capital Advisors, the Indian subsidiary of Monsoon Capital USA and is the Chief Investment Officer for all the quantitative investment and hedging products at Monsoon. Rishi has been among the earliest players in the Indian derivatives market since its inception in 2001 and was a pioneer in options strategies and managed futures strategy research in his broking days. At Monsoon, from 2007, he ran the earliest buy-side quantitative Indian hedge fund. He has been a speaker at many global conferences like Quant Invest in Paris (which is the largest global conference for quantitative funds and investors), Hedge Funds Asia in Hong Kong, Quant Invest Asia in Singapore and and presented his Funds at the largest global conference in the managed futures space held by Managed Funds Association in Miami, US. Rishi did his Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, in 1999, and his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Lucknow, in 2001.

Rishi provides leadership for the continued development of an innovative, robust and secure information technology environment in the organization.
He drives the company’s technological vision and leads the teams that manage information systems and software product development and leading technology operations, ERP implementation, software development and strategic planning, including AI and machine learning strategies. Rishi is responsible for setting the technology direction of the company’s applications and networks that provide around-the-clock support for Ecom Express product offerings. From defining the short term and long-term strategy, he has built the vision of the IT function to on-boarding and developing a strong team.
Prior to joining Ecom Express, Rishi held the position of Head-Information Technology at Blue Dart. A seasoned, highly skilled professional possessing 20+ years of high-quality IT experience, he has a proven track record and experience in developing information management system and successfully conceiving, developing and executing strategies and initiatives that drive revenue, growth, competitive market positioning, profits and stakeholder value.

Ritesh Agarwal is the Founder & CEO of OYO Rooms. OYO Rooms is India’s largest branded network of hotels and is today present in more than 80 cities with 12000 rooms.
Ritesh embarked on his entrepreneurial journey when he was only 17 years old. A college drop-out, he launched his first start-up Oravel Stays Pvt. Ltd. in the year 2012. Oravel was designed as a platformto enable listing and booking of budget accommodation.Being an avid traveler, he soon realized that the budget hospitality sector lacked predictability and presented the consumer, experiences that were very varied. Therefore, he pivoted Oravel to OYO Rooms in 2013 with the key proposition of offering affordable and standardized accommodation to anyone, anywhere looking for a place to stay when not at home. Around the same time he was also selected into the Thiel Fellowship, a program started by Paypal founder, Peter Thiel. He recently graduated from the program and is the first Indian to do so.
As CEO, Ritesh is instrumental in setting the overall strategic vision and direction for the company. Two of his key focus areas are product/technology initiatives and generating/monitoring demand.
Ritesh and OYO Rooms has won national and international accolades including BusinessWorld Young Entrepreneur Award, TIE Lumis Business Excellence Awards, India InternationalTravel Mart Award and Lufthansa ET Now Runway to Success Award.
His other achievements include a book called ‘Kaleidoscope’ written by him, which has around 25 award winning short stories. Other than that, he loves travelling and going for long drives to unwind.
