Ranjan Kapur, Country Manager, WPP
Ranjan Kapur is currently Country Manager - India of WPP one of the world’s largest communications group and the holding company that owns JWT, Ogilvy, Grey, Y&R and Bates, some of the largest advertising agencies worldwide and in India.
Ranjan is a veteran of the advertising business having spent 38 years with Ogilvy. He was honoured with the Industry’s Lifetime Achievement Award from AAAI in 2008. His last assignment with Ogilvy was as Chairman of Ogilvy, India from 1993 to 2003 and is largely credited with its turnaround and accelerated growth thereafter which saw it become India’s largest communications group.
He is an ex-Citibanker. Ranjan has worked in several countries with Ogilvy, including New York and in his last assignment prior to becoming Chairman of the Indian company he held a regional assignment managing Ogilvy’s worldwide clients in Asia Pacific. He was based in Singapore.
He was inducted into the Worldwide Board in 1998 and was elected Vice Chairman Asia Pacific in 2001.
Ranjan is currently on the Boards of MIRC Electronics, Pidilite Industries, Abbott India Limited, Annik Technologies, Eon Premedia, among others. He is also involved in his personal capacity in the development of technology based on-line and mobile services companies.
He is a member of the Governing Board of Bombay First, an NGO that actively works with Government & Civic bodies for the development of Mumbai into a premier global city. Ranjan is also a part of the Citizen’s Action Group, a watchdog body under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister that works directly with the Government of Maharashtra towards Mumbai’s development.
Ranjan heads the Fund-raising Committee at the Indian Cancer Society and has been instrumental in getting their logo redesigned. He has recently spearheaded the Campaign of Hope which is a special fund raising drive and an awareness programme to escalate India’s fight against cancer.

Ranjit Punja, CEO & Co-founder, Creditmantri.com
Ranjit is the CEO and Co-founder at CreditMantri. He has over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, having spent more than 23 years at Citibank, in multiple countries around the globe. Prior to CreditMantri, he had oversight for the Collections function of Citibank’s international consumer lending businesses, and also managed the U.S. Cards Collections business. Ranjit oversees Credit, Key Relationships and Corporate Strategy at CreditMantri. He has an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. In his spare time, Ranjit enjoys motorcycling, cycling, tennis and running.

Ranjit Shah, Co-founder & Managing Partner, Gaja Capital
Ranjit is a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Gaja Capital and is based in Mumbai. He has over 40
years of experience including 18 years as a private equity investor.
At Gaja Capital, Ranjit has led investments in the consumer and financial services sectors. Besides his
core investment and operating responsibilities, Ranjit has helped strengthen Gaja Capital’s
proprietary deal development and in expanding the firm’s investor base.
Ranjit’s prior experience has been in CXO roles in the telecom / technology sector, financial services,
investment banking and consulting. Ranjit has an MBA from the Ross School of Business, University
of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from IIT Bombay.
He is a member of the India Advisory Board of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and also on the
Asia Council of the Global Private Capital Association (GPCA).

Ranjith Boyanapalli, Head of Fintech and Payments Group, Flipkart
Working for Flipkart since 2013, in his current role, Ranjith is responsible for increasing affordability and access to credit for Indians through payments digitization and acceptance to meet the end-goal of powering e-commerce in India.
Under his leadership, Flipkart has undertaken several ambitious initiatives towards solving for India through technology. The company was the first to introduce Debit Card EMIs, Low Cost EMIs, Refunds via Visa Direct, OTP less transactions for < Rs. 2K, and BNPL, amongst others.
Prior to joining Flipkart, Ranjith founded a company called buytheprice.com - one of the earliest e-commerce marketplaces in India dedicated to consumer electronics which was acquired by Tradus.com in 2012. Working in the consumer internet and e-commerce space since 2006, he has also headed eTail for eYantra and held roles in CSC and Infosys. An engineering graduate from CEG Chennai, he also holds an MBA from IIM-Indore
