Ruhie Pande, CHRO, Godrej Properties

Ms. Ruhie Pande serves as Chief Human Resource Officer at Godrej Properties Limited. Ms. Pande serves as Head of Human Resources & Training and Vice President of Kaya Limited at Marico Kaya Enterprises Limited. Ms. Pande has over 15 years of experience and has worked in leading retail brands like ITC Lifestyle Retail and Reliance Brands before joining Kaya Ltd. In her career, she has donned multiple hats and played a crucial role in business partnering. Ranging from being a National Trainer Manager to Divisional HR Manager and HR Head in Reliance Brands. From creating HR strategy supporting business, establishing practices which drive a unique culture at work, to standardization of processes & policies, she has firmly established Kaya HR in the role of Business Partner. She Most Influential HR Leaders in India - CHRO Asia. She won Women Leadership Achievement Award - 4th World Women Leadership Congress & Award (WWLCA). She successfully spearheaded Building capability in the organization through Learning & Development programs, driving innovative remuneration programs, creating the right structure to deliver strategy are amongst many other things. Ms. Pande holds a B.Sc. in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management, Lucknow and has also done a PG Diploma course in Human Resources at Symbiosis college, Pune.


Rujan Panjwani, Executive Director, Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd

A veteran in the financial services industry, Rujan Panjwani has over two and half decades of experience in the industry working across all asset classes. Rujan has been with Edelweiss group since 2000 and has played an important role in setting up several businesses for the Edelweiss Group including Asset Management and Credit. He helped set up the Group’s Treasury and Balance sheet unit and is a member of the Assets & Liabilities Committee (ALCO) that primarily oversees the implementation of an effective process for managing Edelweiss’s interest rate, liquidity and similar market risks relating to the balance sheet and associated activities, including the adoption of policies, risk limits and capital levels from time to time. He also set up Edelweiss’s Global Risk Group – the nodal point for all risk monitoring and management and is a member of the Global Risk Committee – the highest decision making body in Edelweiss on Risk-related issues.

Rupen Jhaveri, Managing Director, Private Equity: Mumbai, KKR

Rupen Jhaveri (Mumbai) joined KKR in 2009 and has been a member of the India investing team since its founding. At KKR, he has led investments in Ramky Enviro, Alliance Tires, Magma Fincorp, Dalmia Cement, Max Financial Services, Emerald Media, SBI Life Insurance, Bharti Infratel and HDFC. Prior to joining KKR, he was with Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its principal investment area and Warburg Pincus in Mumbai where he was involved in a number of investments including Mahindra & Mahindra, NDTV, Amtek Auto, Sigma Electric, Sintex, Dainik Bhaskar, amongst others. Mr. Jhaveri holds a B.S., magna cum laude, from Leonard N. Stern School of Business of New York University.

Rushank Vora, Principal Investments, ICICI Ventures

Rushank has over 10 years of private equity investment experience. At ICICI Venture he handles investments in the Life sciences and Logistics practice. His private equity experience has spanned from turning around startups, identifying innovative investment opportunities, investing in growth opportunities and executing successful exits. At ICICI Venture, he has been involved in all their healthcare investments (5 hospital groups: KIMS Hospitals - Hyderabad, Medica Synergie – Kolkata, Sahyadri – Pune, Vikram Hospital – Bangalore and R G Stone Urology), 4 in the Pharma space (2 tie-ups with Dr Reddy's Laboratories [amongst the top Pharma companies globally], Malladi [A research based company which is India’s largest manufacturer of Pseudoephedrine Hcl] and JV with Wockhardt [(amongst the top Pharma companies in India]).

Prior to joining ICICI Venture, he has worked with the Aditya Birla Group, one of India’s leading conglomerates, in their Corporate Finance Department, focusing on M&A. He has also worked with Pfizer India in their Strategic Planning and Business Development department where he was involved in M&A, corporate strategy and commercialization alliances.

Rutvik Doshi, Director, Inventus Capital Partners

Rutvik Doshi joined Inventus after 12 years of successful technology industry operating roles. Mr. Doshi has participated in India’s fast emerging internet ecosystem since 2007, first with Google where he launched several products including Voice Search, Google Mobile App, SMS Channels and managed Google News globally, and most recently as the CEO of ecommerce startup Taggle in Bangalore. Before Google he spent 6 years in the U.S. building internet management software for CA Technologies and a startup. Mr. Rutvik Doshi holds a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur and an MBA from INSEAD, France. He also holds 6 patents.


Ryan Fernandes, Head- Strategic Investments, Pidilite Industries Ltd.

He currently heads the strategic Investments function at Pidilite Industries Ltd where he leads strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, Mergers, start-up investments and strategic partnerships such as Joint ventures and other strategic alliances. Last year he played a pivotal role in Pidilite’s biggest ever acquisition and integration of the Araldite brand from the Huntsman group. Apart from driving the strategic investment initiatives he is also responsible for working on the finance strategy of these acquired entities. Over his stint with Pidilite he has played multiple roles where he was responsible for commercial finance, spearheading and streamlining the newly acquired brands, and later was instrumental in driving the manufacturing, depot and plant finance function. He currently serves as an Investor observer on the Board of Aapkapainter solutions Pvt. Ltd.

He is also associated with the ICAI, Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and Chamber of Tax consultants in various capacities and has served on various committees. On the extra-curricular side of things he has won numerous accolades in Debates, Elocutions and Singing and has taken classical training under the guidance of Pdt. Murli Manohar Shukla. He is also involved in numerous philanthropic activities. His hobbies are singing, traveling, cooking and reading. He is an avid reader and loves reading in his spare time.

Mr. Ryan Pinto is CEO of the Ryan International Group of Institutions. One of India's youngest social entrepreneurs in the K-12 education sector, he has grown the Ryan International Group of Institutions (RIGI) in India and overseas, to over 125 institutions, educating more than 250,000 students. He studied at Warwick University and Aston University, and received a master's degree in business and entrepreneurship from Cass Business School, London.
