Rajan Vasa, President, TiE Ahmedabad

Rajan Vasa has recently been elected President of TiE Ahmedabad chapter.  Mr. Vasa is the Chairman & Managing Director of Contech BPO Services Private Limited (CBSPL) – A Healthcare, Music and Customer Interaction BPO Services Company based out of Ahmedabad. CBSPL works with various clients in the US, UK, Europe and India.  Mr. Vasa is also the Managing Director of Rajka Realty Pvt. Ltd, a Real Estate Development, Marketing and Maintenance Management services company.  

Mr. Vasa has recently been appointed as Senior Advisor to KPMG India, to help KPMG establish and grow strong presence in Gujarat.  Prior to this, Mr. Vasa was Managing Director of Contech Software Limited.

Earlier, Mr. Vasa has spent eight years in the US and prior to returning to India, had received Practical Training as a Product Marketing Manager at Oracle Corporation, USA for close to two years.

Mr. Vasa has more than twenty years experience in the Services Industry.  He is a dynamic leader and a strong believer in Human Relations.  Due to his long stay in the US and good understanding of the Global Market, he has been seamlessly working on combining the business opportunities and strengths of the Global Clients and Indian Resources ever since his return to his homeland of Gujarat in 1990.    
 
Mr. Vasa is also involved in several professional organizations like IACC, TiE, GESIA, AMA, NASSCOM, CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM and GCCI.  He has contributed to the cause of the Industry and Entrepreneurship in the State of Gujarat, India by founding and/or heading organizations like Gujarat Electronics And Software Industries Association (GESIA), TiE Ahmedabad Chapter, Indo American Education Society (IAES) and IACC Gujarat. He has been a committee member of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry ( GCCI ), Ahmedabad Management Association ( AMA ) and an advisor to the Government of Gujarat.  Mr. Vasa is an active member of Stanford and USC Alumni Associations.

A marketer, strategist, and brand builder with over 20 years of experience, Rajat Gandhi is the Founder & CEO of Faircent, India’s largest peer-to-peer lending platform.  As one of the earliest Internet professionals in India, Rajat has leveraged his extensive expertise in online and digital realms to pioneer the concept of online peer-to-peer lending in India and establish Faircent as the largest P2P lending platform in the country.

Through Faircent, Rajat has been playing a critical role in extending the benefits of financial inclusion to India’s traditionally underserved populace and democratising debt by enabling access to cheap and fast credit for borrowers including the SME/MSME segment. It also provides a new asset class to investors looking to maximise returns on their idle funds. This focus on offering greater value for all stakeholders in the lending value chain has been the key driver behind Faircent’s exponential growth.

Rajat holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and has been involved in launching and building online portals and communities as well as e-commerce, classifieds, and digital advertising businesses for some of the leading organisations in the country. He led multiple initiatives during his time at The Times Group and was deeply involved in the launch of new portals like Timesjobs.com, Magicbricks.com, and Simplymarry.com as a founding member. Before founding Faircent in 2013, he was associated with Performics, a digital marketing agency of Chicago-based Publicis Group, as its Senior Vice President.

Rajat is currently the VP Products and Engineering at ZipDial. He has over 7 years of web based commercial and SaaS product management and overall more than 15 years of SDLC experience. Rajat is a graduate from IIT Kanpur.

Prior to ZipDial Rajat worked as VP Engineering at Naukri.com, CTO at Too Step, Consultant at Headstrong, and Analyst at Wipro.

Rajat Mehta, Senior President & Country Head Brand Retail & Digital Marketing, YES BANK | @YESBANK

Rajat Mehta is the Senior President & Country Head- Brand, Retail & Digital Marketing at YES BANK, one of India’s largest private sector banks. In his leadership role at YES BANK, Rajat is responsible for Marketing & Communications of the Retail and SME businesses, across 1,000 branches in India as well as International operations for the bank. He also manages Product Marketing across all Liabilities, Assets, NRI, Cards, Third Party and Direct Banking product portfolios.
