Prashant is a Partner at Lightbox, a Mumbai based venture capital firm investing in consumer technology companies.
After an MBA at Wharton, Prashant began his career in finance at Lehman Brothers where he understood the art of investing in emerging markets. Keen to learn more about how technology was changing the world, he moved to Silicon Valley to join Yahoo where he led commercial operations that generated over $150 million in annual revenue.
Having seen the promise of technology in emerging markets, Prashant and his family moved to Mumbai in the midst of the world financial crisis to lead an early stage technology start up – Komli Media. Over the next five years, first as COO and then as CEO, Prashant led an incredibly talented team to position Komli as Asia’s leading advertising technology company. Along the way, they grew revenues 50x and expanded into 10 new international markets.
In 2014, Prashant joined Lightbox. Most recently, he led the $185MM investment commitment from Reliance in AI-platform Embibe. This is the largest AI investment in education any where in the world.

Prashant Ojha is the Head, sales and marketing - South Asia Region at Electronic Arts. He has 22 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development - leading Global Brands in Mobile VAS, Digital Entertainment, Youth Lifestyle and Retail Businesses in India and South Asia.
Proior to EA he was the head sales and operations at Sony Playstation India and was responsible for Sales numbers and inventory planning for both software & hardware. Prior to this he was the business head at EA where he managed the packaged goods business for Electronic Arts in India.
Prashant is an MBA, Marketing & Finance from RA Podar Institute of Management and BSc from University of Rajasthan.

Mr. Prashant Parameswaran, Managing Director, Kottaram Agro Foods, has packaged the humble Ragi (Finger Millet) into tasty, delicious, healthy, breakfast options under the brand name SOULFULL. The company was formed in 2011.
Post his Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Prashant successfully setup business units from scratch in India in the field of distribution and retail under the Kottaram Group umbrella. He is armed with an MBA from Babson College and experience with international firms like Limited brands and Information Resources Inc. ; where he was a Director supporting the Marketing Strategies team at Safeway Supermarkets out of their California headquarters till 2009.

Purker is the Managing Director & CEO of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited (ICICI Venture) which is one of India’s oldest, largest and most diversified alternative asset managers with a historical AUM since 2002 of over USD 4.25 billion across four verticals: Private Equity, Real Estate, Special Situations (in a strategic alliance with Apollo Global Management, US) and Infrastructure. Purker has over 29 years of experience in financial markets. He also co-heads the Private Equity vertical of ICICI Venture and has played a key role in the creation of ICICI Venture’s high quality portfolio of PE investments over the past 9 years and the strong exits performance of ICICI Venture’s PE funds during this period.
Prior to joining ICICI Venture in 2009, he worked at Nomura India and Lehman Brothers India as the Managing Director & Head – Global Finance for India in the Investment Banking Division. Prior to that he spent over 5 years with ICICI Bank, where his last role was Senior General Manager and Head – Global Principal Investment & Trading Group. He has previously also worked with institutions such as Citibank, Peregrine and BNP. Purker has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad where he was also a rank holder.

Mr. Purker has over 28 years of experience in financial markets. He has a deep and varied experience in Indian capital markets, across both equity (including listed as well as unlisted equities) and debt capital products.
He joined ICICI Venture in August 2009 and has been a member of the leadership team at ICICI Venture since then. He has served on the Board of Directors of ICICI Venture since 2010 initially as an Executive Director and since December 2015, as the Managing Director and CEO of the company. In this capacity, he chairs the Investment Committees of various funds managed by the Company. He co-heads the Private Equity practice of ICICI Venture and chairs the Investment Committees of all the PE funds managed or advised by the company. He has played a key role in the strong exits performance of ICICI Venture’s PE practice over the past 7 years as well as the creation of the high quality portfolio of PE investments made by the company during this period.

Prashant is a veteran with wide domain expertise built over 25 years in healthcare IT. He has provided technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of an integrated & automated healthcare system. In addition, he has been instrumental in installing ICT setup in various corporate hospitals. In his previous role, Prashant was CIO at Radiant Life Care, which is into redeveloping, developing, managing and operating healthcare facilities. During this tenure, he led various automation projects like Cost Accounting, Mobile Applications for Doctors and Patients, Food and Beverage workflow management, Blood Bank automation, Seamless workflow from Doctor Appointment to Queue Management, and Digitization of OP Prescription.
Singh is a graduate from Delhi University, and also holds a master’s degree in IT from Karnataka University and a Management program on Healthcare Data Analytics from IIM Ahmedabad.
