Pradeep Sampath, COO, MMP Mobiwallet Limited (mRupee)

Pradeep Sampath is the Chief Operating officer of MMPL, the Mobile Payments arm of TataTele Services Limited. He has over 18 years of experience in the areas of Sales & Operations across Payments, Network and IT. His last assignment was with ElectraCard Services (P) Limited where he was responsible for Sales & Business Development for Switching & Card Management Solutions. He was managing the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa Operations based out of Dubai. His experience spans across companies like Network Solutions Limited, Wipro Limited, Infotech Group, IBM India Private Limited and Euronet Services India (P) Limited.
 
He has completed his Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics & Instrumentation) from Bharathidasan University. He has also pursued his Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Loyola Institute of Business Administration.


Pradeep Singh, Director, Valuations & Modeling, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP

Pradeep has an experience of around 16 years in valuations. Throughout his career, Pradeep has assisted and lead in various engagements spanning valuation of shares, businesses, intangibles, portfolio valuations, for a host of purposes including fund raises, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and regulatory purposes and across a variety of sectors including healthcare, technology, infrastructure, energy, consumer and manufacturing.

Pradeep has also assisted clients in financial modeling and corporate finance engagements.

Pradeep has served a large number of Indian and International business groups / companies in listed and private space.


Pradeep Tagare, Investment Director, Intel Capital | @intelcapital

Pradeep is an Investment Director at Intel Capital India, and is responsible for investments in technology-related companies in India and South Asia. His portfolio in India includes companies such as One97/PayTM, Hungama.com, Nxtgen Datacenter, healthkart.com, Persistent Systems, etc. Prior to Intel Capital India, he was with Intel Capital in Silicon Valley and invested in enterprise software companies. He has over a decade of operating experience at leading technology companies in Silicon Valley, including starting his own venture-backed mobile software products company. Pradeep has a MS(EE) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a BE(EE) from the University of Bombay(VJTI), and is a Fellow of the Kauffman Fellows Program.


Pradipta K. Mohapatra, Chairman, CFI Ltd.

Pradipta K Mohapatra is the President and CEO of the Technology Businesses of the RPG Group, which comprise companies in the IT, bio-tech, pharma and communication sectors. Pradipta is an alumnus of the Jamnalal Bajaj and Harvard Business School.

During the 90s, he was responsible for pioneering India's entry into modern organized retailing through the Foodworld, Musicworld, Health & Glow and Giant Hypermarkets stores.

He lectures in a number of business schools in India and abroad, and is represented in the Governing Councils of three Business Schools and Board of Studies of two prominent universities. He led initiatives to get industry and academy to work closer together as Chairman of the Education Sub-Committee of Confederation of Indian Industries for three years, and is currently the Chairman of the Southern Region of CII.


Pradyumn Singh, Co-founder & MD, Pharmarack Technologies

Pradyumn Singh is the Co-founder & MD of Pharmarack Technologies a healthtech startup focusing on e-distribution, supply chain efficiencies, big data analytics driven through AI and machine learning technologies. A chemical engineer by education, He is an ardent believer in progressive business disruption through big data and insight mining.

With over 15 yrs of experience across various functions like Business lead, Marketing, Structuring, Strategy & operations in Debt market & Asset management sector, Pradyumn is a problem solver.

Pradyumn founded Pharmarack and built its core team. He spearheads sales, business operations besides guiding overall product development and creating long lasting relations with the network.


Prafulla Mathur, Founder & CEO, WudStay

Prafulla Mathur is the Founder and CEO of WudStay. WudStay is a major online marketplace for budget accommodations that promises Gold Standard for services. Under Prafulla’s leadership WudStay raised $3 million from leading market players like Mangrove Capital, and acquired Awesome Stays Pvt. Ltd, an offline budget hotel aggregator, within less than three months of starting its operations.

A young innovator, Prafulla is a serial entrepreneur, who has also founded one of India’s leading mobile app development company Queppelin. Launched in 2010 Queppelin has worked with clients like Facebook, Times of India, Reliance, BoxTV, Gaana.com, Nissan, Nokia, etc.  Queppelin won Red Herring in 2011, an award presented to most exciting startups from Asia, Europe and the Americas. He also developed technologies which have been showcased at Mobile World Congress, Barcelona.

Prafulla is an alumnus of St. Xavier School, Jaipur and a chemical engineer from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur (guardian college of IIT Jodhpur). Prior to founding WudStay and Queppelin, Prafulla gained technology and management experience of eight years in UK and India while working with Halifax bank of Scotland, Lehman brothers, and Mastek. He is passionate about music and has been a professional musician with his vocals and guitars.

Prakash Bakshi, Chairman, NABARD

Dr Prakash Bakshi started his professional career as a Lecturer in Economics for Post Graduate Studies at Ravishankar University, Raipur in 1977. He joined ARDC as Agricultural Economist in 1979 and moved over to NABARD when it was formed in 1982. He rose up the ladder and recently superannuated as Chairman of NABARD. During his tenure he handled many assignments for the Govt of India and RBI. He was Member-Secretary of the Committee set up by Government of India (2009) to examine the capital restructuring of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs). He was Member Secretary of the Working Group of the Planning Commission which estimated the credit needs for agricultural sector for the XII Plan. He was Chairman of the Expert Committee appointed by the RBI to revamp cooperative banks. He has recently been appointed by the RBI as member of the Committee on Financial Inclusion of small businesses and low income households. He has advised and spoken at many international forums including advising the Howard Buffet Foundation.

Prakash is a multi-faceted Sales Director and Cyber Security Specialist having spent over 17 years driving expansion and growth strategies across Asia Pacific, with particular focus on leading B2B marketing of SaaS software solutions to clients across diverse industries including healthcare, banking/financial services, and government.

Specifically, he is a pragmatic problem solver with a demonstrated track record of building and maintaining partnerships that last.

Prakash enjoys multi-dimensional roles, especially where he can be part of innovative products and solutions that make a difference to customers and organisations as a whole. He believes that change is the only constant and finds gratification in seeing how safe and secure technology has really opened new opportunities in not only business and commerce but the everyday lives of people.

This is why driving digital transformation and security solutions, while building ecosystems necessary for the growth of IT within new markets, and ensuring new products are accessible to all, is what he continues to be passionate about.
