Prasad Gadkari, Head, Strategic Investments & Policy Advisory Group, National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF)

Prasad Gadkari heads the Strategic Investments and Policy Advisory Group at National Investment & Infrastructure Fund (NIIF). He has about 20 years’ infrastructure investing experience across private equity, principal investments, joint ventures, project finance, corporate & policy advisory. His most recent assignment before NIIF was as Managing Director at TVS Capital.
Earlier, Prasad used to be a Partner with IDFC Private Equity with a focus on core infrastructure (roads, airports, water, power transmission, ports & railways) and social sectors (education & healthcare). At IDFC PE, he handled the entire life cycle of the infrastructure private equity business ranging from fund raise to investing, portfolio management, Board directorships and profitable exits. Some of his notable deals were India’s first infrastructure asset holdco, first corporatized student housing business, largest private airport in the country, a water solutions company and South Asia’s largest chain of oncology hospitals.
In a previous role, Prasad was with General Electric (GE), where he handled the company’s infrastructure investing activities in South Asia, Middle East & N. Africa. Key assignments handled by him at GE were creation of joint ventures for metro railway projects, airports and a domestic infrastructure fund.
Prior to GE, Prasad was with IDFC Ltd where he led project financing deals such as Hyderabad Airport, Vizag Container Port, Annuity & Toll Roads and handled advisory assignments for Government entities such as NHAI, JNPT and Railways.
Prasad received an MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai and is a CFA Charter holder.

Prasad Gopalan, Head, Agribusiness, Asia, International Finance Corporation

Prasad is responsible for IFC agribusiness investments across South and East Asia based out of Hong Kong. IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, has a portfolio of about 30 companies in these two regions, across the agricultural supply chain. Globally, IFC agribusiness portfolio stands at US$ 2.7 billion, comprising both debt and equity investments.

Prior to his current assignment, Prasad spent three years in India and started IFC Chennai office. As the Head of Chennai office, he was also responsible for agribusiness, chemicals and technology investments in South Asia. He joined the World Bank Group as a Young Professional in 1996 and has worked on transactions across Asia spanning a variety of sectors including manufacturing, technology, health and education, agribusiness, chemicals and microfinance.

Prasad has graduate degrees in Chemical and Environmental Engineering. He also has a Public Policy degree from Harvard University.

Prasad Pillai, Co Founder & CEO, Elsys Intelligent Devices Pvt. Ltd

Prasad is the prime-mover and chief strategist at eLsys. His passion is in building solutions for common everyday problems employing modern electronics and internet technologies.. He is now passionate about facilitating next-gen accident detection and analysis systems in India. Prasad and his team developed and successfully crowdfunded a first of the kind technology in India around Internet of Things powered safety gadget with focus on connected cars and emergency management on Indian roads.

Prior to co-founding Elsys, Prasad gained over 15 years of experience in product design and development in high technology areas like fiber lasers systems, optical amplifiers and consumer hardware devices. Along with relevant small and startup company exposure Prasad has also gained experience at large corporations like Microsoft Redmond and Toro Corporation in USA working as their engineering consultant for new consumer product development initiatives.

Prasad Shetty, Managing Director, Forensic & Litigation Consulting, FTI Consulting

Prasad Shetty is a Managing Director in the Global Risk & Investigations practice at FTI Consulting and is based in Mumbai, India. His areas of expertise include forensic accounting, bribery and corruption reviews, employee misconduct investigations, internal audit and management reviews. Prasad has multi-geographic work experience including India, Africa, Middle East, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Prasad has over 15 years of forensics and risk consulting experience. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Prasad was an Associate Partner with Ernst & Young for over six years and was the lead on multiple forensics investigations in the Indian sub-continent and Africa. Before Ernst & Young, Prasad worked with KPMG in India for over six years in risk consulting and revenue assurance. Before joining the “Big Four”, Prasad worked with Hutchison Essar Limited (now Vodafone) and AF Ferguson & Co. (now a member of Deloitte).

Prasad has been a speaker at several events and seminars on corporate governance, compliance, bribery and corruption, commercial disputes and arbitrations. He has also conducted various trainings for multinational corporations on managing fraud risks, employee code of conduct violations and improving corporate governance.

Prasad is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and he has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Mumbai University, India. He has also cleared the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) examination.

Prasad Tilve, Head Business Development & Strategy, CapitaLand India, Data Centre Group

Prasad brings over 25+ years of experience in Sales and business development, focusing on large technology services in Data Center, Cloud, Managed Services, Managed Security services, and Solution Sales across all verticals.

Prasad currently Heads Business Development & Strategy for CapitaLand India Data Centre Group, and his role entails Sales, Strategic Partnerships, New Product Development and P&L.

His prior stint of 10+ years with NTT Global Datacenters and Cloud services has diverse 
expertise in Sales, Strategic Alliances, Channel Partners Ecosystem, Government & PSU vertical. 

Before managing Datacenter sales, Prasad has spent 5 years at ADC Krone (TYCO) with P&L responsibility as Regional Manager and Datacenter Specialist. Other rich start up experiences, including TVS Interconnect, WQ Systems, and Online Netsys, make him the perfect Go to market individual. Innovative thinker with broad-based expertise in Start-up operations, with a sound understanding of IT practices and the underlying framework of IT products and services.

Prasad.P, Group Executive Vice President, Food and Agribusiness Strategic Advisory and Research, YES Bank

Prasad P. has been with FASAR team of YES BANK since 2008. His previous professional assignments have been across food & agri value chain including start-ups and organised players ranging from BASF Chemicals, Reliance Retail amongst others. He has functional expertise in upmarkets sales of agri-inputs to handling procurement of agricultural commodities besides agri exports.

Prasad is trained in agriculture and agribusiness management; and has a Bachelors degree in agriculture from GB Pant University, Pantnagar and later in Agribusiness management from MANAGE, Hyderabad.

Prasan Dhar, Partner - Banking and Finance, Trilegal

Prasan is an experienced debt finance lawyer and regularly acts for lenders as well as sponsors on significant and complex debt finance mandates. He has particular experience in special situations, distressed debt and restructuring and insolvency matters.

His clients include several private credit funds and platforms, international banks development finance institutions and multilateral lenders.

Prior to joining Trilegal, Prasan worked for many years in the finance practice of a global law firm in London, advising on high-value emerging markets transactions.

Prasanna Bora, MD - Lifesciences, o3 Capital

Prasanna heads the Lifesciences practice at o3 Capital. He has over 17 years of experience in investment banking and has closed multiple transactions across sectors with a special focus on Healthcare and Pharma. He has product expertise in Private Equity Syndication, M&A and Structured Credit.

Prior to o3 Capital, he has worked with HDFC Bank in their investment banking division.

Prasanna holds an MBA degree from IIM Kozhikode and completed his graduation from Mumbai University.
