Parimal Pandya, Senior Director, Emerging Customer Group, Akamai

Parimal runs the Emerging Customer's Group at Akamai where he is responsible for sales, marketing and services for global mid-market customers. Previously, he helped start Akamai's application acceleration business and led product management, business strategy and operations.

Prior to Akamai, he cofounded two start-ups in consumer media software and ecommerce sectors in New York City. He later served as an investment associate at a New York City based venture fund where he assessed and advised early stage venture capital investments in mobile, media and cloud infrastructure sectors.

Parimal earned an MS in Electrical Engineering and Management from Columbia University in New York. He lives in Bangalore now and  is an active participant in the Bangalore start up community.


Parinita Gohil, Partner, Learning Delight

With a strong education in Biotechnology and a Masters in Business Laws, Parinita, saw Learning Delight as a natural next step for her career. Joining forces with Harshal and Vandan as the marketing force for the team, Parinita was able to quickly help bring life to the vision for the company, the small team of three started not only implanting solutions across rural schools in Gujarat but also managing services for them. Coming from a tier 3 city herself, Parinita felt a strong connect with some of the challenges many schools from the rural areas face, and was able to tackle them not only from an operational perspective but also build strong relationships with most of the schools that Learning Delight worked with in a short span of time.

He is currently deputed as Head of IT for IDFC First Bharat Limited, which is a subsidiary of IDFC First Bank.

1. DVP and Functional Head of IT Infrastructure, ATM & Switch Operations, IT Projects, Application Support.
2. Senior Project Manager heading Enterprise Platform Engineering portfolio for Royal Bank of Scotland in India.

Parth Gandhi, Senior Partner and Managing Director, AION Capital

Parth Gandhi is Senior Partner and Managing Director at AION India Investment Advisors Private Limited. Prior to that he was President of Private Equity at ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Limited. At ICICI Venture he was responsible for establishing the strategic partnership with Apollo and in developing AION Investment strategy. He brings nearly two decades of investing experience in India. Over the course of his career, he has invested in multiple Indian as well as international companies. His investments have been in listed and unlisted companies in the form of equity, mezzanine and senior debt. He currently serves on the board of Aion Capital Partners, Aion Capital Management, Clix Capital and Clix Finance.


Parth J. Shah, Founder president, Centre for Civil Society | @ccsindia

Parth J. Shah is founder president of the Centre for Civil Society. CCS advances social change through public policy. Their work in education, livelihood, and policy training promotes choice and accountability across the private and public sectors. To translate policy into practice, CCS engages with policy and opinion leaders through research, pilot projects and advocacy.

Parth taught economics at the University of Michigan before returning to India to start CCS. He has published academic articles in the areas of development economics, welfare economics, business-cycle theory, free or laissez-faire banking, and currency-board systems. He has edited Morality of Markets, Friedman on India, Profiles in Courage: Dissent on Indian Socialism, Do Corporations have Social Responsibility?, and co-edited Law, Liberty, and Livelihood, The Terracotta Reader, and Agenda for Change. He writes regularly in newspapers and magazines.

Partha Dey, Sr. General Manager, ICICI Bank

Mr. Partha Dey serves as a Senior General Manager at ICICI Bank and has more than two decades of professional experience. He currently holds multiple responsibilities and one among them entail resolution of stressed assets. As part of the same, he has been closely involved in implementing a diverse array of resolution mechanisms over the last few years entailing both recapitalizations and business restructurings.

Prior to this, Mr. Dey was with ICICI Venture, the private equity arm of ICICI Bank.  Before moving to ICICI Venture, Mr. Dey served as General Manager of the Project Finance business at ICICI Bank and was actively associated with evolution of infrastructure financing in India spanning all its sub-sectors over more than a decade. He led financing of a significant number of landmark infrastructure transactions with successful outcome. He also has experience in consulting with focus on operational turnaround and business strategy.

He graduated from IIT Kharagpur (B.Tech) and IIM Calcutta (MBA).


Parthiv Kamdar, Partner, Deloitte

Parthiv is a Partner with Deloitte’s direct tax practice with over 15 years of experience. He specializes in M&A and has vast experience of advising clients on succession planning, promoter level restructuring, corporate restructuring, domestic and cross border M&A, capital restructuring, post-merger/ acquisition global integration,, etc. from a tax & regulatory perspective.

He has led and managed engagement for several large, complex, multinational clientele, including large Indian multinational having presence in various overseas countries. These companies included large listed companies and large business houses in India.

He has authored articles on various subjects such as Limited Liability Partnerships Act, Substantial Acquisitions of Shares and Takeover Code, etc. He is also a speaker at various seminars conducted by professional bodies such as ICAI and ICSI.


Parvez Umrigar, Co-head, Structured Investments Group, Piramal Enterprises Ltd

Mr. Parvez Umrigar has been involved with the India Infrastructure Industry since last 15 years. He had a stint of a decade with Gammon Group where he gained the experience to work on Infrastructure projects. He was the Managing Director of Gammon Infrastructure Projects Limited, among the fore most companies to enter PPP space. He had worked with the Group for 13 years.

After Gammon, he was the Managing Director and CEO for Welspun Infratech Ltd. Welspun Infratech, was mandated to participate in opportunities present in Infrastructure space in India. He also chaired the Board of Leighton - Welspun, the company incorporated in India by Leighton Group. He had a 2 year stint with Welspun Group as Managing Director and CEO of Welspun Infratech Limited.

Presently, he is working as Co Head in the Investements arm of Piramal Enterprises Ltd.
