M V S Murthy, is a consumer marketing professional and brings to the table over 15 years of work experience. During this time he has transitioned from conventional advertising, into digital marketing and then over to the marketer's side. He has been an ICICI Banker for a large part of his career.

The roles he has handled include those of client servicing and account planning, interactive strategy, key account management & business development. With ICICI Bank he has worked on new Customer acquistion both at retail and corporate levels. He was the Head of Product, Portfolio & Marketing for Privilege Banking at ICICI Bank

At present he looks after New Product Development for retail liability products and also the bank's My Savings Rewards Loyalty Program. He is a digital migrant and is presently working on being digital to stay relevant in blurring geographies and data driven marketing.

N Venkat, Co-Founder, CEO/MD, Vyome Biosciences

Venkat has more than 25 years of experience in successfully leading and growing consumer products and life sciences companies in India. He has held senior leadership roles in leading consumer goods companies CavinKare and Emami and was instrumental in their all-round growth, contributing across all corporate functions. Venkat also significantly contributed and gained rich experience in leadership roles at life sciences companies Shantha Biotechnics (now a part of the Sanofi Aventis group) and Aurobindo Pharma. He has a Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering and holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

N. Vaghul, Former Chairman, ICICI Bank Ltd

Mr. Vaghul has 49 years of experience in the financial sector and has been the Chairman of Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India Limited for 16 years, and of ICICI Bank for the last three years. Prior to this, he was Chairman of the Bank of India and Executive Director of the Central Bank of India. He was chosen as the Businessman of the Year in 1992 by Business India, a leading Indian publication, and has served as a consultant to the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation and the Asian Development Bank. Mr. Vaghul was also a visiting Professor at the Stern Business School at New York University.

Mr. Vaghul is Chairman of the Indian Institute of Finance Management & Research and is also a board member of various other companies, including Wipro Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra Limited, Nicholas Piramal India Limited, Apollo Hospitals Limited and Himatsingka Seide Limited.

Mr. N. Viswanathan - Head Big Data, Cloud & Legacy Transformation, leads the Strategy and the ‘Centre of Excellence’ (CoE) of L&T Infotech. Viswanathan is a frequent speaker at major conferences in India & abroad. He has published Technical papers as well as articles in magazines like Information Week. Viswanathan is a TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect. His interest areas are Performance Engineering & Enterprise Architecture. He plays an advisory role to many projects & clients and is a Technology Evangelist.

N.K. Ranganath, CEO, Grundfos India

N K is the Managing Director of Grundfos Pumps India Pvt. Ltd. from its inception in 1998. He completed his Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy in 1978 and his Post Graduation in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur in 1980. He has over 28 years of experience covering marketing, sales, design, project management, finance and HR. Prior to joining Grundfos Pumps, he was a Director of IAEC Industries making boilers, burners, pollution control equipment, incinerators and energy recovery equipment.

He has earlier worked in the Middle East erecting captive power plants up to 5MW and Transmission and Distribution lines. His first job was with Eicher Tractors.

His job has necessitated travel to many countries and he has been involved in technology transfer to India from other countries. Grundfos India under him has been very successful and also has the distinction of having one of the first green rated buildings in India. His focus has been on water and energy conservation and he is the Chairman of the CII-GBC water management council. He is also active in the Madras Management Association and is a member of the Executive Committee.

N.S. Rao, Partner, Brescon & Allied Partners LLP

Mr N.S. Rao is Partner at Brescon & Allied Partners LLP, a firm specializes in the Stressed Assets Resolution space. Over the past twenty years been involved in corporate financial restructuring and resolution across various frame-works under RBI dispensation. Been part of Brescon since its inception in providing its advisory for over 125 corporates in the distress resolution since 1997.

He has over three and half decades of experience spanning across project finance, financial restructuring, refinance, recapitalization, merchant banking, venture capital and commercial banking. He began his career with Canara Bank and its subsidiaries in various roles including being senior executive at Can Bank Venture Capital Fund, the first bank sponsored VC fund in India. Has been with Brescon for over 18 years, providing investment banking advisory services in special situation advisory, distress assets resolution, financial restructuring, debt resolution, project funding, IPOs, debt syndication. He was a GSE-Rotary international scholar and was the first senior intern of World Bank from India in UK in the venture capital field (Hambros Advanced Technologies Trust plc / Top Technologies Inc, London).

Mr Rao holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Management from IMI, India (in collaboration with IMEAD, Geneva and McGill Montreal) and a Master’s Degree in Economics from APAU Hyderabad. Won several awards for scholastic achievements.

Naga is a versatile and passionate leader with around 2+ decades of global experience. As a full time angel investor, invested in 8 start-ups through Indian Angel Network (IAN) and leads IAN’ Impact Ventures initiative.

 

Being passionate with impact ventures, he advises Acumen Fund. Involved with Acumen’ other investments like, Husk Power Systems in Bihar. Naga is also a Venture Advisor at United Seed Fund that invests in early stage ventures serving BoP and part of Ennovent’ Impact Circle.

 

Served as the chairman of jury panel at Sankalp Regional summit 2012 focusing on 8 Low Income States (LIS) and in Sankalp Unconventional 2013.

 

Supports NeN for over 5 years now and advises on IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Canter) program that is initiated by DST where NeN is a facilitator. Helped e-cells in Sagar Institutions, Bangalore and Thiagarajar College of Engineering in Madurai.

 

Served as President of the Atlanta and San Diego Chapters for the Association for India’s Development (AID). AID received Times of India Social Impact award in 2011.

Naganand Doraswamy, Managing Director & CEO, Ideaspring Capital

Naganand Doraswamy is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in management and technology. He is a successful entrepreneur and is well networked in the community. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry and has held several leadership roles. He has participated actively in many standard bodies and has been an invited speaker in various panels and conferences such as Network+Interop. He is the President of TiE Bangalore, on board of TiE Global trustees , NASSCOM 10,000 start-up warehouse in Bangalore an a member of FICCI start-up committee. He is on various committees of Government of Karnataka to further entrepreneurship.

Naganand founded Ideaspring capital to invest in very early stage product innovation companies. In addition to funding, the fund has a unique program “startup assist” that provides key interventions to increase focus on customer and product management.

At SPAN (www.spansystems.com), as a Co-Founder and EVP, Naganand is actively contributing to engineering in R&D and development as well as operations including HR, IT, and operations. In addition co-managing the engineering team, he is also focused on building a business unit in the area on data and wireless networking. He is also actively contributing to the strategy and growth of the company.

Prior to joining SPAN, Naganand was co-founder of Lexar Networks, MA, USA working on an idea in cellular and Wi-Fi convergence. Prior to that, he was the Director of Software at PhotonEx Corporation, MA, USA where he built carrier class software for long haul transmission systems. He was one of the very early hire into the company that raised over $160 million in funding.

Prior to PhotonEx, he was a Consulting Engineer at Nortel Networks. He was one of the architects and a technical lead for Nortel’s core router.  Prior to that, he worked on next generation network architectures and protocol in Bay Networks Architecture Labs and made significant contributions to various products at Bay Networks.  Prior to joining Bay Networks, as an architect and technical lead for TCP/IP stack and IP Security at FTP Software, Inc. he and developed the industry’s first client IP Security solution.

Naganand is a published author. He co-authored a book on IPSecurity titled “IPSec: The new security standard for the Internet, Intranets, and Virtual Private Networks,” published by Prentice Hall. As an active participant in IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) he was the chair of IP Compression Working group and chaired “Birds Of a Feather” forums (BOF’s) on VPNs.  He has been awarded 8 patents and 2 patents are pending in the area of networking and security.  He has 11 technical publications published in journals and conferences, has given numerous workshops at the Networld+Interop, and has been on various technical panels.

Naganand is co-founder and on the board of ScienceAdda (www.scienceadda.com) which focusses bringing curated and mobile experiential zones in various aspects of Science to schools. Naganand served on the boards of SPAN Infotech India, Aylus Networks India Pvt Ltd (www.aylus.com) and Basil India (www.basilcom.biz).

Naganand has a Masters in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. He got his Bachelors in Computer Science from U.V.C.E, Bangalore, India. Naganand is married with two kids. He loves playing tennis and occasional golfing. He enjoys reading fiction.
