Nilesh is the Associate Director for Strategy Consulting with the Growth Advisory practice at Grant Thornton Bharat.

Nilesh is an experienced management consultant with over 14 years of experience. He has advised MNCs, Global banks, corporate houses, Family Offices, Private investors and Private Equity firms on a variety of strategic and business planning topics.  He often advises clients across India, the Middle-east and the US geographies, advising them on corporate strategy, investment strategy, business planning and diligence exercises.

Nilesh is a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad and a B.E. in Information Technology.

Nilesh Shah is Managing Director and CEO at Axis Capital. He is managing Investment Banking, Broking and NBFC business for the Bank.

He has worked with ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund and ICICI Securities covering Debt, Equity, Currency and Real Estate markets over last two decades.

Nilesh is a Gold Medallist Chartered Accountant and a Cost Accountant. He is also topper of GFM-25 Course at J P Morgan. Nilesh was the Inaugural Business Standard Fund Manager of the Year- Debt in 2003. Nilesh was also Inaugural CA Professional Manager of the Year 2007 – Private Sector

Nilesh Shrivastava heads the financial institutions investments portfolio for IFC in South Asia covering India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other countries. He has been working in the financial sector for over 17 years and has a decade of experience with IFC, investing and working closely with banks, financial institutions and payments companies across South Asia, East Asia and Africa. Currently, he manages 75 clients with invested assets of over $2.1 Bn spanning early stage and mature clients in banking, micro/SME finance, housing finance, infrastructure finance and payment companies. IFC has been among the most active private sector investors in the financial sector in the South Asia across equity, debt and mezzanine instruments building an impactful and profitable financial sector portfolio and Nilesh has been an integral part of the journey. Earlier, he has worked with HSBC in banking roles. He holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata and an engineering degree from Lucknow University.

Niraj Didwania, Head Corporate Development & Investor Relations, HCG

Niraj Didwania heads the corporate development and investor relations function at HCG and was part of the team responsible in successfully taking the company public in the Company's IPO last year. Prior to joining HCG, Niraj was working as an investment banker in Kotak Investment Bank. Niraj, with combined experience over 12 yrs specializes in venture capital, private equity and cross-border Mergers and Acquisition transactions and has worked in Kotak, ING, UBS investment banks in New York and Mumbai. Niraj has management degrees in Finance and Marketing and has successfully closed deals in finance, consumer, IT and healthcare industries. Niraj has participated in Investor Conferences in Mumbai, Singapore, London and manages domestic and foreign institutional investors of HCG. As part of Corporate Development, Niraj is responsible for leading and managing new initiatives including domestic and international Joint ventures, partnerships and associations as well as investments in new ventures and start-ups.
