Mohit Sureka, Founder & CEO, Spiel Studios Pvt Ltd

Mohit Sureka is the Founder & CEO of Spiel Studios, India’s leading game development & publishing company specializing on all platforms including Mobile, Hand-held, Online, Social, PC and Console.

Mohit launched his first company called Pacemail at the age of 14, and soon after college, he started Spiel Studios. He has done FMB management from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research.


Mohit Tandon, Co-founder, Delhivery

Mohit is the Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Delhivery. Delhivery is a third-party express delivery and logistics solutions provider to clients in e-commerce/online retail business. Previously, he has been a consultant at Bain & Company with 5 years of experience across infrastructure, industrial goods, logistics, power and private equity.

Mohit has also worked with Godrej, leading projects on organization re-design; mergers & acquisitions. He holds a B.Tech & an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur.

At the Techcircle E-Commerce Forum 2014, Mohit will be sharing his experience on Innovations in Logistics. Emergence of e-commerce has drastically altered the operations and logistics business in India with businesses striving to meet continuously changing customer expectations. Same-day delivery, Cash-On-Delivery, Inventory management can become pain points for e-commerce companies if it is not integrated in business planning processes.

Monica Mehta, Director-Investments, Omidyar Network India Advisors

Monica is a director at Omidyar Network India Advisors where she manages the firm’s Education initiative’s investments in India. Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Monica was a partner at Kaizen Private Equity where she was involved in fundraising, investor relations, deal sourcing, due diligence, education operations, board roles, investment monitoring, and exits. 

Before working in capital markets, Monica spent 16 years in the education sector and was the founder or co-founder of three entrepreneurial education ventures. She also conceptualized and set up the Global Pathways Institute (GPI), Mumbai and the American National College (ANC) in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where she was instrumental in forging relationships with several U.S. universities that offer programs in Asia.

Additionally, Monica’s family trust runs 12 nonprofit schools and colleges in Saurashtra, Gujarat, where the schools have helped raise the literacy of women to 93%. Given her experience, Monica is well-networked in the education sector in India, with easy access to senior level professionals in the education sector.

Monica graduated from Thunderbird School of Global Management with an MBA in International Business, and she also received an M.Com. and a B.Com. in accounting and finance from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics.

Monika is a founding partner at Arete Advisors and leader of the healthcare practice. She has c.16 years of consulting experience including over 13 years in healthcare advisory. During this time Monika has worked with more than 100 leading firms, private equity funds and government departments. She has supported them in improving access to healthcare services, formulating strategies for growth, improving operational performance, making investment decisions and building their people’s capabilities. She has provided advisory services across over 50 markets in the country and other South East Asian and Middle Eastern countries. She has an in-depth understanding across sub-segments in healthcare delivery including multi-specialty hospitals, specialty centres and day care, retail formats of healthcare delivery and laboratory and radiology diagnostics.

At Areté she has advised leading healthcare groups in the country and led commercial diligence/post-investment performance improvement exercises for leading global and Indian Private Equity players with interest in healthcare.

Prior to founding Areté, Monika was the President and CEO of the Corporate Advisory Division at Feedback Infra. She is a management graduate from IIM Ahmedabad and a post graduate in Physics from Delhi University.

Montek Mayal, Senior Managing Director & Practice Leader India - Economic and Financial Consulting & International Arbitration, FTI Consulting

Montek Mayal is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting. He is a member of the Economic Consulting practice and is based in New Delhi. He joined the firm in November 2009 as a Research Analyst and subsequently went on to lead the Economic Consulting and International Arbitration practice in India.

Montek specializes in the assessment of quantum, financial, economic and valuation issues in contentious and non-contentious matters. He also has a broad range of experience on issues including valuation of businesses and shares, calculation of lost profits, spectrum auctions, bid strategy development, market and economic analysis, and research.

Montek has developed and designed several of quantitative models to value and forecast different aspects of businesses such as: real estate, hospitality, telecommunications, oil & gas, mining, financial services, travel and hospitality, consumer and branded goods, media and aviation.

Montek acts as an expert for domestic and international arbitrations. Between 2017 to 2020 he has testified before numerous tribunals. For this work he has been recognised as a global leading expert witness by The International Who’s Who of Commercial Arbitration.

From 2016 to 2020 Montek was listed in Who’s Who Legal in the field of ‘Quantum of Damages’. They also recognized him as a Thought Leader in 2019 and again in 2020. He was also awarded the Achiever's Awards by Legal League Consulting for his contribution to Dispute Advisory and Expert Witness Services.

Montek is currently a Vice Chairman of the Society of Construction Law (SCL) in India, Co-chairman for SCL Young Leaders Group in India, and a guest faculty on Damages and Valuation for CIArb and ICAI. He also serves on the board of a joint venture with Intel Capital in the field of robotic surgeries.

Montek graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in mathematics and computer science from Colgate University in 2009. He is a CFA and CVA Charterholder.


Mr CVL Srinivas, Director, Times Private Treaties

CVL Srinivas joined Times Private Treaties from Maxus (GroupM) where he was CEO, Asia Pacific. He played a significant role there and led Maxus to over 20 big new business wins in two years, beating all leading media agencies in India. Prior to that he was COO with Madison Media, wherein he increased Madison Media client base, geographic presence, billing, and profitability to make it the second biggest media agency group in India. He has also had rewarding stints as Media Head handling the Personal Care & Foods portfolio at Hindustan Lever / JWT Fulcrum (today a part of Group M) and Lintas, earlier.

Having completed his BE (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from BITS Pilani, Srinivas went on to do his PGDBM from XLRI, Jamshedpur where he won a Gold Medal in his field of Marketing. His interests lie in teaching, training, travel, music.music.


Mr S. Venkatraman, Director & Head, Food & Agribusiness Research and Advisory, Rabo India Finance Ltd.

S. Venkatraman has been working with Rabo India Finance for over five and half years. He is the sector specialist in Sugar, Edible oils and biofuels and has authored publications in all these sectors. He has also spoken at various industry forums and showcased his sector knowledge.

Venkat has been part of the team which has advised the Government of India on the Vision Document for the Food Processing sector and the National Horticulture Mission. He has also advised various domestic and international corporates on entry strategy, market study and implementation assistance in the Food and Agri sector.

Prior to joining Rabo India, Venkat has worked for 7 years in the consumer marketing space, spread across Johnson & Johnson and Marico Industries, both based in Mumbai (India).

Venkat has a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. He lives in Mumbai with his family
