Mukesh Sharma, Co-founder and MD, Menterra Venture Advisors Private Limited
Mukesh is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Menterra. Till recently, he was a Chief Investment Officer at Villgro, India’s oldest and foremost social enterprise incubator. He has over 10 years of experience in impact investing, private equity and investment banking space. He has worked on over 50 buy-side and sell-side transactions across Asia, Middle-East and Europe.
Mukesh is also a non-executive director on the board of Biosense Technologies, a company that produces low-cost, non-invasive diagnostic solutions for the developing world. ?He is a Chartered Accountant and has passed all three levels of CFA from CFA Institute, USA.
Mukul Bafana, Co-founder & MD, Jabong.com
Mukul Bafana is a Co-founder and Managing Director at Jabong.com and oversees product management (website management) and information technology. Mukul received an MBA from the Harvard Business School (2012) and a BBA from the University of Michigan (2004) focusing in finance and computer information systems.
Mukul has experiences in corporate/business strategy, business development, finance, & entrepreneurial ventures, working with organizations in the United States, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Mukul joined McKinsey & Co. after completing his BBA and worked as a consultant for senior management in the financial services, consumer goods, transportation & logistics, and non-profit sectors. After three years as a consultant, Mukul joined Bain Capital as part of their North American Private Equity group, working on global leveraged buyouts/private transactions and operational initiatives at portfolio companies across various industries. Not only this, but he has also added one of the renowned employers around the world to his profile. Highly captivated by Mukul’s ability to developnew businesses for a company, Google hired him to be a part of its global Partner Strategy (Strategic Partnerships & Business Development) group. His most recent stint before Jabong.com was in a business development role at GroupMe, a mobile tech startup that was acquired by Skype/Microsoft.
Mukul completed his schooling from St. Vincent’s (Pune) and in the United States. He has a penchant for learning and views his varied professional endeavors as continued experiments in learning. He is passionate about building sustainable Indian consumer internet businesses. Mukul continues to take up challenges with open arms and the happy go lucky attitude he carries off.

Mukul Gulati, Managing Director, Zephyr Peacock
Mukul Gulati is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Zephyr Peacock Management India Pvt Ltd.
Mukul has 18 years of experience in the investment business including private equity, investment research and general management. Mukul is responsible for overall leadership of the Zephyr Peacock investment team. He is engaged in deal sourcing and evaluation and serves on the Boards of several investee companies of Zephyr Peacock.
Previously, Mukul worked at Multex, where he was involved in setting up and managing the firm’s quantitative equity research business.
Mukul is a Charter member of the Bangalore chapter of TiE Global. He also serves as an advisor to TechnoServe India. TechnoServe is a global organization that supports entrepreneurship in developing economies.
Mukul received an MBA with honors from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maryland, where he was a Dean’s Scholar at the Department of Economics.
Mukul Kumar, Co-Founder & Senior Vice President Engineering, PubMatic
Mukul Kumar co-founded PubMatic and leads the company's engineering team. Before PubMatic, he was the Director of Engineering at PANTA Systems, a high-performance computing startup. Prior to PANTA, he was Senior Manager at Veritas India, joining the company as the 13th employee. He helped Veritas India grow to over 2,000 employees. He has filed for 14 patents in systems software, storage software, and application software. He proudly proclaims his love for π and ability to recite it to 60 digits.
Mukul is a graduate of IIT Kharagpur with a degree in Electrical Engineering and resides in Pune, India.
Mukul Singhal, Principal, Saif Partners
Mukul Singhal joined SAIF in 2010 and is currently Principal. Prior to joining SAIF, he worked at Canaan Partners, an early stage venture capital firm. Mukul is a TiE Charter Member and actively participates in the Indian entrepreneurial ecosystem. His primary area of focus is early stage investments. Mukul is B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.

Mukul is Head of Small Business Payment Solutions at Citi since 2011. In his current role, he has been leading a team of specialized professionals in acquiring & digital payments, merchant partnerships, networks and corporate cards. With over 22 years of experience, he has dedicated the last decade specializing in payments and loyalty programs.
He is responsible for launching the first fully integrated and certified mobile card acceptance solution in India for Citibank globally.
He started his career in 1991 as an entrepreneur for over five years and subsequently moved to work for leading brands in India which includes American Express and Loyalty MINE, a startup firm engaged in developing loyalty programs.
He is a Chemical Engineer and has completed his management program from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Mukund Krishnaswami, Founder and Managing Director, Lighthouse Funds
Krishnaswami is a Founder and Managing Director of Lighthouse Funds. Previously, Krishnaswami was a member of the Private Equity Division of Lehman Brothers in New York, where he was responsible for direct equity investments in both traditional and high growth industries through Lehman Brothers $2 billion merchant banking fund.
His experience includes LBO/take-private transactions, recapitalisations, early to mid-stage venture capital investments, private equity and structured transactions. He began his career in the Corporate Finance and Strategy Practice of McKinsey and Company in New York.
He serves on the Board of Directors of Krilacon Group, RCG Management, Zero Technologies, SAI Investments, Mon Cheri Bridals and Global Affiliates. He is also Co-Founder and Senior Editor of The Linneman Letter, a leading macro-economic and investment research publications for global real estate investors. He holds undergraduate degrees summa cum laude in Economics and Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School.
