Gurpreet is a Computer Science Engineer and has MBA in IT from Symbiosis College, Pune. He has over 10 years of experience in the web industry. In his last job, Gurpreet was the CEO of DotAhead (now called SreenRoot), a web agency in Goa. He built the team from scratch to about 15 professionals and ~$750K in revenues.

He played an architect's role for key web initiative with clients like Merucabs, Kotak, Landmark Group Dubai, IDG India and Sharekhan among others. Gurpreet likes to host barbecue parties and play the drums!

Prior to McKinsey, Ravi Shankar worked at Wipro Technologies in their Embedded and Internet Access division.

At Wipro, Ravi Shankar helped several venture-backed networking start-up clients design and build customer premise equipment for next generation applications like VoDSL and Internet over Cable.

Ravi Shankar received an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad where he was awarded the President’s Gold Medal. He also holds a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from REC Trichy.

He is currently pursuing his doctorate in the field of AI driven sustainability.
