Ashok Motiani, CMD, Freshtrop Fruits Ltd

Ashok V. Motiani is the founder & Managing Director of Freshtrop Fruits Limited. Established in 1992, Freshtrop was one of the first private sector companies to foray into the business of exports of fresh produce. The company initiated a successful trial consignment by sea of Kesar Mangoes from South Gujarat to UK in association with Gujarat Agro Industries Corporation. Freshtrop is today the largest Indian exporter of Table Grapes and Pomegranates to the EU. Its post harvest handling facilities are located in Nasik, Sangli and Satara.

Under the leadership of Mr. Motiani, Freshtrop has established a well reputed client base spread across Europe. ASDA (a subsidiary of Wal-Mart) & Tesco in United Kingdom (UK), Delhaize in Belgium and Migros in Switzerland are among its other major customers.

Before founding Freshtrop Fruits Ltd., Mr. Motiani had established a business for manufacturing corrugated boxes in the name of Capital Packaging Pvt. Ltd. in Gujarat. Mr. Motiani received his education in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT Mumbai.

Ashok has worked with companies like Bharat Petroleum, Reliance Industries Ltd. and Direxions Marketing Solutions and has provided customer engagement solutions for various industry verticals including Retail, Oil & Gas, BFSI, Pharmaceuticals, Media, Telecom and Technology. Over the last 5 years, he has been guiding loyalty professionals in successfully conceptualizing and executing loyalty and relationship programs.

Ashutosh Garg, CMD, Guardian Lifecare Pvt. Ltd

Mr. Ashutosh Garg is an MBA and has worked in the corporate sector for twenty-five years. He spent seventeen years of his career at ITC Limited, where he rose to become the youngest ever managing director of any ITC group company. In January 1995, he was recognized as the &lsquoGlobal Leader for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland. He left ITC the same year and spent eight years in the aerospace industry. In 2003 he started the chain of health and beauty retail outlets in north India under the brand name Guardian Pharmacy, which has now grown to over 117 outlets. He is also the author of the bestselling book &lsquoThe Buck Stops Here.

Mr. Garg is the member of the Young President Organisation since 1994 as well as a charter member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs). He serves on the board of the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization and several companies.

Ashutosh Mayank, VP, Lumis Partners

Ashutosh is a Vice President at Lumis Partners. He is the Domain Leader for the Supply Chain portfolio of Lumis. He has a dual role of Portfolio Management and Investment Analysis. In the Portfolio Management role, he helps in building expansion strategies, developing sales & marketing processes and in M&A. In the Investment Analysis role, Ashutosh is actively involved in investment evaluation, financial analysis, structuring, documentation, review of contracts etc.

He is respected among the entrepreneur community, specialist advisors in technology domain and investment bankers.

Prior to joining Lumis, Ashutosh has worked with the Transaction Advisory Services team of Ernst & Young whereby he was involved in all phases of the M&A sell-side transaction. Prior to working with Ernst & Young, Ashutosh worked with JP Morgan Chase’s derivative division and also at Tata Motors.

Ashutosh has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Ashutosh Mishra is a senior banker and published author. He handles markets sales function for ANZ Bank in India and has over seventeen years of experience in global banks like Goldman Sachs and Deustche Bank. In addition to his banking career, he is an avid reader and blogger. He also like to run, exercise and meditate. His book ‘Happiness is All We Want!’ has been published recently by Bloomsbury, the publishers of Harry Potter series. Through his book, blogs and talks,  Ashutosh has motivated thousands of people to take charge of their physical, mental and spiritual well-being. He is an alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur and IIT Delhi. Ashutosh Modi, Executive Director, EntrancePrime.com

Ashutosh in his current role as Executive Director is responsible for development of new revenue channels for JIVEM Education, technology adaptation, efficiency enhancement of various departments, pedagogy innovations and people enabling. Ashutosh is independently heading the e-learning team of EntrancePrime.com and is responsible for the growth and visibility of the Test Prep portal.

Ashutosh having a deep understanding of the K-12 ecosystem played a key role in creating and implementing profitable models in school management and support services.

Being a technology student and an entrance exam aspirant himself, Ashutosh felt a need to utilize technology to bring precision to entrance exam preparation. Therefore, he developed the multi-faceted test prep portal, www.entranceprime.com, which helps students practice every chapter in a real test environment and get detailed and meaningful analysis and suggestions to improve their score, accuracy and time management skills.

Ashutosh holds a Global MBA in Global logistics and Supply Chain Management from S P Jain School of Global Management, Singapore & Dubai. He has also studied at Schulich School of Business - York University, Toronto, Canada. He has pursued his Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from University of Rajasthan.

Prior to joining JIVEM Education, Ashutosh worked with Larsen & Toubro Infotech for close to three years.

Ashutosh brings with him diverse global exposure in terms of education and work and complements it with an Indian cultural upbringing in a Marwari business family.
