Sunil Mishra, Partner, Adams Street

Sunil specializes in fund selection, due diligence, negotiations, and monitoring of Asian investments ex-China, specifically in India, Australia, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Korea. He also actively participates in all fund investment decisions and is involved in the sourcing, screening, execution, monitoring, and exiting of growth and buyout co-investments.

Prior to joining Adams Street, Sunil worked for Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore performing financial and business analyses of local and regional companies. Previously, he worked in India as an Investment and Strategy Associate in Tacogroup, the automotive technology and engineering investment arm of the Tata Group of India, where he worked on business planning, feasibility studies, and localization plans for new ventures.

Sunil manages relationships with several of Adams Street’s managers and sits on advisory boards of more than a dozen private equity firms within the Adams Street Partners portfolio. He is currently Chairman of the Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCA) and has been a member of the SVCA Board since 2016.

He is also a member of Adams Street’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee.

Sunil Nair, Program Head - Money Spot & Key Account Relations, Prizm Payment Services Pvt Ltd

Sunil V. Nair is a Chartered Accountant with nearly 20 years of post-qualification experience. He is currently working with Prizm Payments Pvt. Ltd. a leading player in the payments business in India. At Prizm, Sunil is responsible for the profitability of Money Spot (the White Label ATMs) vertical. In addition he is also responsible for growing and maintaining some key Account Relationships.

Before joining Prizm, he has spent about 10+ years at Euronet Worldwide where his last held Designation was Managing Director for South Asia. As a Managing Director he was responsible for building up some key relationship with customers such as NPCI, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank to name a few. He also been actively involved in growing the Cashnet (multi-lateral ATM network) and VAS business of Euronet in the region. As the Managing Director he was responsible for the operations and  service delivery for all customers across Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa. Prior to his promotion as the Managing Director South Asia Sunil was the Chief Financial Officer for Euronet’s Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa business.

He has also worked with Hutchison Max, Concorde Motors and Arthur Andersen during the early part of his carrer.


Sunil Nalavadi, CFO, VRL Logistics Ltd.

Mr. Sunil Nalavadi serves as Chief Financial Officer of VRL Logistics Ltd. He has served as Chief Accounts Officer of VRL Logistics Ltd. He joined VRL Logistics on April 1, 2005 and presently is in charge of accounts, finance and taxation matters of it. His responsibilities includes finalization and publication of accounts and attending the taxation matters.

He was employed with M/s H. K. Veerabhadrappa and Co. as Senior Manager (Audit) from June 1, 2003 to March 31, 2005 and was responsible for Statutory audit and Internal Audits of corporate, banks and advisor to the taxation matters.

Mr. Nalavadi holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Karnataka University and is a Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.


Sunil Rohokale, CEO & MD, ASK Group

Sunil Rohokale spearheads the ASK Group initiatives along with the subsidiary companies. He is regarded as someone with strong credentials in setting up new businesses and building strong professional teams that deliver results.

Belonging to a rare breed of professionals with experience in assets, liabilities and investments, he worked with ICICI Home Finance as the Managing Director and CEO prior to joining the ASK Group. At ICICI Bank, he was a member of the core team that started the mortgage business in 1999. Under his leadership, the bank achieved a leadership position in the business.


Sunil Sanghai, MD - Head of Global Banking India, HSBC

Sunil Sanghai  heads Global Banking for HSBC, India.  

 

Prior to joining HSBC, he was a Managing Director and Co-Head Investment Banking India at Goldman Sachs.
Sunil, started his investment banking career 1992 and has rich experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, advisory and domestic and global capital markets. He has been involved in many significant and large capital markets and M&A transactions in India.

 

At HSBC, he is responsible for Corporate & Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Project Finance.
He chairs the Committee on Capital Markets of FICCI.

 

He is closely associated with a few philanthropic organizations working towards   growth of children.


Sunil Sharma, Managing Director Sales (India & SAARC), Sopho

Sunil Sharma joined Sophos in 2011 as vice president, sales, for India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives. He is responsible for the company’s regional sales and channel organization. Sophos acquired India’s prominent network security company Cyberoam, where Sunil was responsible for the entire sales and operations for these regions since 2011.

His in depth understanding of sales channels like system integrators, value added resellers, distributors, retailers and OEM’s had helped grow the Cyberoam business by 500%. He also grew the channel base from 390 to 2500+ partners across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives.

With more than twenty four years of senior sales and channel experience at storage and security companies, Sunil most recently served as National Manager - Channels & Alliances at McAfee. In this role, he helped the company make alliances with Wipro, HCL Technologies & TCS and created the complete base for Tier II partners, which helped the company grow by 450% in 5 years.

Prior to joining McAfee, Sunil held the national channel sales position at EMC Corporation.

He has been awarded The Channel Chief of The Year in 2015 and 2016 from SME Channels and NCN Magazine respectively.

Sunil has a Master’s in Business Management with specialization in marketing and B.TECH in electronics & communications from the Delhi University.

He serves on the board and committees of various healthcare companies and few prestigious institutions. He is a governing council member of NATHEALTH and a member on CII – National Committee on Biotechnology.

Sunil Udupa, Chairman & MD, Securens Systems Pvt Ltd

He is a Graduate from College of Engineering, Pune where he passed B.E. (Electrical Engineering) with distinction and then got his Masters in Information Engineering from the reputed City University, London.

Sunil R Udupa is a veteran in Banking & Payment Industry with 25 years of experience has a history of building many successful companies from scratch.He bought in the country’s first ATM with Diebold, took it through from a distributor company to a JV with Diebold that finally cumulated with merger with Diebold Inc of USA.

He also brought in the Country’s first ATM Switch, Base 24 from ACI, as a Director with HMA Data Systems for Indian Bank. He also envisioned the country’s first National Payment System under the Brand of Swadhan, an IBA initiative. He was the Managing Director of the India Switch Company, the company that delivered the solution.

He has many other successful firsts to his credit including the first ATM on VSAT, the first ATM on mobile network, the first mobile Branch, the first Biometric ATM, the first Lobby Banking and many others. Through his acute vision, he could foretell the need of the Banking industry with great accuracy. In his last role, he was instrumental in transforming AGS from a Color Technology company into leadership position in the ATM Business.
