Siddharth is a Partner in the Funds and Corporate Practice Group in Mumbai. Prior to joining Khaitan & Co, he was a Partner at Nishith Desai Associates. He has vast experience in the funds space having over the years advised large number of clients on matters related to fund formation involving structuring & organisation of domestic and offshore funds across asset classes, corporate and regulatory advice in relation to operations of the funds, foreign investment and exchange control laws. In addition to fund formation, he also has substantial experience in corporate transactional space including fund investments (including PE investments in real estate sector), public and private acquisitions, corporate restructuring and capital markets (involving public and private offerings).

Siddharth Varadarajan is a Founding Editor of The Wire. He was earlier the Editor of The Hindu and is a recipient of the Shorenstein Journalism Award and the Ramnath Goenka Award for Journalist of the Year. He taught Economics at New York University and Journalism at the University of California, Berkeley, besides working at the Times of India.

Siddhartha Das has been a General Partner with Ventureast, one of India’s longest-standing venture capital institutions investing in pioneering sectors, since 2006. With over 19 years’ corporate and venture capital experience with Intel Corporation, Siddhartha oversees technology related investments of the Ventureast Proactive Fund. Siddhartha was also part of the investment arm Intel Capital and has worked on some of the most successful venture investments in the telecom, consumer Internet and software technology sectors.
He was also a member of the Cornell University Industrial Affiliates program. He has been an executive member of the Manufacturers Association of Information Technology (MAIT) of India, was a member-representative of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) in India, and a Charter member of the Bangalore Chapter of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a global non profit organization for fostering entrepreneurship.Siddhartha has a B.Tech from IIT, New Delhi, and a PhD from Cornell University, New York. He is a mentor to many India based entrepreneurs, and is a speaker at forums organized by NASSCOM, CII, Asian Venture Forum, and IVCJ.

Siddhartha co-founded Spice Labs in 2009 with the aim of exploring the exploding Mobile world. Leading the consumer applications he helped it outpace all other efforts. Presently he leads the team as the CEO and Chief Gamer.
Since taking over as CEO in 2012, Siddhartha has shaped Spice Labs as a Mobile Gaming company driving up users from about half a million a month to more than 5 million a month in less than 9 months.
Before Spice Labs, he was involved in 3 different projects.
In 2001, as a fresh graduate out of college he joined firstRain leading the Product for Market Intelligence solution based a highly scalable web crawling, indexing and categorization engine. The solution was employed by multiple Fortune 500 companies.
At GlobalLogic for an year he lead the VoIP group managing teams in US, India and Japan to deliver next generation telephony systems.
Siddhartha joined Mobisoc in late, 2006 and created powerful tools that did macro and micro level analytics on extremely large operator data to get highly valuable consumer insights. He lead the conceptualization and execution of 'Mitr', a cross platform mobile development platform that was the basis of the first wave of mobile strategy of top 25 Indian internet companies.
He is an active 'social-entrepreneur' and helps run 'Adharshila School' in MP, India bringing education to remote tribal areas.
Siddhartha graduated from Indian Institute of Technology - Delhi, in 2001.
