Srinivasu M.N (Vasu), Co-Founder & Director, Billdesk

Vasu is a Director and a co-founder of BillDesk, India's largest Electronic Payments Service Platform.

Established in early 2000, BillDesk delivers and manages a range of specialized electronic payments, remittance and gateway solutions for various verticals markets such as banking, telecom, insurance, utilities financial services and e-commerce businesses.  

Today, BillDesk is the Trusted Partner of India’s largest institutions, and it extensive processing network is today used by over 60 of India’s largest banks and many large organizations across diverse industry segments. The BillDesk platform processes a dominant share of the online transactions that are conducted through aggregator platforms, in India.

Vasu holds a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad.  Prior to founding BillDesk, Vasu worked with ITC Limited and Arthur Andersen.

Sriram Kannan is the founder & CEO at Nivaata Systems. Nivaata’s innovative technology solutions help organizations to automate and optimize key business areas such as distribution & planning, transportation, asset monitoring, logistics & sales force effectiveness, and realize real top line and bottom line growth.

Prior to Nevaata Sriram was the Chief Innovation Officer at i2i TeleSolutions, Lead Engineer - OMAP software solutions delivery at WTBU Japan and Senior Software Engineer - OMAP Software R&D at Texas Instruments India.

Sriram is a MS, Computer Science from India Institute of Science and B.Sc Physics from Madras University.

Sriram V Iyer, Co-Founder, United Mobile Apps (UMA) is also the Technology Editor of YourStory.in. His interests are Mobile / Wireless technologies (esp LTE) , Mobile Operating Systems and Cloud Computing.  He has a special liking for dynamic programming languages (esp Python) and dabbles in Ruby, F# and Lisp occasionally.

Sriram was part of the team that had a vision of integrating Mobile and the Cloud as early as 2009. UMA was one of the early adopters of Azure, with their solution (www.usyncworld.com) going live in 2010. It was a unique blend of Open Source Technologies (Glassfish, Java EE) on Microsoft Azure.

Sriram is also the author of ‘Embedded Realtime Systems Programming’ for Tata McGrawHill and has a couple of patents (pending) in the domain of Wireless Schedulability, Dynamic Programming languages.

Srishti Ojha is the founding partner of Verist Law. Srishti graduated in 2002 from National Law ?School of India University, Bangalore,? with a B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) and a gold medal in international law and holds an LL.M. from New York University School of Law?.

Srishti has several years of ?advisory and ?transactional experience ? ?including listed buy-outs, securities laws, regulatory and advisory including exchange control regulations and ongoing corporate compliance.


Srivatsa Krishna, Secretary, Dept. of IT, BT and S&T - Government of Karnataka

Srivatsa Krishna, topped India in the National Civil Services Examination in 1994, was awarded President of India's Gold Medal and joined the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), India's top management government cadre. He was part of the leadership team, which pioneered E-governance in India, and created one of Asia’s largest IT and investment clusters, Cyberabad. This  team  was  instrumental in bringing in several Fortune  500 companies such as Microsoft, HSBC, General Electric, Google, IBM, and Oracle etc. to invest in Hyderabad, valued today at $5.2b by a recent Goldman Sachs BRICS report.

He went on to become the first serving IAS officer to complete the MBA Program at Harvard  Business  School and is  an  alumnus of Oxford University as well. World Economic Forum at Davos honored him as one of its Top 100 Global Leaders  for Tomorrow in Davos in 2003. Thinkers 50, has recognized him as  one of top 50 thinkers from India in 2013.

In 2008-09 he led a study commissioned by the highest levels of the Government of India on PPPs and private equity regulation and policy for the country on behalf of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), The World Bank Group. Srivatsa served in the Strategy, Finance and Risk Management Vice Presidency at the World Bank in Washington D.C.

Srivatsa writes regularly for Times of India, Wall Street Journal, Business Today, Financial Times, etc and is a prominent commentator on prime time national television on BBC, CNN, Times Now and BBC. He is currently completing his PhD at IIT.

Srivatsa Krishna is currently Secretary, e-governance, and Chairman of KUIDFC (Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation). He led the team that launched MobileOne, which was certified as the world’s largest mobile governance platform with over 4,000 services; set up India’s first Startup Warehouse; runs India’s largest e-procurement platform; launched free public Wi-Fi in Bangalore and is now setting up India's 1st Big Data city.

Earlier he worked in the Strategy, Finance and Risk Management Vice Presidency, World Bank Group, running one of their largest capital investment funds, performance management, offshoring and various PPP projects. The World Economic Forum at Davos recognised him as a Global Leader of Tomorrow and Thinkers50 as one of the top thought leaders in 2013. He is a prominent and influential commentator in both, national print and electronic media.

Srivatsan Rajan, Partner, Bain & Co

Sri Rajan is a partner in the Boston office. He joined the firm in 1996. While at Bain, Sri has worked primarily in the telecom and technology industries. He has helped create growth strategies for software companies, a large electronics manufacturer, a telecom equipment manufacturer, and an electronics distributor. Apart from these, Sri has also worked on marketing strategies for a medical products company and the private banking division of a large financial services firm.

Prior to joining Bain, Sri worked for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and had business management responsibility in positions in Boston and Bombay.

Sri earned his MBA in Strategy and Multinational Management from the Wharton School in May 1996 where he was a Palmer Scholar. He is also a graduate of the Indian Institute of Management.
