Rohit Agrawal, CEO, Mcapital & CFO, Mswipe

Rohit Agrawal is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mcapital, he is also the Chief Financial Officer at Mswipe Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Mcapital is into the business of lending to small and ,medium businesses. It is a 100% subsidiary of Mswipe Technologies Pvt. Ltd. - an independent POS merchant acquirer and network provider. RŽhi?? a Cha??e?ed AccŽ???a?? b? ??Žfe??iŽ? hŽld? a bachelŽ??? deg?ee i? cŽmme?ce f?Žm I?dŽ?e University. He brings with him more than 15 years of corporate experience in banking and new age businesses. Prior to joining Mswipe, Rohit was the National Head of Ecommerce and New Age business at Kotak Mahindra Bank and was instrumental in setting it up and building the Ecommerce and new age business at Kotak. He worked with Kotak Mahindra Bank for 15 years and handled key portfolio in the Corporate Bank. At Mswipe, Rohit leads the entire accounts and finance team along with managing investor relationship and driving entire lending business for the group.


Rohit Bhayana, Managing Partner and Co- founder, Lumis Partners

Rohit is the Managing Partner and co-Founder of Lumis. Working across a global footprint, Rohit has created strategies & built a synergistic portfolio of businesses; run technology businesses; managed M&A; and led large Outsourcing Initiatives.

In Lumis, Rohit has been actively involved in the critical blocks across - building the Team, executing the Operating philosophy of the fund, and honing on the thematic synergy in multiple ecosystems and portfolios that have been built. He directly owns the fund's strategy in Supply Chain and has been actively building the Portfolio.

Before Lumis Partners, Rohit was at GE, and in his last position, he led GE's Software business (GESS), which eventually merged with Genpact. Rohit's career at GE spanned across multiple businesses including leading GE's Global Outsourcing Initiative.

Rohit is a postgraduate from the London School of Economics and an Engineer in Computer Science from Delhi University.


Rohit Chaddha, Co-founder & CEO, Food Panda

As the founder, Mr. Rohit Chadda was the key strategist in establishing foodpanda to what it is today - the largest online food ordering platform globally with a presence in 45 countries across 4 continents and a coverage of over 22,000 restaurants. Foodpanda is currently live in over 200 cities globally in less than two years from its inception.

He spearheaded the brand to make it one of the top food ordering platforms by concentrating on optimizing operations and increasing customer reach through most optimal online & offline marketing channels. He has associated the brand with all the big-wigs like Pizza Hut, Dominos, McDonalds and KFC on one platform spoiling the customer for “choice”.    

Rohit has had the distinct honour of receiving the ‘Aditya Birla Award’ for Business Leadership for two consecutive years in 2007-08 & 08-09. He has been featured on priciple television networks and TV shows like CNBC TV18 Young Turks & CNBC Awaaz Entrepreneur. Additionally, top international magazines like Fortune and Forbes have featured a cover story and a case study respectively on Foodpanda and him.

Before venturing out on his own, Rohit was previously an investment banker and has worked with Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London, Hong Kong as well as Mumbai. With regrads to education, he is an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a Computer Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering.


Rohit Dhar, President - Products, upGrad

Rohit, an entrepreneur himself, had co-founded Brainybatch Internet, India’s first lending platform focused on making education affordable by providing short-term. He has vast experience in managing products for leading companies like OLX, Flipkart, e-Bay, PayPal, and StubHub. He is the Head of Products at upGrad and leads the entire Product, Data Science, Analytics, and Design verticals.


Rohit Gera, MD, Gera Developments Pvt. Ltd

Rohit Gera is the Managing Director of Gera Developments Pvt. Ltd. He has a Bachelor degree in Science with a double major in Building Construction & Project Management and Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

He has completed the Advanced Management Development Program in Real Estate at The Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

He has been a member of the Executive Committee of CREDAI Pune Metro since 1999 and currently serves as the Vice President of CREDAI (Pune) Metro.


Rohit Gulati, CEO, UTI Capital

Rohit Gulati is the CEO of UTI Capital, a subsidiary of UTI AMC Limited. UTI Capital inter alia, is the Investment Manager of UTI Structured Debt Opportunities Fund 1 (SDOF), an INR 800 cr category 2 AIF, focussed on generating superior risk adjusted returns in structured debt opportunities across sectors.

Rohit has more than 21 years of work experience. Besides Investing and fund raising, he has had a wide range of experience in the various facets of Corporate Finance, including Stressed Assets Management, Investment Banking, Valuations and Restructuring Advisory. Prior to joining UTI Capital, he has worked with Religare Capital Markets, ICICI Securities, ICICI Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Rohit is a Chartered Accountant and a Commerce graduate from Delhi University.


Rohit Gupta, Chief Financial Officer, NIIT Ltd | @NIITLtd

Rohit Gupta joined NIIT's leadership team in April 2011 as its Chief Finance Officer. Rohit has over 25 years of experience in Driving Enterprise Cost and Financial Management Strategy formulation. He previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Virgin Mobile India and has a strong track record of driving operational improvements in processes in telecom and IT industries.

At NIIT, Rohit has spearheaded various initiatives including the recent Scheme of Arrangement exercise as part of Business Transformation, BalanceSheet restructuring, Cost Management and Fund raising. Earlier he led EVA Implementation project which has helped ensure financial discipline across the company. Rohit has a background in Operations, Accounting, Finance, planning & Budgeting, International Taxation, Revenue Management, Treasury Management, Cost Management and Legal & Secretarial Management which enables him to manage tough business decisions.

A B.com (Hons) from Delhi University and a Member of Chartered Accountants of India, Rohit has also worked with DCM Shriram Group, Hutchison Max Group, British Telecom Group, and Bharti Airtel Limited.


Rohit Jain, Principal, SAIF Partner

Rohit Jain joined SAIF in 2013 and is currently Principal. Prior to joining SAIF, Rohit has had a long career in leading technology companies both in US and India. He has worked with Microsoft, IBM Research and Google in various technology and product roles in areas such as distributed systems, mobile, search and advertising, and cloud infrastructure systems. He has published numerous research papers and holds multiple patents in these areas. He was also the co-founder of Mobisoc, a mobile technology startup. His primary area of focus is early stage investments.
 
Rohit has a B. Tech from  IIT Delhi and MS from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, both in Computer Science.


Rohit Kapoor, Chief Executive Officer, India & South East-Asia (INSEA), OYO

Rohit is currently the CEO for OYO India & South East Asia [INSEA] across businesses which includes key leading markets  - India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Philippines. Started in 2013, OYO Hotels & Homes today is the world’s leading technology and revenue growth platform for small hotels and homeowners. He joined the company as CEO of real-estate business and in less than a year he took the charge to lead India & South Asia business and has recently taken on the larger mantle of driving growth in the South-East Asia region. He led OYO India during the once in a lifetime pandemic year transforming the business across financials, partner and customer NPS. He has contributed to the efforts of building OYO as a top talent destination while delivering supply and revenue growth goals. He is also a partner with other leaders on handling brand, PR and communications for the group across OYO global. 

A seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience, Rohit has worked in various leadership positions across sales and finance in several companies such as Max India Limited and Mckinsey & Company. Prior to joining OYO, Rohit was the Executive Board Member at Max Healthcare for close to 5 years. He has also been Senior Director-Strategy & Business Performance at Max. Before Max India, Rohit was serving as the head of strategy for the Religare group and was involved in shaping the company’s presence across sectors. In the past, Rohit has also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company for close to a decade. During his tenure with McKinsey, he gained extensive exposure to multiple international markets. 

Rohit holds a PGD from Indian School of Business where he was ranked among the top five students in his batch and was the recipient of the Young Leader Award, for best all-around performance in the class. Rohit has recently been featured as one of ISB’s most influential alumni in the book “ISB Portraits.” In addition to the PGD, he is also a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute, USA).  

Rohit is extremely passionate about a quality education, and for access to opportunities being given to all. For this reason, he has been appointed as visiting faculty at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Harappa Education, IMT Ghaziabad, and Vedica Scholars- a programme for women to broaden their horizons. He also dons the hat of an investor across the domains of prop tech, health tech and fintech to name a few as he believes that entrepreneurial ambitions must be nourished, and is actively entrenched in the startup ecosystem of India. He continues to mentor and invest in startups such as OFBusiness, Fitternity, Mosaic Brands, Tjori, Oye Rickshaw, Meddo, to name a few.


Rohit Kapoor, Sr. Director - Strategy and Business Performance, Max India Limited

Rohit is the Senior Director- Strategy & Business Performance for the Max India group - a diversified conglomerate with interests in insurance and healthcare businesses. In his current role he reports to the Managing Director and is part of the group leadership team.

In addition to his role at Max India, Rohit is a member of the Governing Council of Max Healthcare and Leader of the Transformation Office (TO). As leader of the TO, he is responsible for several transformation initiatives related to the health of the business and growth projects.

Rohit is also a board member on Max Specialty Films, Antara Senior Living and Max One Distribution Services

Prior to joining Max India, Rohit was Head of Business Strategy at Religare Enterprises Limited, which is an emerging market financial services company. As part of the role, he was responsible for strategy across capital markets, NBFCs, insurance businesses and asset management.

Rohit was a consultant with McKinsey&Company for close to a decade before Religare. Since joining the firm in 2000, he worked across consulting and practice research functions. In addition to his client commitments, he was a core part of McKinsey’s recruitment efforts in India, and led the learning function for early tenure consultants. He was also a core member of the Financial Institutions operations and technology practice in India.

Rohit holds an PGD from Indian School of Business where he was ranked in the top 5 students in the batch and was the recipient of the Young Leader Award which was awarded to four students for best all round performance in the batch. In addition to an PGD he is also a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute, USA). He is also a visiting faculty at SP Jain Institute of Management and Research.
